Looks American which it is
Looks actually good but at first I thought it was a GMC Sierra until y’all showed the back
My dad has a 2011 yukon so..
Tooo damn expensive
I cant believe yall haven't tested a Expedition yet. The Expedition is comfortable too, just falling behind to the newcomers of body on frame in technology and air suspension.
First time I see people use a Yukon for what it's meant for.
Usually it's soccer moms. Plus, it's a ton of money to take it offroad.
It's cause they are damn pricey!
Kind of huge for off road tho
Nobody uses a 30ft long SUV for off roading.
I remember way back in the days, i took my parent's suburban to help a friend out of the usual offroad spot at rainy night. I swung by the local spray car wash place and thought i had it all cleaned right at 2AM. Next morning i had an angry dad knocking on my door to come outside.... Boy did that look ugly. Took me 4 hours to clean the mud off the places that i didn't even realize it existed
I'm calling it now, AT4 will become more popular than Denali.
Everyone come back to this comment in 10 years and see if he's right
At4 who
"DENALI BRAND OUTEARNS LAND ROVER
Wow, who knew? A report from JP Morgan says that GMC’s Denali sub-brand generates $6.4 billion in revenue. That’s more than Land Rover and close to Audi. And we’re just talking about a trim line, not the entire GMC lineup. So now Buick wants a piece of that action. It’s launching its own sub-brand, called Avenir, just like that show car that generated so much attention. Buick sees an opportunity to appeal to customers who will to pay more for a higher trim level. But it’s not building that show car. Instead, Avenir branded vehicles will get bolder mesh grilles, bigger wheels and special Avenir badging. Buick says three global models will get the Avenir treatment within next year." Autoline
I hope so. Then I can buy a used one in a few years easily

Another comment from the cheap seats.
1:09 Damn that was a cool transition
I know right. Yuri's transitions are always top notch
👌👌
I'd like to see more off-road reviews from you guys. Even if you could do some older off-road vehicles like the FJ Cruiser
We did that
@boondoc001 Bub only an Idiot would take a 80 Grand SUV off Road !!
@@TheStraightPipesyea but that was formatted differently.
Great review! Just picked up the 2023 AT4 and it’s so nice! Had a forerunner for years and man I didn’t know what I was missing. Beautiful truck and perfect for my family of 5.
I like how Jacob wore a G-Shock for the this review
😉
Mudmaster?
@@nickyang1143 No, the mudmaster is huge
I am not really a GMC fan but this suv looks and sounds darn capable as long as it doesn't break, crack, squeak, nor rattle in next two years like all other GMC. Thanks for the review!
I'm sure it will do at least a few of these things, after all, it's a modern GM product.
Just like anything else on the road
@@damitbobby6677 That's not true, some brands are much better built than others.
@@KB-vu5xs where. Toyota? They starting to slip as well
@@damitbobby6677 If you compare a 5, 10, 15, etc. year old Toyota to a similarly maintained and driven GM or FCA car it's obvious they build to a higher quality standard. I will say, I am not a fan of Toyota's CVT, but they are still typically well built cars overall.
Heck, my 5 year old Hyundai is still solid as a rock, but I've seen Chevys that rattled after 2.
I live in Arkansas in the US and the AT4 is the most popular trim for the Sierras and the Yukons. Also the AT4 more is up against the ram rebel type stuff
Arkansas here too haha
They mentioned there aren’t any luxury trucks. They must not have checked out the Ram limited too.
Timothy McGlothlin yeah the top trims from the new ram are super nice
Finally got to drive a 2023 at4 and im serious when i say i have NEVER driven a more comfy, compliant and smooth riding off road vehicle from GM like this ever before!! This thing is better than every silverado, suburban, escalade and even mercedes GLE/GLS... silent turn signals, auto fold step rail, ice cold SEATS, and even though youre rolling on nubby tires on 20in wheels it is SILENT on the highway and literally smooth over every crack and over paved manhole cover... insanely smooth... an offroad suspension truck from GM!!! Wow! 👏 👏 👏
I’m a gm boy and this does put a smile on my face
I have no brand loyalty at all, and I think this is a nice rig.
Ford should make an Expedition Raptor
1st should be the all electric version
I agree
That isn’t such a bad idea.
@Jonathan Losito A Raptor and FX4 are night and day
If the rumors are true, they’d have more of a chance at making an Expedition Warthog than a Raptor. But that’s IF they use the Warthog name for SUVs
Towing capacity: x Tons
Jakub: x Jetskis
Can we get a jetski review
One day
If you pause at 0:37, the seats look speckled from the dirty windows. I wish they actually were speckled because it looks cool
7:20
I thought the same thing
This looks awesome for the family man who doesn't do vans.
And has deep pockets
It's for man who doesn't do family
You could buy 3 vans and have some hotel money leftover for $75 000.
Exactly
Wow, the day we say 75k is a reasonable price.
The Cadillac version of this is 100k
Cad*
That's the biggest off roader
It’s here 🎉
this truck looks awesome!!!
Everywhere I go I see your comments
truck?
Apokalypz yeah. Body on frame. Uses same same drive train as GM truck.
Suv boss man
@@alanhernandez3123 it’s a truck underneath, very similar to Silverado/Sierra.
Just an amazing truck. Probably literally in top 3 beat suvs in the world. Luxury... ability..... safety... reliability...
The AT4 1500 Sierras are awesome. Just wish the interior and dash controls could get a makeover like this Yukon.
2022 it’ll be there don’t tell anyone
Matthew Ortiz ok I promise no one will see this comment
Wow just out of the blue one of my favorite videos from you guys. I love this platform (Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade) and now with this off-road version, with your style, and doing actual off-road driving. Amazing.
This thing is awesome, love the daytime running lights, even more than the Telluride.
Love seeing y'all in a GM! Love these Tahoe/Yukon re designs, great seeing my favorite guys review them!!
The hidden compartment is for your .45
I think you're the only channel I subbed to in 2020, love this channel and got to give my fellow Canadians some love ❤️
Beautiful SUV - the AT4 is definitely the nicest trim on the Yukon, prefer it over the Tahoe too.
I love the "bracket" leds. That's something I like a lot from the Ford trucks and it looks great in the GMC too.
V8 body on frame off road SUV, love it. GM will be selling a lot of these.
Awesome video guys XD HORSSSSSSSEEE PWRRRR AND TORQUE!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FROM A FELLOW CANADIAN
Needs the 6.2 for that price. The 5.3 is not good enough for that price lol
@Mert M cool that they let you control the ride height tho with 4low being raised the highest. Thought that was a nifty touch to the at4
@Mert M Sierra AT4 can be optioned with the 6.2 though.
@Mert M The 6.2 can't be that much heavier than the 5.3, Hell the Power Wagon probably weighs more and easily follows Jeeps around.
I would love to have one of those Beast, saw one the other day in Red.
Dude, I saw a SS one day and I was like I didn't know Chevy had their own Charger.
Looked it up later and found that out.
Honestly don't get why, the Charger sells like Hotcakes. I see R/Ts and Scat Packs all the time.
The new Charger body kind of looks like a 4 door Camaro too.
5.3 last long time
Any GM product 50k and up....should have the 6.2 standard !
The AT4 stands for All-Terrain four-wheel drive and it's the off-road specialist in the GMC lineup.
6:27 he just vibing in Ritz car
Lmao
This is a very cool car. I love that you guys did this review, because not many other people are reviewing this at all. This is a very relevant vehicle.
No one:
Absolutely no one:

Much love, your friends at Rev Media!!
I had to come back it this video to let you guys know that I actually work at the GM plant where these trucks are built and I was STOCKED when I saw you guys reviewing it!!!
“Let’s put in in 4-Lo” on a hill that a nissan versa could walk up
This or the Tahoe are my two dream SUV and daily drive vehicle. Just love it.
We're still waiting for a fun play with savagegeese... As courtesy for his last vid lol
Once our legal team is done with him
🤣🤣🤣
Love how they tied in the review like regular conversation
08:15 "There are no other brands that offers just SUV's that are a luxury brand"
Land Rover has entered the Chat....."Am I a joke to you?!?!?!"
Land rover, Toyota Land cruiser, Lexus 570, Nissan patrol, the list goes on.
@@SoapOnTheRope88 land rover is the only other brand that doesnt offer anything else besides SUV's; toyota, lexus, and nissan all offer normal cars / sedans
I was looking for this comment
Land rovers are a joke.
Comparing this 'luxury' to Land Rover and its Range is complete mismatch. Range is proper luxury, Mercedes/Audi class stuff.
I love that the visor test will NEVER get old :D
This thing would sell like crazy in Australia! 🇦🇺
Sad we don't get it
@@Jake-pz7ue you guys get the Toyota LC200 and the 76 series LC with the 4.5 Diesel I would take those over this GM garbage
@@ryadhasanahmed5443 haha true I wouldn't get a gm but I for weird reason like them.
Only if Holden was around 😔
@@ryadhasanahmed5443 garbage? GM trucks are extremely reliable, talking from experience.
Omggggg I was hoping for someone to do this review it's my fav car/truck/vehicle and my fav trim level. When you guys did it I thought you wouldn't go off roading but you areeeeee. So happy
Is it me or is the audio glitching/clipping
Yea I got some static about half way through
Definitely getting some crackling in the audio. Really annoying. I always wonder if it's my headphones.
I thought I was my phone meeting up, glad it's the video instead
Me too
Same, I thought it was me..
Yessss! I've been waiting for this video! Can't wait the the suburban and escalade esv ones too
You two should review an abarth 595!
I was shocked you guys put out a video today but was a great surprise and I think I have a new fav suv in that Yukon I love everything about it inside and out but I have to wait to see how the new bronco dose from a driving stand point when you guys and actually drive it stay safe guys hopefully we all don’t go into lock down again
Hope you guys have a review of the 2021 Toyota Venza coming soon. I had a chance to test drive it this weekend and it's a completely different beast from the 2016 model. Doesn't look like a Toyota and is more like the Jaguar SUV from the rear/Lexus from the front. Actually considering on purchasing it, which I would never say the same about the old one. Only thing I wasn't too keen on was the lack of physical knobs for controls and no V6 option.
I fell lin love with this SUV. I am a truck gal all the way!!!! I am a DODGE RAM 4x4 gal all the way... but this captivated my heart... I want 1~~
Off-road? That thing is HUUUGEEE for an "Off-road" car.
Light off-roading, not wrangler level off-road
They're fine for off road with a couple (expensive) modifications.
The weight does limit you, especially with the factory gearing in low traction. But rock crawling aside, a Tahoe or Yukon with a lift and lockers will keep up through 90% of off roading youd do in the US.
@@joeys8701 Just get a Power Wagon at this point.
What about the Land Cruiser, G-Class and F-150?
@@joeys8701 exactly, the only downside is it doesn’t come with a rear locker from the factory.
I had a 2019 Sierra 2500 AT4 with the 6.2. Baby had. 420 HP and did 0-60 in 5.8 secs! I raced a brand new Raptor on a freeway on-ramp and even though I started from behind him, I was gaining on him the entire time and was barely ahead when my limiter hit at 100 mph. Also, I didn’t have air suspension so my truck had a permanent 2 inch lift.
If you can get the 6.2 motor, do it. That engine is a beauty and paired with the 10 speed auto and it’s close ratios, the power is always ready to be put down to the ground.
Why 5.3L instead of the regular and more powerful 6.2L? 355HP for that big truck seems inadequate
I drive a 5.3 and it’s not underpowered at all, although the 6.2 would be nice for the price
@WOLF the 305 and LS/LT truck engines are nothing like a 305 lol.
I dont people understand how absolutely colossal these trucks are. They look humorously large in person
Kinda sad that GM took away the column shifter :(
Agree! I had a 2007 Escalade and I really liked the column shifter and on the Yukons I drove.. they should’ve kept them..
This the first time that somebody is complaining about wireless CarPlay. Nice job Yuri.
Naw check our m2 competition video
When you want to take the family and in laws off roading.
Yuri truly is the champion of 8-10 year old media formats nobody uses anymore.
holy shit this truck looks awesome!!!
I am obsessed with yukons my god the best suv for traveling I Swear!
God those headlights look like the F250’s
And the tail light look like the Kia Tellurides
Mango22 True, but considering the Telluride is a complete rip off of the old Yukon it’s fair (watch TheSketchMonkey’s video it’s true)
Looks amazing 🤷🏻... nice truck
Just bought one yesterday! The 2021 at4 XL ...I wouldn't bother buying the yukon denali unless you want the 6.2 ,almost everything you need from the denali come with the at4 ..
GM's designers died when he said using the touch screen for the suction cup holding an iPad.
I know that restaurant parking lot!? They have good food there!
Didn't know there was trails hidden there 🤔
Awesome review guys!
Yeah if you go in and order off the secret menu "trailburger" they tell you where all the trails are
6:50
🤯What iPad holder is that??
I need links ASAP!🤩
Man the new Yukon is looking quite nice
Glad to see it being used properly
This SUV is equiped for off roading, but I won't risk an expensive vehicle just for off road I would rather have an old 4runner LOL
Old 4runner will break less often, be relatively cheap to maintain, and probably still be running when this GMC goes to the junkyard.
Exactly and I bet anyone who does buy this to "off road", will keep it pretty tame in terms of how hard-core the offroad setting is that it could be done in most other vehicles that aren't even marketed as "off road" vehicles.
It’s not a hardcore dedicated off-roader, it’s a family SUV which can go off-road.
@@KB-vu5xs agreed, I'm scared if it's "features" broke and it will cost you a fortune, meanwhile you could get a wise car with a proven reliability and many aftermarket parts
@Roger Dodger I'd be willing to bet that a lot of these are junkyard scrap in 10 years.
Love these off-road reviews!
This is pretty gnarly. Take it offroading and also look good driving in the city, id completely black it out
congrats on 1 mill
Its weird to me how this is as much as a hellcat. So many people have cars like this where I live and like no hellcats.🧐🤨
How many child seats can you fit in a Hellcat?
A C kids aren’t allowed.😂
Jack McNeil I agree dodge cars are overpriced with cheap plastic interior
Jack McNeil dodge cars are just overrated in my opinion
great review and need to see sales and reactions before commenting on "cool" or not - glad they did this and we see how the other models change.
uhhhh DO NOT PUT SUCTION CUPS ON DISPLAYS. Ive seen people who have done that and destroyed their touchscreen head unit which costs thousands to replace.
Well then maybe it should have support for apple
@@YuriTereshyn it certainly should, also using one of those headrest attachment holders is probably a better idea!
The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.
Wireless CarPlay sucks because the Music quality takes a huge dio
Bluetooth maybe? Duh
@@JordanJank Bluetooth only makes it worse 😆
Loved the review. The lane keep is assist. It will bump you back into the center. Have a good one guys!
@6:40 Hahah! These guys just made the entire entertainment team at GM cry.
They did it to themselves
you know Continental makes bicycle tires too. Perhaps a TheStraightPipes themed video with road bicycles would be hilarious
❤️ "Ooooorsss Power & Torqqqqqqqqque" ❤️
For luxury SUV's I had an 08 Lincoln Navigator L so I have a bias towards Lincoln. That being said, I've always loved GMC and have wanted an Escalade EXT (they hold their value too damn well). This new AT4 looks fantastic
Why don’t they offer the 6.2 in this. Even the tahoe z71 comes with only the 5.3. Sad
Worlddxb, the GMC engineer stated that the 6.2L & the 3.0L Diesel would not give them the clearness they wanted.
I’m sure there will be a SC kit on the market soon to makes up for the lack of displacement if you have the dolla dolla bills.
I like how Jacob "kinda" likes everything.
such a beautiful car
Is a revisit of the FJ Cruiser a possibility? The Straight Pipes ranch seems like the perfect place to test its off-road capabilities, and your guys' reviewing style has changed and improved dramatically since that 2 min video 3 years ago. Love the channel, much love from Puerto Rico :D
the f150 headlights has become a trend of trucks like how the iphone x camera became a trend 😄😆
Are the USB C ports PD (Power Delivery) compatible? AKA will they Super Fast Charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or charge my 83W laptop? If not, the ports are worthless.
You should do Land cruiser before it goes of the North america
I like how they went back to making the Yukon/Tahoe look like a Sierra/Silverado with a roof
75k for a truck that can tow 8k pounds whats so good about it?!
It’s one of the very few SUVs that can actually tow.
Gotta get the 6.2L... have it in my Sierra AT4 and it’s great... power and sound is 👌🏼
All I know about GMCs is that you should drive as far away as possible from anyone driving one of them. “Why?” You might ask, and the answer is that only men who want to compensate their smol PPs with ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE chrome grilles, women who don’t know how to drive or a combination of both own 99.5% of all GMC trucks, so it is extremely dangerous being near them.
Great review! Finally I see how it performs 👍🏽
My Father: Who dares to drive such a luxurious SUV in such a rigid way while off-roading ??
Me: I and the peeps of my age !😎😎
The DRL looks so good!
just once would like to watch a review without the over-rated raptor
passer à autre chose!
Separate buttons for heated back is the best addition to the heated seat game since seats were first heated. So nice to have a warm back without making your ass sweat at the same time.
Blu ray?! Who’s this guy? Someone come and get your mans...
Shout out from Michigan! Gotta love our Canadian friends though 🥰🇨🇦
👋
Front looks like a F-150 lol
I think its those headlights haha
GM came up with it before ford
I just had the Sierra AT4 in my driveway last week, and I really enjoyed it. I like what GMC is doing with this trim, but I'm still not sure I understand why GMC still exists in the first place.... 😐
I like the video review but this gear shifter... Noooooo freaking way, thumbs down.
Nice review. One miss in my view is limited slip versus locking rear end. Big preference for a rear locker.
