Someone took great offense to a tame joke about Fresno, and tried to lead a walk out of the show. But no one went with him.
During a comedy show at a brewery in Fresno, California this heckler stays quiet throughout the show but, at the close, he just can't take it anymore. He won't let Steve talk about Fresno that way! His job may not be words, but that doesn't stop him from trying to lead an anti-comedy revolt a la Norma Rae.

I've lived in Fresno all my life. First... i can't believe I missed this show -- I should have payed more attention to the site. Lol. Second... everybody that lives here know there's nothing to be proud of. Even the college basketball/football teams are shit, or getting in trouble with the law so often that there's no point to having a season.
I have no clue why that guy was fired up over... Fresno is a place to die. A place to stop-off on the way to ANYwhere else. Lol.

Yep. I live near Fresno and that place is a shit hole now! School bus full of kids and at the bus stop there was a homeless guy playing with dirt and when a lady gave her a soda and burrito, he sprinkles dirt over them. That made a lasting impression those kids will never forget.

Does anyone else want to go to a Hofstetter show to be a heckler so Steve comes at you? I would love to. Just cant be an ass to him. I very much like and enjoy his youtube and heckler bashing. Hell did you guys know he does stand up comedy too? He good at it ; ). But we are all here to see him get the hecklers.
You know what would make a great patreon reward? If you did you did your set in front of a green screen the whole way through and then offered patrons a chance to choose which background you impose over the screen for the final video.
Sci-fi fans can have a space setting, you could get a medieval castle setting with royalty applauding, etc.

Bakersfield is the only place I've been to that had yellow fog. The last time I was in Bakersfield there was just a massive column of fire shooting hundreds of feet into the sky and no sign of fire service, and nobody was even looking at it, as if it was just an every day occurrence. It looked like Hell had opened up.

They think moving from LA to Bakersfield will be great, realize not so much, but they are glad they're out of that hell hole of LA and hear good things about Fresno. You always say hecklers are the worst for comedy and they should just keep it all in before shouting anything ect. But your very well known because of them. Hundreds of vids on them and a youtube celeb because of it. When you do a show people often will say, oh thats that guy that owns hecklers so well, you know from youtube.

I'm from the area (originally Hanford, currently Lemoore, but I lived in Fresno for a couple years) and yes, roughly 90% of us completely understand how fucking weird this area is. Most of us talk a LOT more shit about Fresno then you did in the video XD
People who take their kids to comedy shows, certain bars (a bar that happens to also serve food and is packed with 18-25 year olds is no place to take a kid), and clubs (yes, I've seen this happen) are the worst.
Most places are family venues, just go to one of those and save us all the irritation.
