I’m saying, I’m only 28 but I spent my teen days and high school days working, and middle school I hung out with the wrong ppl, I wish I stuck with skating, and got good. Now I’m 28 and been skating 2 years, and even if it’s a hobby, I make it my goal to get good just for me, so I can tell my son “ hey mijo, look what pops can do”

Wow…I am 47 years old and skated from 1989-1992. We moved to a small town without paved roads and it was DEVASTATING. I never fully got back into it but I’ve been wanting to get a deck. This movie is so well done and the inclusion of the vast diversity has put a wonderfully emotional response that I didn’t expect. This made my day. Cheers and love to all skaters

I skated from 1988 to 2005 and to say it was the best years of my life would be a massive understatement. We Are Blood is probably the best skate video that has ever been made and I don't say that lightly. This video captured the entire culmination of skate culture in a way that has never been done before and not only did it bring me right back to that feeling of being in it but it actually explains the unspoken reason why skaters do what they do... This is a masterpiece and should be shown to the whole world.

At about 16:57… “skateboarders view the world in a very unique way & we can’t turn it off…” this is so true. I’m 42 & haven’t skated in about 15 years but when I’m out in public, I still find myself checking out benches, gaps, stair sets etc! I started skating when I was about 6 & I think the love for it will always stay with me 😊 thanks for uploading this video btw. I’m really enjoying it 👍

Crew are yearning or skating because of this film and are FEEELIN it 100%. Thankyou skateboarding. I'm going to be 40 this year. This brought back many many memories of skating back in the day with my friends. This movie definitely hit everything I wish I could have said back then how I felt about skateboarding.

I've seen a lot of skate videos over the last 25 years, but the quality of cinematography and storytelling in We Are Blood undoubtably make it one of the best. Massive shout out to the whole crew involved in this masterpiece!

Great video. I skated during the public domain era, and I miss being able to do this SO MUCH. I love that filming has gotten so much better, it's so fun to watch these guys hang out and have a blast. Doesn't matter if you are pro or not, we all shared the same experience of just all riding together with big smiles on our faces in the parking lot of banks, walmarts, malls, ditches, and where ever had something to grind or transition.
The "Skateboarding teaches people how to deal with pain" part is one of the most powerfull part in all skate videos history, it's so underrated yet so true and raw. I keep coming back to this specific part since this video dropped in 2015. 47:58
I have always love the show "Drive" with Mike Vallely. I would love to see Paul Rodrigues do a drive2 videos. Maybe in 10 years when Paul is in his 40's would be so awesome. The way Paul narrated this video is so perfect. Thank you skateboarding.

This was by far the very best skater film there is. I feel like Paul was speaking to my soul the entire time. I wish everybody on earth would skate, the world would be a much better place, over night... Skating is life, feels so freeing to ride and trick around. With the homies it's a million times better, sharing our experiences and being together I think is the actual meaning of life. Not exaggerating.

What a beautiful work of art. It's not just a fun little video about a recreational activity with a piece of wood and wheels, it's a showcase of many different parts of humanity, embracing this cold indifferent material, concrete, that our civilization has blanketed the land with, but for completely the opposite purposes of it's original intention, the ponderance of existence, what the point of life is, what expressing yourself and living your best life can be. It's about confronting danger and overcoming obstacles, it's about finding a sense of community amongst the people that make you feel at home, it's about combining the mediums of film and music and skateboarding to present something as much more than the sum of its parts, about expressing different emotions and feelings we all feel as fellow humans... shock, fear, flow, fun, intensity, chillness, anger, regret, hopefulness, resilience, perseverance, victory, happiness, zen, the search for tomorrow... never stop chasing your dreams

After a few months of just rolling around with my kids to my surprise I've gotten a lot of my flip tricks back, actually feel ashamed I for turning my back on the board and I now have an appreciation and respect for skating I don't think I ever truly had ❤

The Rom is a Grade II listed skatepark in Hornchurch, East London, England. Built in 1978 and designed by Adrian Rolf of G-Force, it’s the most completely preserved purpose-built skatepark in England. It’s the first skatepark in Europe to achieve listed status and the second such structure worldwide. Worth visiting.👍🏻
