  • When we stepped into @jimmysfamousheros, the owner Victor was on his hands and knees scrubbing the floor. He is the driving force keeping the traditions alive at Jimmy’s, a staple of the Sheepshead Bay community since the 1940’s.
Now 62, Victor has worked at Jimmy’s since he was 15 years old, eventually taking over the operations when the original owners Jimmy and Margaret retired. Victor wears every hat from chef to janitor with equal parts pride and passion.
In a world where shortcuts are often the norm, Victor’s commitment to quality and love for the community is why Jimmy’s has stood the test of time.
