Elvis was the greatest performer ever. Just see the 68 comeback special. He was the best looking man on the planet with the best voice and delivery. That show in 68 was a time capsule moment.

Why did he always curse Gods name in vain? One of the 10 commandments was (Thou SHALL Not Take The Lord Thy GODS NAME IN VAIN ) Listen to the outtakes.Every time he missed a word he would curse Gods name! I only hope he asked God’s forgiveness in his bathroom! God gave him a gift that was heard around the world! How Great Thou Art!!! I’m not judging him! God will judge us all!

I wish this was a bit longer with an ending that’s the truth but also how he suffered physically and had to take these drugs to endure the constant performances and all the stress on him. He suffered painful ailments from childhood. He certainly was a dichotomy with faults like any man. But he was such an exceptional talent. He left us passion, emotional and inspirational music. It was his unique voice no doubt. But he was so emotive when he sang he’d grab onto your soul and didn’t let go until you were feeling his passion. The song would end and you’d have tears running down your face and you wouldn’t even know why. He was a great soul singer. That’s what all the successful black singers said about him. His singing could get you out of a funk or depression and other times he’d sing so sadly and songs that were so maudlin he’d put you in a heavy mood. You really listen to some of Elvis’s not well known music and when he’s done one has to blink their eyes several times as if your in a trance & to come back to reality was hard. Known around the world by his first name only is amazing. Coming up is 46 yrs after his death & he’d be 88. I don’t think Elvis would have done well growing old. He was so charismatic, gorgeous looking according to all that met him. Even the men and a sex symbol that would have been hard to live up to. His laugh started from his toes and was so contagious & he always wanted a challenge. He once quoted “ happiness is someone to love, something to look forward to and something to do”. He pretty much tried it all and I think he was proud of his image “Elvis Presley” but I think he had his insecurities, anxiety, shyness and introverted off stage & yet like so many artists, once on stage, his whole persona changed. The stories of his generosity are legendary and most were anonymous until he died. Frequently I just heard an interview from 2 fans who’s father passed and they didn’t have the money to fly him home. Elvis had him flown, paid all expenses of the funeral. These sisters are now in their 80’s & were crying still at his kindness. He gave and gave until he ran out of money and still gave. Last 500 dollars in his pocket at the airport he gave to a soldier coming home he started talking to. Elvis gave him all the money in his wallet & Jerry Schilling told him they’d have no money to go anywhere, even back home & Elvis said give me all you’ve got. They gave him 500 dollars to buy his children Christmas gifts and food etc. Elvis told Jerry, we’ll have a Christmas & this man might have not come home for Christmas fighting a war that was killing our soldiers. There are soo many stories like this plus his normal philanthropic charities. For the short time the world knew him, he lived an exciting, yet fulfilling life then most of us who live to 80. Talented? Definitely 👍🏻 Yes. Unique ability to allow his listeners to hear what was in his soul. Was he lonely for some reason even in a crowd? Yes, but was it the loss of his twin at birth & what’s known today of the twin less twin syndrome that these kids suffer throughout their lives. Read about it. It’s very interesting. All I really know is he’s missed so deeply and loved by so many that never met him, that is a very special man. Even Austin Butler stated “ he’s the only person in my life I learned to love and I never met him”. Thanks for the video. Great job 👏 👏👏❤️❤️🎸🕺🏻🎸🕺🏻🎤🎤😁 Sorry I wrote so long but your video stirred up a lot of feelings for some reason. Maybe it’s just getting to be that time of year in which people are already writing stuff on his passing and with Lisa Marie gone too, it’s all just too sad. God bless. 🙏🏼🙏🏼😇

Some people don’t care and never did what this man had to do, what he sacrificed for his fans, his music, his family, but mostly himself, all they cared about was what they could get out of him financially.
People today are still making money off of Elvis’s name, not only from the good he had done, but by their lies and fantasies. These are the ones that claimed to love Elvis but, through jealousy wants to destroy his image almost fifty years later, thinking they should have been the one in the spotlight and not him. These are the twisted minds that don’t care who they destroy or hurt in their path to revenge, and/or money.
Although these pieces of filth are getting away with it now, (they know who they are) upon their death will be delivered to hell, and I pray Elvis sits with god watching them suffer the pains in hell they put Elvis and his daughter thru in life.
We all choose our path in life and decide whether we want to do good or evil, I could never imagine turning on others for money or for any other reason. I know Lisa Marie and Benjamin are with Elvis, watching over Lisa Marie’s remaining children and praying for their safety and happiness in this messed up world.

No you are not taking it too far. Elvis was definitely a human being born of a man and a woman, but I also believe he had some kind of divine qualities, which are only now being recognised. There is a book called "Elvis People, The cult of the King" by Ted Harrison, published in 1992, in which he writes about the evidence that Elvis was chosen for a purpose on earth by a higher power. How many times have we read that Elvis himself searched for an answer on his existence and purpose at this point of time in history?

I knew Michael Lockwood before he met Lisa. Then years later he met Lisa and they got married and had two children. I became close to Lisa and especially after her divorce from Michael. She was an emotional wreck and I knew just how to keep her happy with stupid immature childish jokes.

I don't think you get it. Elvis had a possibly unequaled anointing for gospel music directly from God Almighty, but as he fell from grace he kept his anointing but other things fell apart. You can't join astrology numerology and the occult with an anointing from God Almighty, you can't server two masters.

Sonny's take on Elvis must always be taken with a lot of skepticism. After Elvis' untimely death, he tried to repackage his book, 'Elvis, What Happened?' as an attempt to save Elvis from himself rather than a hatchet job by an admittedly bitter ex-employee looking for revenge.

He had a love of music he grew up with and not as you put it " deep affinity to Afro American music". Music is something shared and enjoyed by all ... doesn't belong to a certain group of people. Music draws from all sorts of influences. So inaccurate and outdated these comments on his music...I actually find a lot of this disrespectful to his memory and robotic. To be honest this is a very negative take on his life and from some of the comments from people whose actions did no favours to this beautiful man...his life was in the blessed hands of God. A very precious soul who remains very loved and adored. Forever cherished in my heart 🙏🌹...❤️❤️❤️

In the United States, England, Russia, China, Korea yes, Elvis was very well known. But, nobody is more famous then his good friend Muhammad Ali. Elvis is t well known in Africa but they sure heard and actually saw Ali there when he fought George Foreman and recapturing his World Heavyweight title. Love em both !

People (45 years after he's gone) still call Elvis King of Rock'n roll, but he did not like that title, he considerd that the only King was God and he actually told his fans this several times, but I consider him to be the King and not only of Rock'n roll, he is the King of Music, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a Music King?
Elvis was really in my mind, the King of GOSPEL and other music, no one does it better then him, he is best known for making Rockn roll famous, so he was called The King of Rockn roll, but he never liked that people called him that...
He actually several times stoped Fans that said that he was the King of Rock'n roll, he said:
I'm just an entertainer and singer, God is the only true King!!
He was born in the poor parts of Tupelo Missisippi and it was mainly Afroamericans living there, at the same place as Elvis family lived there lived 3 more white familys, the rest was colored people, his family was dirtpoor until he became an artist after singing in a mainly black church during his childhood...
Did you know that he had several friends that where Afroamerican, one of his friends was James Brown, yes THAT James Brown the King of Soul, another artist was B.B King, yes that B.B King...
He also was friends with Mohamed Ali, yes the GREATEST boxer of all time, he even had a Robe made for him, but it was to much bling on it so Ali wouldn't where it more then one time to a fight...
He really admired Martin Luther King very much, he felt that all people are equal, unfortually he never got to meet him, that would have created to much problems for both of them at that time.
He had several medical problems, Glaucoma, problems sleeping, problems with irritable bowel syndrome, things that affected his real life and made him need medication to function.
Yes, he took medicines that today are considered to be called drugs, but at that time doctors prescribed it to him and to ordinary people, they did not know of the problems it could give people (side effects).
He never took any so-called street drugs, but unfortunately he did not realize that those medications would be a problem for him, he thought it was ordinary medicine because his doctor prescribed it to him and to everyone who needed it.
In his family, people died at a relatively young age, so even if he did not have the medication, he might have died at about the same age.
He could never be alone and thus himself, at that time there was no word superstar, so nothing could prepare him for that kind of life.
Did you know that a big group of white poeple actually smashed his records and wanted to ban his music, just because they called it so called N... music, that is so painfun to think that some people actually can think like that, skincolor is just color and nothing more, when will people realise that?
Here are some of his Gospel songs:
Amazing Graze, Take me home precious lord, How great though art, How great thou art acapella: (I found this version: ruclips.net/video/Be5y0rMBIFI/видео.html) You'll never walk alone, You gave me a mountin, Crying in the chapel, Why me Lord (written by Kris Kristofferson), Unchained melody, I'm not sure if it's a gospel song but Walk a mile in my shoes and many more, he also made several Christmas songs, also some type of Blues songs...
    .
If you prefer ballad songs then look at these:
My Way, Suspicius minds, In the Ghetto (written by Mac Davies), Memories (written by Mac Davies), If I can dream that is a tribute (parts of it is taken directly from the I can dream speach by MLK) to Martin Luther King JR and senator Robert Kennedy, What now my love, Walk a mile in my shoes (listen to the words in the beginning), Welcome to my world, Make The World Go Away, Bridge Over Troubled Water, An American Thrillergy, Hurt, Sweet Caroline, Just Pretend, What now my love, Are you lonesome tonight (laughing versin, or not), Oh Danny Boy (for you Irish people), a song that many might not know that he sung it is this one Yellow rose of Texas, I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water, well remember that he sang over 700 songs, yes most of them Covers, but that made the artists that he coverd more popular and they also got some money from it...
There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time !!
He is the only person to have 2 records gone to sell Gold and 2 to to sell Platinum since he died.
Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of), no one else is in more then perhaps 2.
Not bad for someone who never took a single singing lesson, yes he sang in church so perhaps he learned a little there, right?
    .
Something else that people tend to overlook:
He always conducts his musicans and backup singers, he never gets credit for being able to do that...
Then imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure?
At the time when Elvis started Autotune did not exist and when it became availible, then he still did not use it, he did not need to, he also always sang so you could hear every word that he sang, the Fans always felt that he sang to just you !!!
That is what Elvis did in over 1600 concerts, despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy...
He sang over 800 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples songs, well that in it self is amazing in it self...
By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting !!
This unfortually made him temporary blind after the shows, that is why they led him of the stage and into his car, that is something that not many people knew about Elvis.
Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right?
About the deep basevoice JD Sumner (a member of The Stamps Quartet) he is the Basso Profundo, I think it's called that, it is the deepest base singer there is...
About him helping others, look at this: ruclips.net/video/CrJ1c9tm-C0/видео.html
Elvis made a show where all the money went to build the Memorial after Pearl Harbour, he talked to the nations about taking the Poliovaccin, Elvis took the first injection himself and he helped to start St Jude hospital against cancer, he also gave away juwelery, gave away cars, gave away houses to total strangers...
He also have a own organisation that helps people get out of Homelessness (Presley Charitable Foundation)...
A thing that perhaps you did not know: Elvis NEVER had a show OUTSIDE OF USA, well he did sing once in Canada (I think it was in Ottowa) !!!
Video of Mohammad Ali speech after Elvis died:
    ruclips.net/video/PO8Kq_3KTyI/видео.html
I have to say that I loved being at Graceland and seeing his home, first we were at the house in Tupelo where he lived in his early years, he was born there!!!
You don't have a guide taking you on a tour, you can go all over yourself, but stay outside of the ropes and do not attempt to go upstairs, the outside is huge, so is the house, but you don't realise that from the front of the house...
I don't regret for a second that I was there, or that I stood at his grave site and said out loud that this is for the humanitarian Elvis/person/man and then I gave him a military salute, the others there just looked at me and asked if I didn't like his music.
So I told them that he was clearly one of the best singers and artists ever, but I loved his big heart more, he helped so many people without getting credit for it, he didn't want the credit of helping others, he did it out of love and respect and to me that is what true charity is all about…
This PLACE (GRACELAND) should be a protected part of music history and also American history forever, I think that people will keep coming for years and years and years to come !!
Elvis did lots of things for America to, he helped to avoid getting Polio (he took the vaccin in a tv show that made the intrest for taking the vaccin go from 0,6 % to 80 % in 6 months), he helped in the figth to defeat Cancer with helping to build St Judes children cancer treatment clinic, he helped to build the Memorial over Pearl Harbour and many other things !!!
He also have a own organisation that helps people get out of Homelessness (Presley Charitable Foundation)...

      Der Platz hier reicht nicht, um Elvis zu beschreiben;
Ich verehre und liebe ihn und es tut mir weh, dass er so viel leiden mußte....
Wenn er doch sehen könnte, was er geschaffen hat...RiF ❤
