Thanks! This was a good watch, don't see a lot of motorcycle content.. 👍👌✌ I dont know about anyone else, but *every single time* I'm looking at a motorcycle job my brain tells me "hey look bro, it's little, this will go quicker and easier than normal vehicles.." Then my OCD kicks into overdrive and I'm unbolting and removing pieces and making custom tools and pads to get into those tiny and hidden spots and sinking in twice the amount of hours.. 😕😧
Keith Olsen Thank you! I would like to do more motorcycle content. Man you are right about that. I thought this would be a breeze and man did I under estimate it. Thanks for watching.
Having owned several bikes myself over the years I know how time consuming it can be. Your results look great. Anyone would be proud to ride that bagger. Hope you are getting settled into the new house. 👍✌️🇺🇸
Man that thing is super BLINGTASTIC!! Awesome job brother! Really takes time an patience to get into detail mode on these things but the after shot results are really worth it. Looks awesome man. Great video!
I always thought I would own a motorcycle. After 15 years driving for work, there is absolutely no way I could do it after everything I have seen. Good detail man!
Awesome work and video! Shines like a diamond! A small rotary polisher with backing plates down to 1" if you want to have machines to help you out is a great option to go with. Also if you have seen those kits that you attach to a rotary polisher and have a very flexible extension to where you attach foams and wools in various forms. Could be very usefull to get into the nocks and crannies. Beutieful walk around video in the sun!
Tony Mattisson Thank you! I have thought about buying one of those extensions and polisher. I would really like the iBird but can’t justify the price and haven’t heard the greatest things about them. Thanks for watching
Man! What a fantastic job! Seems the smaller the vehicle, the more meticulous you have to be. You did a fantastic job on all that chrome! Nice job FAB!!
Tequila sunrise paint. I’ve got a street glide that’s the same color and I’m GLAD I found your video as I’m about to tackle the same task. Beautiful work man!
IntervalePC Thank you it was a long edit video but worth it. That’s funny about your cat. Funny thing is when I made the video I didn’t even notice the cricket. 😂 Thanks brother as always for the support.
Patrick Campbell Thank you! Definitely a much bigger garage. My old garage was 20’x20’ and the new garage is 24’x30’. Downside is it is unfinished so I have a lot of work to do.
Great vlog Brian, amazing how the head down drivers is global I don’t even enjoy car driving now since being rear ended by an idiot on his phone and now all the time you see people in the rear view head down, it’s horrible ! 😡
I REALLY need to do that type of cleaning on my 02VTX1800. Ive never messed with the Ceramic coatings, but they seem to be the movement over carnuba wax now.
I have nearly the same bike. Thanks for the video, looks really good. You said you don't do a lot of bikes but if you run into the pipe bluing again there is a product called Blue Job that works great..
Great video B! Very impressive results and idk about you but I’m super hyped about the new products coming from Adams and Griots and a bunch of other companies
Hey Brian, your experience with motorcycles and your thoughts on other motorists mirrors mine 100%. I had an identical situation where a lady at an intersection pulled out into me right as I was riding through. I ended up with 3 broken ribs as a result (thank God I was wearing my helmet!) I rode for a few years afterward but, like you, it got to where I was a little paranoid and fearful of dumbass drivers. Take care, bro.
I've never detailed a bike before. I have owned only one bike but on two wheels I'm dangerous so I decided to stick to just four wheels.. That orange pops now
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Sure do FAB... Hope your move is going well and you get settled and back to normal quickly.. Another thing I can feel your pain on.. Moving and renovating...UGH!
I mostly do car details as well, so I’m really bad at estimating for motorcycles, how much would you typically charge for a job like this? Great content by the way, really enjoyed the vid!
hello I wanted to know if the polisher is better with battery or with the wire to be connected to the network? With the vivid color black I think it's more difficult, am I wrong? Greetings from Italy.
I'm lil sketchy about using a polisher, since I'm a "beginner" and my bike is black. I don't want those Buff marks, that I see in other beginners cars.. Any advise? BTW...Looks awesome!
Buffing trails typically come from a rotary polisher or a heavy compound with an aggressive pad. Today’s DA polishers are very safe and I would not be concerned at all. Take your time and it will be ok. Always start least aggressive then work your way up from there to get the correction you are looking for. Thanks and love the name! 🇺🇸
I know this is a couple years ago but.... Why would you leave the saddle bags on the bike to not only clean the rear wheel but also wash the bike and then take them off to polish them?
It’s easier to wash the bags with them attached so I do t risk knocking them over if I put them on the ground while washing. I took them off so I could get to the back side of them to polish and coat.
Not sure I would enjoy doing a Harley. Looks good though, My old neighbor built a bench he could drive his bike up on after this I can see the true genius behind it. After this vid you may end up picking up some more bike action and may need to get a lift or build a bench yourself. Nice work again though. I got a griots 3inch you can have, used once and hated it so bad when I finally got my Bigfoot I pulled the backing plate off of my little torq and swapped it with the griots polisher.
Jason B It definitely took longer then I thought it would. I wouldn’t mind picking up more bikes. My wife bought me a new 3 inch swirl killer but I appreciate the offer. Plus Griot’s just unveiled a new 3 inch it looks awesome. They went from a 200 watt motor to a 700 watt
FAB as far as griots goes I am done with polishers from them. If things ever get serious for me I will probably stick with rupes. I may sound like a fan boy but a couple bad experiences with cheaper ones will do that. If you pick up more bikes you could almost justify the rupes nano.
Jason B Hey man use what works for you there is nothing wrong with that and doesn’t sound like a fanboy. One of these days I will definitely get the iBrird Nano.
This guy just looked at the whole willie G catalog and said "yes"
That orange looks really good in the light!! Well done Brian
Thank you It turned out great!

Jordan Adamowicz Thanks man! I am stoked about all the new products also but there are just to many to try.
From a DIY'er point of view, I would consider that a labor of love. 👍
Ed Ruiz Definitely! Thanks brother
Funny 2005 was when I smashed up my bike as well. Love the transformation of that beautiful bike 👍
Tom Z Hopefully you weren’t hurt to bad. Thanks man
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing aaaahhhh only a broken femur, and fractured pelvis, nothing too bad 🤘
Tom Z You definitely made out worse than I did. I had a concussion and some road rash that’s all. Glad to hear you’re OK

Tequila Sunrise and Harley Orange. I have a Street Glide in the same colors.

What a great job.
But you did a sick job! That thing almost burned the retinas in my eyes lol.
bobbymorgret Thanks man! The best kind of eye burn. 😂
I've never detailed a bike before. I have owned only one bike but on two wheels I'm dangerous so I decided to stick to just four wheels.. That orange pops now
ZoutlawSS You would think they are easier and faster then cars but they definitely aren’t. I will stick to four wheels now also. Thanks man
I feel your pain FAB.. my 2009 Fatboy has even more chrome and Black Ice/ Blue Ice paint... royal PIA to detail..
Chicago Mike Yeah if it was maintained it would be easier but you know how that goes sometimes.

HOOF HEARTED Yep but I have a special Thanksgiving Turkey video coming out soon from the old house. It has a special guest appearance in it. 😂
I mostly do car details as well, so I’m really bad at estimating for motorcycles, how much would you typically charge for a job like this? Great content by the way, really enjoyed the vid!
Is there anything you can do for the blueing of the exhaust Great job
Unfortunately not! Thanks
Harley Davidson came out great ..

Fantastic job!! Looks amazing.
I need those rims, which ones are they?
Thank you! I don’t know what wheels they are as it isn’t my bike.
😯 That is very nice!! It looks amazing 😎
MNpicker Thanks bro!
What did u use to clean the cluster area
hello I wanted to know if the polisher is better with battery or with the wire to be connected to the network? With the vivid color black I think it's more difficult, am I wrong? Greetings from Italy.
Cordless or wired doesn’t matter. It just needs to be able to spin the pad fast enough for correction.
Absolutely incredible detail. Where are you located & how much is a detail like tht?
Will Kearney Thank you! I live just east of Indianapolis. Normally $200-$300
Great content, very informative. 👍🏾

What do you think about the Maxima SC1 high gloss coating? I’ve used it on my Harley before and I think it works great.
I have never used that coating. Sorry
Brian, awesome!
Thank you
How long was the total job ? . Very nice .
Probably 6-8 hours.
Hello friend, i truly enjoy ur work & vids. I would be in the North Carolina area Sept 7th-12. How can I reach you so I can set up a detailing?

What do you use on the black plastic parts?
The spray coating works great on plastics also.
