By the way, I am a teacher and I appreciate the love Oprah Winfrey has for teachers. I remember what she has done for teachers on her show.
Mental health is so important 💜💜💜
When I got clean, I thought that was the answer. When I got diagnosed with ADHD, I thought that was the final piece. When my brain broke down after so many years of still being bullied by my parents and then a spouse, I was finally diagnosed with Complex PTSD. What is wrong with me? The fact that I was never SHOWN love. No one liked me. Not even teachers. Still working on regulation. I hope this book helps.

I wish you strength, love and peace on your journey. Sometimes the most difficult relationship to master is with ones self and the most difficult to love is also ones self. That is a work in progress for me as well. Be proud of every step you take and each day you can love yourself maybe a little more. You might not think so... But, you deserve the love. ☮️💟

I can imagine how hard it is Manda... May the Almighty God gives you strength and comfort ...No one chooses trauma ...it is inflicted upon the victim ..Even though therapy can help a little bit but the daily struggle is real and tormenting ... It is easy to say “move on” but until one walk on that person’s shoes to witness their nightmare and torment, one should better keep their judgment to themselves than destroy the person even further ... Manda, I wish you to be brave...I wish you to be strong ...I wish you to be happy..😘

Thanks so much for the three of you and your focus on healing all kinds of wounds- I have been a meditator since I was 17 and I'm now 74 but the real changes came when I included deep work within myself that is still going on. Unveiling anything I find- I think meditation allows me to just feel and release without attachment or fear- the space to dig deep and when I keep going I find bliss and love at the root of everything - piece by piece- I knew when I was young that God was in everything but I couldn't actually find it in myself. Now my magic voyage is meditation, release of the old and asking the Divine to help with this and guide me through my day- It's actually magnificent. Thanks! I love the focus on this.
Thank you for sharing your practice of self care. I find my mind races a lot in mediation with my to do list. So, I am learning to release as well. During the moments, I have truly detached is very blissful. I agree it is magnificent. Continued Blessings

So true! I had an awful,horrific teacher in the 6th grade i was only 9 years old.
I will never forget what he said to me☹ i am now 60 still.bothers me.
I believe you ,my 9th Grade Teacher was the Opposite, and I still remember things that she told us
Trauma is an on-going negotiation between the person & the world.
Healthcare is the whole body not just a few parts we can throw symptom reducers at.
Music & shows like Wynonna Earp give me relief.
Nothing against teachers. But I hear many people say how a teacher or someone made a difference when they were growing up and I felt like the teachers paid more attention to the athletes and people that did well in school and people that were lost souls remained lost souls. I don't ever remember teacher reaching out to me in any special way. I was painfully shy and had a very traumatic childhood

Trauma lasts, but eventually we all have to move on someway. It will only interrupt our futures. Then we will traumatize our children. Gotta try people. Don’t keep blaming childhood. Even I had to learn that. I’m 31 now & can’t keep blaming life on my experiences at 5 years old.

Book sounds extraordinary. Glad for Oprah that she had Gail in her life. Totally disagree with Drew that the interview with H&M will be life changing to the world in a positive way. All it contained was exaggerations and lies that put blame on the Royal Family that it didn't deserve. It was shocking and disgraceful to see Prince do this to his family. Those involved in that interview (and who support it) have lost much credibility in the eyes of the world.
