I want a lighter like that with a ling handle like takes 2 maybe even 3 21700 for a good handle and if you have to beat someone probably not ideal but then they could use a buck converter instead of a less effective linear supply and probably a little better than a boost converter driver
@@cheule it looks cool as, but then as great as Stranger Things is! Now all the hipsters are into stuff I've always had nostalgia for 🤣🤣which is a good thing I suppose inovation and all. 😁
Love the look of this too, I'm with you regarding the emitter though; something warm around 3000k would definitely fulfil the retro craving. That l o n g battery and tube would be essential if i purchased it, good luck getting replacements in five years though 😂
Hi, friend. I don't know if you've tried the Mataminco FT02, her little sister. Even with more vintage appearance (without USB-C cargo port or ignition button on the body. I bought it recently at Banggood for the ridiculous price of € 10 ($ 11 USD) and it seems to me a cool one. Worthy of being in your collection . It is available in Banggood and Aliexpress for about $ 20-30 at this time (I do not make an ad or spam) and I think you would like. Greetings from Spain.
I wasn't even alive when flashlights that looked like this were common place but, there's something very cool about it! You should definitely do an emitter swap!
@@cheule My bad, was on mobile when I checked the FT03 link, didn't catch the SFH55 spec on their page and I didn't hear you mention the LED in the vid.... It's good that it holds well for the first minute. Matemico's PD90S performed pretty horribly in the first minute, so I'm hesitant to trust any light based on the SFH55 that's FET driven. Do you know what driver they're using for this?
@@cheulet really is. I got this LED in the Amutorch XT45, which actually has pretty dope regulation up until high. (Apparently it sustaines 1800 lumens, which is nuts from a single 21700. Just wish it could hold turbo a little longer. Also the green AR-coating apparently makes a huge difference, as my SFH55 is definitely neutral/below duv.
It's such a nice vintage looking style that is rare in modern lights, it's such a shame that they used a cool emitter given that this would have been an ideal moment to use warm.
The code is expired, I'll contact flashlight brand and get new one. If you're in a hurry, and a first time flashlight brand customer, you can use NEW10 for 10% off.
Why don’t you do a collection video and show us your flashlight shelf!
I’m scared that people will think I’m “fronting” or crazy.
Really like the overhead camera angle. That's a relatively new addition to the videos?

Quite same as yr logo! Your channel logo.👍
Oh I see it!
Sofirn IF22a, in silver looks very simlar and I only ordered because of how vintage it looks took me back to my childhood 😂
I love the look!

I’m not super worried about battery longevity, there’s always something new coming out. And this flashlight is pretty inexpensive.

Awesome drone shot!
The light is really cool looking, but definitely asking for a XHP70.3 HI
It looks like a light saber
Hey - I'm not the only one who digs "old-fart" style lights!
I love the older style too

That looks like you can put an SFH55 or SBT90.2 in there, should work as they're 3V.
This flashlight comes with an SFH55, so you would be correct!

2:41 I thought it was a thrower
I love the extended tube!
I love the look.
@@cheule it is truly what makes this flashlight desirable. A wonderful conversation piece
Wurkkos just released a new flashlight, the TD01. A big big 59mm head TIR thrower with a SFT40. Would you check that out?
I just contacted Wurkkos, we’ll see 🤞
@@cheuleapparently it uses a buck+fet driver, which makes me really want to get it if the UI is usable
There is a new niwalker n01, very similar style but a more modern look, if you like this one you gonna like that one
Thanks for the tip!
Also how good is the regulation on this light?
Sorry, I didn’t run any runtime tests. I don’t expect much from it. I just think it’s cool looking!

Super cool looking light but I wish it had modes instead of ramping :/
I hear you!
buble in the midlle of hotspot is just too bad

Yeah long body is how I'd keep it at all times. Looks like it's filled with C cells 😂
I concur.
I tried to purchase with the discount code YFT03. The discount code does not work.
Let me look into it.

My contact says YFT03 will work now.
@@cheule confirmed, worked for me thanks!
