So am I.... Coming home from school to Oprah definitely changed my life in a Phenomenal way.
When they came in on that tight shot of Oprah recounting Maya's words of wisdom, "You have no idea what your legacy will be. Your legacy is *every* life you touch." I felt as if those words were spoken directly to my soul. I have been a high school teacher for over 20 years, and I never had children of my own, so I often think about what my legacy will be after I'm gone. Honestly, I want to have that sound bite in my phone so I can listen to it on the difficult days. Thank you, Drew, you're a beautiful soul! And congrats on your joyful show!
This is definitely true for a teacher, I had great teachers I remember fondly to this day. It's a pity I never got to tell them how much impact they had on me.

Last year, I suffered heartbreak twice. In early 2020 at a new Receptionist job in Central London, I felt anxious about that overly commercialised Valentines Day. I thought I had someone special, but he never saw me as that. Come the V-Day, I am surrounded by happy looking couples, and I felt so suicidal. I thought of about 5 places / methods to end it all. Instead, I bought a pack of 12 mini cupcakes, and distributed them to my favourite people in the office; people who had welcomed me, were supportive, and I felt comfy engaging with. It was one of the hardest things to do - transforming such pain, and making others smile for a moment.
Glad you were able to make it through that heartache. So great that you have kind co-workers! Stay well!

Yes, each one has to protect yourself because narcissist will attempt to turn everyone against you, therefore you have to protect yourself from trauma.

Invest in Bitcoin, gold, silver, buy stock, forex market. Anything! Just invest and save yourself.
Good talk! I tell that to my friends everyday. Saving is good investing is much better, I used to think saving money would save me but NO, saving is just keeping it to spend later.
