    Elvis had a good reason to lose his temper or be angry at times, these guys the MM that worked for him love to make themselves out as angels when we all know they weren't, fecking hangers onners, Elvis did everything for them, looked after them like no other, and they would write a book or say anything in a video/docu just for a quick dollar, give me a break

      @@thomasandersen2938 Exactly. This has to do w-a person's individual temperament & makeup & character. There's' deep rooted psychology that goes into this kind of temper -- it may get set off by an incident or someone saying something that upsets you -- but the rage is another issue.

    Wrong title. He had a temper, a bad temper when pushed, like everybody else, but it wasn't a short temper, otherwise he'd be snapping at people all the time. I didn't know Elvis, of course, but I've read enough to know it wasn't a short temper.

    • @phoenixmodellingphotography
      @phoenixmodellingphotography Год назад +20

      Exactly, we take it out on the ones we love the most during our weakest and most insecure moments. That's why it's so important for people to abandon their loved one and go no contact if they have a pattern of inflicting this kind of behaviour on you. Even though it'll be extremely difficult and you'll feel very guilty, you're actually showing them love by teaching real consequences for their abuse, only then maybe they can be part of your life again. Too many people put up with it and sacrifice their mental health just because they're scared of feeling guilty

      Elvis stopped being the sugar daddy of David Hebler, Red and Sonny West because Vernon wanted to economize and those three caused expensive lawsuits by mistreating Elvis' fans. They were parasites that abused Elvis' generosity and friendship plus his female fans and profited from his contacts to get extra jobs in movies Elvis played in. Elvis paid for their livelihood and solved all their problems. They didn't want to be responsible for themselves, develop their own identity but made Elvis responsible for their lives even after he died. They proved to be toxic people when they published the tell-all book about Elvis out of revenge for their dismissal. Elvis Presley was too kind to the MM-members and most of the people around him. He invited people to take advantage of him and attracted toxic men and women like Priscilla and Linda.

    That's not the story regarding Christina - according to the story by Joe Esposito:
    "Christina Crawford, the adopted daughter of Joan Crawford, paid Elvis a visit. The group was scattered, and I found myself in the TV room seated across a large coffee table from Elvis and Christina watching "Bonanza," one of the few shows in color then. Elvis had been puffing on a cigar making small talk with me as Christina tickled him and kidded around, apparently seeking more direct attention.
    Suddenly, she slung the contents of her cocktail glass right into Elvis's face. We're talking close range here, folks. The cigar went "phhhtttt" and he jumped up. I leapt up in surprise. He grabbed her by the hair; "Get this bitch out of here!" he screamed." Dragging her across the marble coffee table, kicking her in the butt and led her toward the front door as she struggled to keep up with the rather quick pace as he was pulling her locks. In just a few moments, a disheveled Elvis returned to the TV lounge, telling me apologetically, "Man, I'm sorry, I wasn't raised to treat a woman like that. She's crazy...I don't know what's wrong with her."

      There's also a version by Esposito which is different -- the other Esposito version leaves out the "Bonanza" TV part of it, also how could she have tickled Elvis if she was "across the table from him;" (something Esposito never said in the version I saw); & never a mention of slinging her cocktail glass into Elvis' face in the version I saw; thee version I refer to was just due to not wanting Esposito light the cigar & nothing more at all. But then, Esposito never could be trusted when it came to relating stories or incidents -- he even said in a different video that Elvis drank -- I don't care if he knew or lived w-Elvis for 20 yrs. or 100 yrs. -- he was full of crap w-contradicting stories coming out of all sides. At any rate, these are the kind of stories that should remain behind closed doors -- is there a point in telling the whole world something like this; did Esposito have something to gain.

If that were me and I was in her position, I would have yanked that cigar out of his mouth, threw it back at him and said light your own Dang cigar. That is most likely when a fight would break out, or Elvis would try to avoid it. I would’ve looked at his friend slapped the lighter and cigar out of his hand and said that man’s lighting is on cigar, you’re not doing it for him. And I would’ve told Elvis to pick it up, pick up your lighter and light your own dang cigar you fat worthless piece of crap. I probably would’ve yelled at him telling him to light it. Then if I had seen him light at his own self, I would have said, there you see was that hard?
