Tell me GRAY LYNN GIBSON AND Mikolas woukdnt be suoer dangerous in the playoffs if things stay going well. Besides mikolas having a bad year in 2023 and at the beginning of this year, He's back to having really good Starts. These are veterans and even lance and kyle have both been keeping that era under 4.00 Lance is over 4 right now but he's been under 4 the whole season up until his last start. Gibson has been better than we could have imagined.. Listen to me. If this team gets in the playoffs, These veterans can run shit. They know how to pitch!! Even steve matz had like 15 good starts in a row where he only allowed three or fewer runs in every Start but then he got injured. He's coming back now and the Brewers are on borrowed time. First place will be ours!!! Just remember the comment. If the Cardinals get in the playoffs they're going to be fkn trouble!! If you know how this game goes then you know what I'm talking about.. Veteran pitchers throwing the ball well van go a looooong way!! Just look out in october, Thats all im sayy!! 😊

I am a Red Sox fan and I know before I was born, the Sox in ‘86 were one strike away from winning it all and blew it in Game 6 then lost the World Series. I have to wonder was this one strike away moment not once, but twice worse for the loser of the Series…. It’s just terrible to think that when you’re just one strike away from the World Series title and then you lose the Series….

I remember this like it was yesterday, the whole run was epic. At some point of this game I thought it was over, I tried to stop watching but couldn't, and then the magic happened. The best game ever, the best sport ever, I still get chills and get nervous. I will forever be a Cardinals baseball fan.

The 11 runners LOB for each team really tells the story, think about 11x in this game, outside of the times they already scored run & big time homeruns, that you were probably on the edge of your seat thinking the worst or having a heat attack & in The end we have extra innings with a walk-off homer in. I mean what could be better than to have so much ups n downs, lead changes, homeruns, last pitch/outs hits and walk off. Berkman was the true underrated hero of this game

I remember watching this in 2nd grade. I snuck downstairs and got caught jumping around. My mom let me watch the rest

I had been working on the road for my first steady job out of college for over half a year. That night I was at my parents home gathering anything worth moving permanently from central Illinois to Michigan the next day. We were all so stressed trying to get things packed and ready for the next day. My dad and I were arguing over something that 9th inning when Freese hit that triple. We all stopped and watched the rest of the game. We were celebrating so hard, jumping and screaming. The rest of the night, our packing was more efficient than Mary Poppins. Moved into my apartment the next day and we watched them win it in Michigan. I do feel bad for Texan fans though.

This series made me so proud to be a Cardinals fan. Also, it's crazy how loaded that Rangers team was yet they never won a ring.

Nelson Cruz should never taken the field in the 9th. Ron Washington seriously needed to make a defensive replacement. Cruz clutzed that triple, which any decent RFer would have caught. I thank Ron Washington. I thank Nelson Cruz for not working on his defense. I was stunned. A TRIPLE with 2 outs in the 9th. Nobody imagines a triple. Homers, yes. A triple. Geez Louise.
