These two women saved my life, so when I got the notification this video was posted I almost cried. I have always related to pink and drew for their painful childhoods and unfortunately for addiction as well. "Little girl lost" was the first book that made me feel seen "Misunderstood" by P!nk was the first album that made me feel understood. I've tried to end it last year and ended up in the psych ward for a month. I'm trying to get clean now, I'm not yet but I'm working on it and this interview inspired me once again to go on and to be and do better. Thank you Drew and thank you P!nk for using your voice to save others.

Drew's book Little Girl Lost helped save my life when I was at my absolute bottom and wanted to end my life because I didn't see my life getting any better and I didn't know how to emerge from the dark pit of depression and self-loathing. That was in 1996 and I have been sober ever since. My life is so amazing today, and it can be for you too. I truly wish for you to know happiness and peace and be able to love yourself. Work for it, don't give up... because I am telling you it is worth it. Find at least one thing every day to be grateful for and life will begin to shift. Sending you love, light, and healing. May you know a new freedom and a new happiness. 💖🥰
I'm glad that Drew doesn't feel bad about her narrative. She shouldn't. Girl went through it and came out stronger and one of the most wonderful human beings alive today. Being honest with their kids about their histories and just the world in general is really just the best thing they can do. These kids will grow up knowing their parents aren't infallible but yet still powerful and amazing. Proving you can make mistakes and grow from them.

Drew was already great in this show and as a host, but lately I've been feeling that she is getting into her groove with those laidback, kick-off-your-shoes-interview. The insight that she brings from her past makes the guests relax a little more and gives a frank answer. It's also great that her past is full of wild experiences and memories which connects her to her guests. The interview is like we aren't there. Wonderful. Your question about being afraid your children will do what you did: My answer is to plan on it. If it doesn't occur you will be one of the few that it doesn't happen to. Fortunately you will have the experience to possibly see it before they tell you about using. It will save them the YEARS you did it. Honestly sweetie, don't be afraid. Just keep living the values you have now and you will be sober and clear minded enough to help them through.
