Sure looks nice. Oh my. Could you do a video on the van also ? Dreaming of converting a Express Cargo Van into a liveable space. Travelling to see the nation for months. Would love that.
This is the swiss army knife of the lineup. I'd be fine taking it to jobsites as well as into the outdoors. It cleans up nice as well. Shame that they couldn't shoehorn the Duramax into this model. And I'll look forward to seeing more of these on the lots so the costs are more reasonable.
GM big boys rule the large suv segment. The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.
Great truck. Do wish the AT4 interior came in other primary colors other than black. After sitting in the AT4, didn't come away with the same impression harshness of the total interior offering. The design seems impressive with consistent them. The layout, ergonomic locations and intuitiveness is solid. In the do better category the material around the HVAC controls below the infotainment screen center console area could have been better. The combo of IRS, mangaride with air suspension is a serious differentiator. Came really close to pulling the trigger on a Grand Cherokee high altitude with air ride, but black interior only. The air ride alone in the Jeep was significant differentiator to the standard shock/coil design. The AT4 brings it to a new level.
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.
Good review. Or I should say, another good review. That said, there are two things I especially wish the AT4 had that it doesn't, the rest I don't need, and I'll probably get it anyway. One, it's a big vehicle, just like the Denali and Escalade, so for safety reasons if nothing else, it should also have the digital camera rear view mirror, at least as an option. Perhaps it's not necessary, but it would be a good idea. And two, I wish this offered the high quality seat massage in the two front seats that comes with the Escalade. After a long day out hiking or fishing, or on the slopes, that would sure be nice for the long drive home. Actually, there is one more thing, that is certainly not necessary, but of all the vehicles it would be most useful with the AT4; and that is the night vision capability. The AT4 is likely to be in places more than the Denali or Escalade that such would be more useful, back roads, no street lights, wilderness where animals might cross in front, or heck, if you think Big Foot's around your camp, get in the AT4 and turn on the night vision, you just might get lucky. Oh, and the night vision is supposed to be very useful in the fog. But all told, I love the AT4's go anywhere, anytime, any weather capability. Your reference to it being comfortable throughout is good to hear as well. And it sure does look great! Thanks again.
A great car reviewer and a man of integrity. It sounded like a simple mistake. If I were telling the story it would likely have involved protecting a gorgeous German scientist from the KGB and rolling the Yukon would have been the only way to escape them. Not for nothing Steve but if that had been your story I totally would have believed you.
This is the second best review of a Yukon I’ve ever seen!
These big, expensive GM SUVs had never spoken to me before your reviews.
Better than 100th best 😂
@@stevehammes The First best was pretty hard to top. The driving was just exquisite!
Your explanation is so refined. Great review.👍💯
Another great review. $80K and no adaptive cruise control? Wow. To me, that's unacceptable.
A great car turned out! Thanks for the video, Steve!
Best review I’ve seen. Making it harder and harder to not get this truck.
It's way too expensive

I miss the side gear shift stick.
The should've kept it

So crazy how big that panoramic sunroof is... yet how tiny it looks on such a huge roof 😳
great review Steve, HUGE truck!
The GMC is the best looking of the GM Trio.
Agreed.
This would be best with a diesel. Since GM doesn’t do hybrid with AWD yet.
I honestly like the exterior of the GMC than the Chevy and Escalade but nothing beats the Escalade interior

Can u expound on what problems you’ve experience with them.
Might have some ground clearance, but it's gotta be right down the center. Looks like exhaust and suspension hang down pretty low for an over roader.
Can you mention the locations you shoot from? I really love reminiscing through your videos. I used to live in the area in my youth.

Great review. So glad you mention the interior not meeting the price tag; it’s what keeps me from choosing GM.
This review is to Za point. Now I hate it! Thanks Steve. 🥲💔
Solid video, solid review. ✔️
Steve, do you know if the GMC Yukon/Denali receive SuperCruise at some point?? Thank you!! As always, outstanding review!!
Yes! And the full-size pickup trucks later this year.
Can you comment on how off-road worthy 20” rims are compared to 18” rims or even 17”? Does GM offer smaller wheels with better off-road tires?
How often did you drive around that hut in the snow? 😁👍
Like, twice! Once for the drone
@@stevehammes it looked like more often judging by the tire tracks. 😉
Can you get it with the 6.2 and as a 9 passenger?
Rather the 6.2 liter V-8 engine
Can you elaborate on the interior quality?
It’s not that the quality is poor but it’s just not up to the standards of that price tag.

Ha!!! I should have embellished.
Bamg-up video review
The sliding console is replaced with a freezer and fridge that could go -5 c in the middle east thank god we dont have this sliding console
does this thing come in duramax like the truck
would never own or drive anything with that stupid panorama trash roof
It does not.
Too expensive, and poor on fuel. The previous generation was rated at 22 mpg hwy, this only achieves 20. That is not acceptable.
I would Take the Almighty Lexus LX 570 over this Without any hesitation.
No doubt
Lol anything above $5000 for a pos gm is a joke
Rather the 6.2 liter V-8 engine
