  • Taking my last ever flight on a British Airways Boeing 767, the aircraft that got me into aviation and without which inflight Video would not exist.
I took a flight from Zurich to London Heathrow in Club Europe to say goodbye one last time, and raise a toast to the aircraft that means so much to me personally.

The 767 will always be special to me. It was the first wide body aircraft I have been on. It was a Delta 767-300 painted In the SkyTeam livery. From Salt Lake City to Atlanta. It was a treat to be on a 767 on a domestic route. And my first ever flight I have been on was a Delta DC-9.

Fantastic video, I flew on a BA 767 to Baltimore a few years back and I have to say it is such a stunning aircraft to fly on. Always have a place in my heart. My first ever flight was on a Britannia 767-200 never looked back. Keep the videos coming.

Still remember my first (and last) BA 763 flight. It was 18th November 2016, on board flight BA1434 from Heathrow to Edinburgh. My seat was (if i remember correctly) 28A, with a pretty nice view over the wing. Still remember being stunned to see the parked Concorde G-BOAB as we were taxiing to 27L for takeoff (that was my first time seeing one in person, having been obsessed with it my whole life).
At that time, BA still offered complimentary meal services on these domestic flights, how times have changed!

Just something magical about a sunny, Central European afternoon... I spent 8 years living within a few km and working and going to school within a km of Frankfurt Intl. Airport, 2 years at Ramstein AB and 6 months at a U.S. operated resort (closed since the early to mid 90's) on Lake Chiemsee. Other than the heat, the days here in the Pacific Northwest are just gorgeous as well...
I am jealous, we quit flying long haul just as the 767 was rolling out. It has been all 737's, MD80's and smaller since hopping a Northwest Airlines (folded into Delta 20+ years ago) DC-10 from Frankfurt to Minneapolis through Bah-sten in 1990. I love flying and would LOVE to be able to do what you do, Noel...

Have only been on one BA 767 from LHR to Edinburgh. Nice flight - good service. The return on a BA 757 was 'interesting'. My co-travellers (work colleagues) let on to the stewardesses that it was my birthday and I had to be 'poured' off the aircraft at LHR. How on earth did I drive home without being breathalysed - taught me a valuable lesson!

In the beginning I was wondering why is that plane moving very fast on the taxi way then realized you had it on high speed. Silly me. Anyway my first time was in 2015 on American Airlines from JFK to LAX. I really like how the seat configuration was set up where there's only 2 seat on the window. Reason why is that me and my wife are the only one who flies and I like being in a window seat. It's a bit a of a inconvenience when there is a third seat and it's occupied. Great video. Maybe you should've lowered the volume of the music at the end. Had a hard time listening to what you're saying.

Do you ever get flight attendants or other passengers who get paranoid or freak out when they see your video equipment suctioned to the window? Do you have to tell the airlines ahead of time about what you do, to prevent such paranoia or questioning? People get all ruffled around cameras in other public places as it is, so I'm just wondering what you have to deal with in these high security areas and now that everyone's on such high alert after 9/11. I can see how some ignorant and paranoid person who knows nothing about camera equipment would flip their marbles seeing something attached to the window. Next time I fly, I'd be interested in having a similar setup to record the flight, but I'm so afraid of dealing with paranoid ignorant people and the inconvenience of potentially having to explain myself to no end.
