Absolute garbage, I played social rugby in Wellington and Auckland and saw much weaker societies through those brilliant but marshmallow people. The TMO did the same thing since the 90s and nobody complained whether gravity, velocity or environmental variables got involved. Stop complaining cos the milk is already mopped up and Springboks win by 4 to 3 even though they only participated in 8 RWC tournaments despite our current pathetic government flaws hurting our beautiful, over-diverse and passionate people in SA. @fourmoreyears you clearly don't know the rules for forward passes. Ever heard of physics and momentum? As long as the ball leaves the hands backwards the rest don't matter as the ball will always move forward when it is passed by a player in a forward moving motion and momentum.

@@senseisaitama8684 The fact that Sam Cane was suspended after the tournament shows that the red card was indeed valid and no, Wayne Barnes did not say that he had made a mistake by penalising Savea, Do you really believe that the stand in captain of the All Blacks, on hearing that the penalty should not have been awarded, would turn around and walk away rather than ask why the penalty was not overturned and given to the All Blacks instead? In accusing Wayne Barnes of making the error, you are also accusing Ardie Savea of not being a captain's arsehole....
I am quite disappointed at how the NZ media have handled this loss, blaming everyone but their own team; they did it after the Twickenham loss as well where, again, you were down to 14 men due to your own infringements. Honestly, Goldie saying on the Breakdown that Scott Barrett diving shoulder first onto a player on the ground should not even be a penalty, let alone a yellow card? Really?!? With the media being that bad, I suppose it is understandable that the public follow suit, but here's the thing:
1. The All Blacks are not infallible and will not win every single time they take the field.
2. All Blacks lost that final more than Springboks won it. 19 turnovers, shots at goal turned down, 2 kicks at goal missed. You had 60% possession, stole 40% of our lineouts, were only penalised half as much, but Wayne Barnes cost you the title???? So your team did everything right then, did they?
3. Perhaps if you had not altered the laws in SR to a 20 minute red, you would have learned to tackle better. You will never see the same leniency in internationals as you do in SR because NZRU is not the institution that has 207 former players in a civil action claiming damages for head injuries.

As a Bok fan I am happy with our incredible win after navigating our way through the hardest route of any team to the final with guts and vasbyt. Our diversity and depth are unmatched. Our coaching team got under the skin of all their counterparts often leaving them baffled and bewildered, trying to catch up. Nothing made me happier though than seeing Ireland being put back in their box by NZ .. their problem was that they started to believe all their own hype. their disbelief, tears and whining since then seems to suggest that they thought they deserved to be there in the final. Life is cruel especially when your'e just not good enough. You cant help thinking that with Sexton gone and their antipodean try scorers returning home or retiring that they have shot their bolt.
Rugby is 80 minutes as Shown by our Marvelous Springboks. Kings of world rugby. Great victory parade still ongoing Country wide.

Go and watch the quarter finals between SA and Australia in the 2011 World Cup and also the final of the same year against France and tell me ABs deserved that cup. Also the try against SA by NZ in the semi final of the 2015 world cup was a meter forward. AB scraped through 20/18 in that match. We had to accept and move on and so do you. I know it's tough when the shoe is on the other foot.

Though in terms of viewership icc cricket world cup is at 2nd place after fifa wc ,considering single sport event, but still world rugby association is doing good jod by allowing 20 teams to participate in the rugby wc and planning to expand to 24 teams. That's why fans engagement in live matches and the hype is immense. But unfortunately the icc is doing a meaningless job by restricting the teams from participation. Icc should learn from world rugby association. As a cricket fan it's very disheartening

I believe 24 teams is too much. As it is, the bottom 4 teams currently have little or no chance of winning even one game. Add to this, the fact that often, less experienced teams tackle recklessly and this can lead to injuries to players in the top teams.

@15:55, can someone explain how that's not a knock-on? IF you use the . key to move forward frame by frame it seems to me pretty clear it goes forwards from where he drops it to when it lands up. Look where his hand is when he releases, versus where the ball ends up touching grass.

you could make an argue for momentum, but the honest truth is that 9 times out of 10 that is blown as a knock on, or forward pass...
You don't know the rule? If the ball comes out of the hands backwards it's not a forward pass because of something called physics and momentum. You learn something new everyday buddy.

Secondly the card to Cain was 100% correct. It was textbook. And it's been an AB pattern for a while, had a red card at Twickenham, and had the most cards of any team at the tournament.
Thirdly SA absolutl deserved to win. They beat 4 out of 5 of the top sides in the world only losing to Ireland for missed kicks. The AB's beat 1/5, losing to 2 of others.
Finally the AB's had 5 opportunities to win that match, 2 missed kicks at post and 3 kick for touch that could easily have won them the game. Barns'e didn't lose the game for the AB's their tactics did.
@@senseisaitama8684 Yes for forward passes, but knock on's have historically been much more strictly enforced. Even knock downs are often shown to be knock-ons. Wayne Barnse missed the one at the linout before and had the TMO tell him. It's curious that he didn't even check the try with the TMO after this.

That is why the Northern group only one 1 from 10 world cups. They are so narrow minded that they can look through a key whole with both eyes.
Enjoyed this WC, despite WR's attempts to sabotage their own game. Teams stood up and delivered. Some of the all time great contests. SA vs NZ, FRA vs SA, IRE vs SA, IRE vs NZ, FIJI vs AUS, FRA vs NZ, ENG vs ARG, WAL vs FIJI.

He made no other contact to indicate he was affecting a clear out and only wrapped Bongis neck and went straight to sit on his knee. Cane was upright straight contact to head, red card. Try came off a forward pass ball even rolled forward no try. Kolisi should have not even gotten a yellow he was bent at hips and knees, tackle was below shoulder only his head hit the ball first rebounded up and made head contact.
