I used to set up rented sound systems. Once, it was at a company picnic at a steel mill. I ad some of the early foam windscreens on our mics, A so called comic started picking at one of them as he asked, "Why the hell do people use these?" I was about ten feet away. Without a pause I snapped, "I use them to keep fools like you from spiting into my microphones!" He stood there quietly for over a minute before he said, "Oh." I was tired of the way he was abusing our equipment and I was stuck there most of the day so I wasn't in a good mood.
Why is it that people who comment on RUclipss comment section have to give the punch line to what we've just listened to? Do they think we are a gold fish and forgotten? And going to say hahaha man that was funny thanks for posting that I had just forgotten it.
