These little guys turned out so cute! The metallic inks were definitely a cool element to add. I honestly like how the vampire/three-eyed girl turned out. The color scheme is pretty nice, as well as the pose. I've been following the normal(?) Inktober prompt, and it's been going okay. Have to go back and finish a couple of the days (I say as it's only been like, a week-), but it's going a LOT smoother than last year.
As a cheerleader myself, these characters are so cute and the design is extremely close to a real cheerleader uniform! I wish our uniforms were as cute as these ones LOL!
Fun fact: Yesterday I rewatched Monsters University so this video came out at the perfect time! The first girl you drew could definitely be a character in it mainly cuz the eye on her uniform is the logo for Monsters University :)
I don’t want to come off as creepy, but if I was 13 years younger, I would totally have gone out with that cyclops girl she drew at the beginning. Spending lunch date after lunch date staring into that baby blue.

As a former cheerleader, I can confirm that hair bows are crucial to the uniform; if we forgot our bows, we weren’t allowed to participate in the game and we’d have to run two laps around the football field at our next practice in addition to our usual 4 laps (that’s one and a half miles). They’d make us wall sit and have the youngest walk across our thighs. And if you think you drew the bow too big, YOU DIDNT. Those things are MASSIVE.
I get very discouraged on how my art looks and when I come to your channel it makes me forget all about how it looks cause ur so positive and loving so thank you for that lysm 😊
i was the same way. we are way harder on ourselves then others in that way. I encourage you to focus on how much you enjoy the process rather then how something turns out and you'll be amazed at the results.

Ive got some ideas for character bios! 😊 (Get ready, I'm a writer and I love this kind of stuff 😅 Here we goooo!!) Cyclops girl: "Cind-eye Blinkerton." She's super popular, but also fairly down to earth and is friendly to everyone. Takes her studies just a bit too seriously! Her outfits are always on point. She collects fuzzy-topped pens and bubble gum, and is terrified of caterpillars and human movies. Zombie girl: "Dee Cay." Is actually the most positive, sunshiny one out of everybody! She LOVES to play pranks on her friends- especially pretending she's "lost" an arm or leg, only to pull it out and laugh, "Gotcha!" She likes stomping in mud puddles and digging for treasure. Her parents are ALWAYS buying her new shoes, but they never last long. (Despite what you might think, most zombies try to stay somewhat neat and tidy.) Vampire (3 eyed) girl: "Trinity Van der Faang." A can-do attitude and a team player. (Except when she clearly knows what the best move is.) If she wasn't taking violin lessons or etiquette classes, she'd be trying to beat her high scores at the arcade and taking hundreds of photos of her ghost dog. Alien girl: "Ali Anne Roswell." She'd consider herself a pretty ordinary girl- except her school just merged with...a human school?! Her old school was pretty small, so most of the other kids are human. And she reminded me of this cartoon that I had on VSH when I was little which were two skeleton friends who had a little skeleton dog and they were preparing a party or something (?). @@rhianna4752 yah but trendy doesn’t equate to healthy. I’m trying to say that this body positivity thing is promoting obesity which literally contradicts all modern health science. It’s dangerous and the result of letting failure, laziness, and gluttony be labeled as good. It’s not. Everyone complains about the food in America, but it’s really up to the person to decide what they eat. There are plenty of healthy and affordable options. And exercise and accessible to everyone, just take a goddam walk or run; body weight is also useful. I don’t want to hear about the special cases, most people can do these things, they just choose not to because they are weak and lack willpower. Also the average member of the public doesn’t actually think obese people are beautiful, it’s all a pity party.

This spread looks awesome! I am all about the spooky season and I am so happy that so many now appreciate that it's a whole month, not just the Halloween day/weekend 😁 My favourite one is the vampire girl before you added the pearlescent paint - from our angle all you could see was the gold colour shift of the paint which would have looked good if it was tiny details like the stripes on the uniform but looked kinda messy. It would be interesting to see it from your angle though to see how the redish hue looked as I think that would look great. That's the only problem with those colour shift/iridescent paints, you never know how they will look dry and in certain lighting. I have a few bottles of the Folkart Colour Shift paints and what I did was paint a spot on the lid so I can see the different colours and hues when the paint is dry before I choose to put it on my art pieces. If there isn't enough space on the lid then paint a dot of the colour onto a piece of paper and then tape it to the bottle. 😊
Ok, so I kinda got inspired by this because 1. Cute monster girls, and 2. They don’t have to be humanly proportionate. But I don’t wanna do cheerleaders because I’m not seeing inspiration from that. I have a couple ideas, but I’m not really sold on them, so any suggestions?
If you wanna stay in the sports realm, how about doing monster athletes. Like skeleton figure skaters, vampire skaters, sea monster gymnast. Just random pairings like that?
I get inspired whenever I watch your videos, and I decided to draw along with you on these prompts, except I’m not drawing cheerleaders. For Cyclops, I was inspired by this lovely animatic of the story of Polyphemus from the Odyssey to the song Nobody by Mitski, and I drew a buff cyclops lady in a cottagecore/by the sea dress with one of her sheep, she’s a sheep farmer and it turned out amazing for some reason? First time drawing a sheep and it was incredible!

I think the packaging was wrong and it was supposed to be holo. But, yes, what was written is "hay-low".
I thought so to because Holo is a reflect of the entire rainbow not just a shift of color which is what the "halo" paint was doing so I'm very unsure

@@randomjunk2131 Just because it's not trendy doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. It's not obese peoples fault that it's "trendy" to be a fucking stick figure. Once upon a time it was trendy to be fat it was a sign of being rich and desirable.
@@rhianna4752 yah but trendy doesn’t equate to healthy. I’m trying to say that this body positivity thing is promoting obesity which literally contradicts all modern health science. It’s dangerous and the result of letting failure, laziness, and gluttony be labeled as good. It’s not. Everyone complains about the food in America, but it’s really up to the person to decide what they eat. There are plenty of healthy and affordable options. And exercise and accessible to everyone, just take a goddam walk or run; body weight is also useful. I don’t want to hear about the special cases, most people can do these things, they just choose not to because they are weak and lack willpower. Also the average member of the public doesn’t actually think obese people are beautiful, it’s all a pity party.

This spread looks awesome! I am all about the spooky season and I am so happy that so many now appreciate that it's a whole month, not just the Halloween day/weekend 😁
My favourite one is the vampire girl before you added the pearlescent paint - from our angle all you could see was the gold colour shift of the paint which would have looked good if it was tiny details like the stripes on the uniform but looked kinda messy.
It would be interesting to see it from your angle though to see how the redish hue looked as I think that would look great. That's the only problem with those colour shift/iridescent paints, you never know how they will look dry and in certain lighting.
I have a few bottles of the Folkart Colour Shift paints and what I did was paint a spot on the lid so I can see the different colours and hues when the paint is dry before I choose to put it on my art pieces. If there isn't enough space on the lid then paint a dot of the colour onto a piece of paper and then tape it to the bottle. 😊
Ok, so I kinda got inspired by this because 1. Cute monster girls, and 2. They don’t have to be humanly proportionate. But I don’t wanna do cheerleaders because I’m not seeing inspiration from that. I have a couple ideas, but I’m not really sold on them, so any suggestions?
If you wanna stay in the sports realm, how about doing monster athletes. Like skeleton figure skaters, vampire skaters, sea monster gymnast. Just random pairings like that?

I get inspired whenever I watch your videos, and I decided to draw along with you on these prompts, except I’m not drawing cheerleaders. For Cyclops, I was inspired by this lovely animatic of the story of Polyphemus from the Odyssey to the song Nobody by Mitski, and I drew a buff cyclops lady in a cottagecore/by the sea dress with one of her sheep, she’s a sheep farmer and it turned out amazing for some reason? First time drawing a sheep and it was incredible!
