If Garcia had pitched all year like he pitched in that game against the Brewers, we might have won the Division again this year. But we lost because our pitching has been woeful at times. Hopefully, better next year.
Garcia hasn't been signed yet. Weaver will stay in the minors. Trade Wacha and Peralta for a center fielder and sign a first baseman. Starting rotation will go 1. Martinez 2. Wainwright 3. Lynn 4. We ran into some bad luck, controversial calls from the umpires, and injuries a plenty. But, the Red Birds never gave up and ended the season with a sweep. Not many of the playoff teams can say that. I had fun watching them this year, and I'm looking forward to next year. They're gonna see red.
