And nearly 20 years to the day after his father uttered it in the 1991 World Series, a great matchup between the Braves and Twins, after Kirby homered in the 10th. I think it was 20 years and 1 day to be exact
What. A. Series. This series made me so damn proud to be a cardinals fan. I had the honor to be at the game where Beltran threw a gene saving toss from the outfield. There is no game you will ever be at that compares to the feeling of a tight game in a World Series. There is just nothin like it at all
Since I’m generally an unbiased baseball fan, I’d usually root for the team that hadn’t won a World Series in awhile unless they had a player I didn’t like. So by that logic I would’ve rooted for the Rangers but I just couldn’t help but root for that 2011 Cardinals team. In game 6 of that WS, Joe Buck said “They just won’t go away”. That was 100% true, not only were they down to their final strike in that game but they were 10.5 games back from the Braves in the Wild Card that year at one point and eventually came back. That Cards team was such a fun one to watch, one of my favorites as a baseball fan.
Man I swear Allen Craig was so clutch for us!!! People forget the major huge hits that he had in this series. So many guys stepped up man it was just so cool.
Remember coming home and watching this. My dad was listening to Shannon in the truck and I was in the living room with my dog. One of the greatest memories I have with my late boxer, Jack.
I mean, I'm an A's/Giants fan and I dislike STL because they are so annoying by always being in the mix of World Series contenders and I wanted Milwaukee or Detroit to win the World Series, but this World Series and postseason were both lit and I wanted the Cardinals to beat the Rangers since I dislike the Rangers more.
Just one of those moments in all of baseball where you just have to sit there and go “wow. Baseball is unpredictable” as a Cardinal fan I give a tip of the hat to the Rangers cause this was easily one of the greatest games of all time. I got the honor of going to game 1 and watching. Once you go to your favorite teams World Series, you realize there is no moment in baseball that gives you that adrenaline rush. It’s just amazing and an experience that I will never forget
It got me when he said "They just wont Go. Away." I was at my friends when I saw this and let me tell you, that night didnt end. It was the most amazing comeback and every day in baseball season I have been watching this because I am a damn proud Cardinal and this gets me so hype. This video reminds me even in our losing wildcard race that WE WONT GO AWAY
I was in college, in a class and my professor let me listen to this game six with headphones. This is the first time I have seen how crazy it was. Amazing.
I remember this like it was yesterday, the whole run was epic. At some point of this game I thought it was over, I tried to stop watching but couldn't, and then the magic happened. The best game ever, the best sport ever, I still get chills and get nervous. I will forever be a Cardinals baseball fan.
Man its 2024 and im a 37 yrs old man and this still gives me chills!! Liteally goosebumps!!! Add people better watch out because the 2024 Cardinals ARE COMING!!!! IT'S BEEN AWHILE!!! Tell me GRAY LYNN GIBSON AND Mikolas woukdnt be suoer dangerous in the playoffs if things stay going well. Besides mikolas having a bad year in 2023 and at the beginning of this year, He's back to having really good Starts. These are veterans and even lance and kyle have both been keeping that era under 4.00 Lance is over 4 right now but he's been under 4 the whole season up until his last start. Gibson has been better than we could have imagined.. Listen to me. If this team gets in the playoffs, These veterans can run shit. They know how to pitch!! Even steve matz had like 15 good starts in a row where he only allowed three or fewer runs in every Start but then he got injured. He's coming back now and the Brewers are on borrowed time. First place will be ours!!! Just remember the comment. If the Cardinals get in the playoffs they're going to be fkn trouble!! If you know how this game goes then you know what I'm talking about.. Veteran pitchers throwing the ball well van go a looooong way!! Just look out in october, Thats all im sayy!! 😊
Greatest game I ever saw. Big Cards fan here, but nearly wept upon seeing Wash. Loved him & Rangers, too. Something tells me the Astros are going to give Texas their first WS championship - and soon. Rangers did well this year & I bet they will be back.
this game drove Josh Hamilton to start drinking he had quit for like 10 years and Napoli said he still has nightmires. this game scarred souls. Whoever says 2016 Game 7 is better is a cancer to society.
Niles Jackson Im a cards fan, and i say that it was one of the best world series ever. I hate the Cubs with every bit in my heart. The series was good but the ending wasnt. #FuckTheCubs
Lifelong Cards fan here. 2016 G7 was pretty epic, there's really no debating that. I do think this game was better, and not just cuz it's my team - the back and forth slugfest, the multi-run lead changes in back-to-back do-or-die innings, then the walk off from the hometown kid, I mean, seriously, who writes this shit? The difference is that 2016 G7 would have been an exciting game even in the regular season (think back to the Cards/Cubs Sandburg/McGee game), but 2011 G6 would have been totally unbelievable even in spring training. It was incredible as a standalone game, and was played under incredible circumstances. I would imagine that this debate will go on and on through the years, and deservedly so, particularly because of the century-long Cards/Cubs rivalry, but that's my 2 cents on the topic.
Also, I wish the Cubs hate would stop. I'm a Cards fan for life but I love the Cubs. The rivalry is wonderful and friendly and in my view better for the game than the shit talking that comes out of the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry - those two teams fans are loud mouth, bandwagoning assholes for the most part. I find both Cards and Cubs fans to be quite dedicated, as well as knowledgeable about the game and at least their teams history, if not many teams histories.
To this day, that World Series is the most beard ripping jittery series I've ever watched. I was at what I think was the second game and it was just...damn. You've never seen true baseball until you've gone to a World Series game. This game I was at my friends house and the first words that came out of my mouth were "this is gonna be a gun fight" when the cards won...man I was up all night celebrating. Times like these is why I'm damn proud to be a cardinal
I remember sitting here on my couch in stl watching that game Six walk off and watching the final out with my mom or game 7 great times what a team in 2011
The 11 runners LOB for each team really tells the story, think about 11x in this game, outside of the times they already scored run & big time homeruns, that you were probably on the edge of your seat thinking the worst or having a heat attack & in The end we have extra innings with a walk-off homer in. I mean what could be better than to have so much ups n downs, lead changes, homeruns, last pitch/outs hits and walk off. Berkman was the true underrated hero of this game
I had been working on the road for my first steady job out of college for over half a year. That night I was at my parents home gathering anything worth moving permanently from central Illinois to Michigan the next day. We were all so stressed trying to get things packed and ready for the next day. My dad and I were arguing over something that 9th inning when Freese hit that triple. We all stopped and watched the rest of the game. We were celebrating so hard, jumping and screaming. The rest of the night, our packing was more efficient than Mary Poppins. Moved into my apartment the next day and we watched them win it in Michigan. I do feel bad for Texan fans though.
The lead-up to this was even sweeter. I can't believe you didn't make a documentary about us being 12 games back to start September and then riding it to the final game of the season. Getting in on the last day, And then going all the way.
I will never forget this game. This was the series winner. The Rangers had no chance at game 7. We ripped the Ranger's sail down and burned the boat this night.
Just sad I was only 6 when it happened. I'd give anything to live through the '90s and '00s as the more serious baseball fan I am now and to actually have clear memories of it all
Its 10 years later, and I still choke up when I hear, "We will see you tomorrow night "......I watch this clip whenever I need to charge my baseball battery....there will NEVER be a WS like game 6 of 2011, unless the Cards are playing
Bro I saw this shit live and watch it now 7 freakin years later still makes me so nervous because I still cannot believe it happened. I still feel like they are going to lose.
Nelson Cruz should never taken the field in the 9th. Ron Washington seriously needed to make a defensive replacement. Cruz clutzed that triple, which any decent RFer would have caught. I thank Ron Washington. I thank Nelson Cruz for not working on his defense. I was stunned. A TRIPLE with 2 outs in the 9th. Nobody imagines a triple. Homers, yes. A triple. Geez Louise.
+Zunkfunkt Media I'm a big cards fan living in St.Louis but my question is what if they didn't walk Pujols in the 11th since the 9th inning was his only hit that was not a home run up to that moment
It may make since given his WS numbers. But it would have been career suicide to make that call if he dropped a bomb that ended the game. He was the best hitter of his generation, and arguably top 5 all time.
Here are the 3 Call's From Game 6. Mike Shannon "Freese Tie This Game in the Bottom of the 9th with a 2 Run Triple" Gary Thorne "3 Ball 2 Strike Count." (Bat Sacks the Ball) Gary Thorne Again "In the Air the Center! Has He Done it? WAY BACK..." Dan Shulman "IT IS GONE!" Another Gary Thorne "HELLO GAME 7! AN UNBELIEVABLE WIN! For The St Louis Cardinals!" And Joe Buck Too. "We Will See You Tomorrow Night!"
Incase you guys weren't listening, there's alot of words in this video but the most important are of course the infamous "We will see you tomorrow night".. BOOM YEAAAAAAAAA
I will never witness a World Series as EPIC as this again in my life..... "man the 2011 Cardinals....what a fucking ride!"
I know right!!!
RedHannya Agree I Was 12
The greatest World Series game I will ever watch.
Lots of people don't care for buck but those words..."We will see you tomorrow night." Passed down the line, it gave me chills when he said it.
And nearly 20 years to the day after his father uttered it in the 1991 World Series, a great matchup between the Braves and Twins, after Kirby homered in the 10th. I think it was 20 years and 1 day to be exact
I wish he would have said a different phrase from his dad … “I don’t believe what I just saw!”
One of the greatest games ever played
Best. Baseball. Game. Ever. Played.
better than the 1960 world series game 7
+Kevin D my Dad told me about that Pirates World Series. He said that was pretty awesome.
+Michael Youngstrom I know
snowd5154 no just nooo
snowd5154 its not better than this one...
Nobody really ever talks about how clutch berkman was
Exactly! Freese was obviously unreal but without Berkman the game is long gone. He had the homeruns, timely hits in 9th & 11th... in real game for him
I always thought berkman should have won mvp
MANCHESTER UNITED F.C soccer is for pussies
Even more so with Allen Craig. He's one of the biggest unsung heroes from that series
Berkman tore up the Cardinals for years. Glad he was with the good guys for this run.
What. A. Series. This series made me so damn proud to be a cardinals fan. I had the honor to be at the game where Beltran threw a gene saving toss from the outfield. There is no game you will ever be at that compares to the feeling of a tight game in a World Series. There is just nothin like it at all
Man I got goosebumps
I remember watching that and then next day everyone at school was talking about it
The 2011 world series was easily the best world series in baeball history, can anyone else agree?
DNA SwagLord fuck you mean😂 this doesn't come close to 2001
Over 9000 It was good but this year or 01 might take the cake. Still my favorite to watch to this date.
Ice Pack yes it does and it's actually a better world series than 2001
are you kidding me? no other world series' or even ws game comes CLOSE to this one.
1991 was a great one too.
greatest game of all time, without a doubt
Since I’m generally an unbiased baseball fan, I’d usually root for the team that hadn’t won a World Series in awhile unless they had a player I didn’t like. Whenever l'm feeling down, I just pop in this DVD.
Liberals are Icky YES
Same here.....till this day ....I play this at least 2X/month....for last 10 years
Glad to see Berkman got a world series ring.
Man I swear Allen Craig was so clutch for us!!! People forget the major huge hits that he had in this series.
So many guys stepped up man it was just so cool.

Being a yankee’s fan.. this is the greatest game I’ve ever seen
Glad everyone has enjoyed this. My favorite baseball video 🙏
+iamOG bobby I always watch this vid once or twice a month to remind me how badass Cards are.. Hoping for a good year this 2015!!
+Lerie STL Go Cards!
Bobby Johnson Thanks Bobby! Dare I say greatest non clinching world series game ever.
Nice man, I'm just watching this to remember all the awesome moments of the 2011 MLB Postseason as a baseball fan!
Greatest Season in Baseball History: 2011

That was actually Albert.
michael baker no it wasn’t Albert said LETS GO 😂
I was in college, in a class and my professor let me listen to this game six with headphones. This is the first time I have seen how crazy it was. Amazing.
I truly cannot wait to get back in the NLCS or the World series. St Louis is Baseball heaven there's nothing like it!!
I was at this game! I believe I got to witness the greatest world series game ever. How about them Cardinals!
That 2011 victory, was when Tony LaRissa was the Cardinal manager!
1:23 Foreshadowing.
I saw it too lol
my thoughts exactly 😂
Yesssss 😂
Wow!
I remember this like it was yesterday, the whole run was epic. At some point of this game I thought it was over, I tried to stop watching but couldn't, and then the magic happened. "Just keep doing what you're doing, David. " Bless you, Big Mac!
I remember I was 15 years old sitting at home with my dad staying up late on a school night to watch this game. Best game ever!

I always come back every year to watch this game!
Greatest game I ever saw. Big Cards fan here, but nearly wept upon seeing Wash. Loved him & Rangers, too. Something tells me the Astros are going to give Texas their first WS championship - and soon. Rangers did well this year & I bet they will be back.
actually rangers have best record in AL right now so I think the Rangers are
and there it is

One word: Beautiful. GO REDBIRDS!
I loved this World Series, and I still remember watching that game 6
me to
for me this is the greatest most exciting world series game ever. my heart goes out to ranger fans my heart was broken in. 2002 but this
My heart was lifted in 2002 , its was like this
To this day, that World Series is the most beard ripping jittery series I've ever watched. I was at what I think was the second game and it was just...damn. This series made me so proud to be a Cardinals fan. Also, it's crazy how loaded that Rangers team was yet they never won a ring.
They won it all in 2023. Im a cardinal fan and I honestly was rooting for the rangers last year.
Welp, today is the day to come back to this glorious video.
“We will see you, tomorrow night!” gave me chills and goosebumps.. one of the greatest World Series ever played
I remember sitting here on my couch in stl watching that game Six walk off and watching the final out with my mom or game 7 great times what a team in 2011

I had been working on the road for my first steady job out of college for over half a year. that was the best world series in cardinals history
that was the second world series in Rangers history
2011 was the best baseball season ever. Who agrees?
This gave me chills
The lead-up to this was even sweeter. I can't believe you didn't make a documentary about us being 12 games back to start September and then riding it to the final game of the season. Getting in on the last day, And then going all the way.
My favorite Cards series since becoming a fan in 1998.
Game 6 took a few yrs of my life;-) Oh, but how sweet it was was!
It was strange, stupid but it was the best WS in history.
Dalton Austin 2016 was boring af
"lets get it done tonight" lmfao
I always thought that Freese's triple was epic, but this video just made it even more so
"to the left of a diving punto" lmao
OG of all those greatest games in baseball history.
I will never forget this game. This was the series winner. The Rangers had no chance at game 7. We ripped the Ranger's sail down and burned the boat this night.
Best Video Ever. Cards 4 Life
i got chills
Great job putting this video together
Yep, still a fan of Mark McGwire. Will be till the day i die. I still remember him and Sosa's battle for the record!
Just sad I was only 6 when it happened. I'd give anything to live through the '90s and '00s as the more serious baseball fan I am now and to actually have clear memories of it all
I was 4 and I’m sad I didn’t get to see it and go through the emotions
as a giant fan this game is unbelievable it just doesn't seem real
As a cardnials fan i personally think that the giant fans are probally the nicest to the cardinals organization
Its 10 years later, and I still choke up when I hear, "We will see you tomorrow night "......I watch this clip whenever I need to charge my baseball battery....there will NEVER be a WS like game 6 of 2011, unless the Cards are playing
I love how they show Cruz not quite reaching a fly ball at BP, foreshadows big time
Send this to all the cubs fans you know
I remember watching this and the whole city was screaming.
"They just won't go away." Chills!!
Oh the goosebumps...
Back In 2011 I Watched Game 6 Of the World Series On FOX 31 Denver.
That Was A Bizzare Finish!
The Cardiac Cardinals kept you on the edge of your seats.
Amazing!!
Greatest game ever played
Love baseball it's the best and so are the cardinals
Loved the vid go cards!
Best game ever
Bro I saw this shit live and watch it now 7 freakin years later still makes me so nervous because I still cannot believe it happened. I still feel like they are going to lose.
Won't be another game like that in a very very long time.
Best memories of my life October 2011 lol
Greatest World Series Ever!!!!
A triple. Geez Louise.
greatest World Series ever
I Remember Jumping For Joy When The Cards Won The World Series #STL
Awesome stuff starts at 7:00
Trick Shot awesomeness 7:16
Seriously what is the music in the last few frames where David Freeze hits that's walkoff home run?
What if Cruz plated it off the wall instead of trying to catch it.
+Christian Bowles Pujols and Berkman still would have scored easily? 2 outs they're running on contact and that ball hung up there a while.
+Christian Bowles Pujols and berkman score, freese gets a double
+Zunkfunkt Media I'm a big cards fan living in St.Louis but my question is what if they didn't walk Pujols in the 11th since the 9th inning was his only hit that was not a home run up to that moment
Christian Bowles we’ll never know...
Epic!
Most amazing run being 10.5 out on aug 25th 7 back w 20 left 3 out w 5 games to go get in on the last day of season.
The Cardinals are the best Franchise in pro sports.
I almost had a heart attack during that game
Incase you guys weren't listening, there's alot of words in this video but the most important are of course the infamous "We will see you tomorrow night".. BOOM YEAAAAAAAAA
7:16 is where it gets going!
let's not ignore the hose-piece that cruz threw in after he missed that fly ball
Cub fans need to watch this, AND LEARN.
Cardinals Live sadly they did
I didn't see this World Series in real life, but on RUclips
This game 6 and game 6 in 2002 w halos down by 5 w 8 outs to go comeback!
We will see you tomorrow night!
