Dayah AuNaturale I never said her work should be free and I am not trying to be rude here. But Alexandra did quite clearly state that this was a free makeover for a youtuber, and also listed the products that were gifted. Of course there is a lot of work behind it on both ends, I understand that, however I am only suggesting that it would be awesome if a fan got one of these complete makeovers, because that would mean so much more as an act itself and I feel that could be a great marketing tool as well.
@@a_tots It's much easier to do it with other youtubers because you can trust them to have equipment and film well. They already know most of the filming needs. Also they can collab again later on future videos. It's more networking. It would be nice, but honestly for marketing and networking, other youtubers makes sense
Could use some smaller circles above and beside the first one using the other colors.. just saying it's another opportunity to allow everything to shine including her dogs that way
Hey Becky and Kelsey why don't you do a video on diy pendant lampshades Actually I am going to do a room makeover video but I am out of budget to buy new lampshades for my pendant lights
Alexandra is such a lovely, genuine person. She's the kind of girl you'd love to be your bff. Watched every one of her videos and there's no drama, no fake over-the-top personality, no fakery. She's just a really chill girl who's kind and always true to herself. 10/10 would totally drink wine with.
It's so nice to see the use of warm colors in this period when everyone seems to be obsessed with gray and white. Love the room, but like others, would like to see the headboard a bit higher. This was fun to see how it all came together.
Absolutely hate the grey white pink look over it. Unfortunately my living room is GREY...but I'm adding navy and yellow to it. Totally different now the grey almost disappeared into the mix
I think that if it was higher, she would have had to make it wider in order to keep the same shape, but going wider would take up too much wall space and throw out the balance.
Its so beautiful. The only thing I would have changed is to make that painted headboard way bigger I think is a bit small but everything else is perfect.
So happy to see a makeover that uses a lot of what someone already has and elevates the style and function of it. Sometimes we need new and sometimes we need to rethink our setup! Great stuff
I love the room, I can't believe Tasha was able to have all of her zones covered. I am a symmetry person so for me the circumference of the circle should be 'touching' the the bed posts, it's just my thing though.
This gal has all my respect. She loves her pups and that is SO ME! I love that their comfort was a priority in her planning. Also, they are adorable. :)
Wow well done! it looks so relaxing as if you're on holiday haha that lady did well building the furniture and shelves etc her voice is also calming haha
I LOVE it when I run across an Alexandra vlog I somehow missed!!! This room is heaven! I don’t know how you could improve on the rug...perf for the room and her style! Great job, Women!!!
That room has gone from cold and clinical to full of warmth charm and personality! Big pat on the back for you Alexandra you hit the nail in the head again 👍🏻
This was amazing!!! I absolutely love it, it turned out so great. I love the smaller circle as the headboard, I think it's just right and creates more interesting shapes with the bedframe. I LOVE the new placement of the dog/daybed! When you look from the doorway you don't even see it, but you know there's a cozy space back there. It's really really well laid out. So happy for both of you that this virtual makeover went so well!
Love the finished product and the show-and-tell throughout. Very inventive to incorporate the dog bed into the room as a feature instead of just a place to stash dogs. Well done ladies ! A great joint effort.
I love how you can help transform rooms via FaceTime with your client. I also loved that she was actually able to make the entire room over, however I would have made the circle larger over the bed
Your makeovers are the best, so cozy and relaxing. You make people very happy. I am getting inspiration from your videos to declutter my home and make it nice. Less clutter makes a home welcoming and calm. I am a maximalist but I have gone a bit overboard, I must reign in my stuff.
Love the chair that is in front of her make up area. Love the desk, too. Love the idea of using the leather for the curtain rod holders and am thinking if THAT works, well then the possibilities are endless! - fabric, wood, plastic etc.! I think the rug Alexandra picked up will make a big difference. The one she has matches but is too dark. It makes the room somber, to me. Love the little side table shelf and the pillows. (The dogs will love the pillows to rest their heads on if they are anything like mine!) I agree that the "headboard would look better and maybe more balanced with the wall space if it was larger. Also noticed on the reveal the space over the dog bed is blank. Needs an accent color or paintings or plants attached. I think Alexandra would have some greenery in there somewhere and a new bedspread, too (although that might be a fools errand with dogs! lol) if she could do the space in person but it is a great improvement! Well done!
The room turned out beautiful, you girls rocked it! Alexandra you had Tasha’s colour pallet right on the buttonhole! When distancing is over you two need to get together and discuss it!
I watched Tessa’s Visio yesterday. So excited to see yours pop up! My daughter has a daybed for her three mastiffs. Yes your cats need one. Great job ladies. What a beautiful room!
This is so incredible. I watch...all...your videos, and so far, this is my absolute favorite. I did not think I would like all those yellow tones but it turned out so well, it's matching enough without being too obvious, it's so warm and cozy. I'm just blow away. I'm changing all my thoughts about what I want my space to look like.
Love the Article Wicker 20:48 pendant lamp. Its gorgeous. The second chair matched the vibe better. It's so awesome. I think that the painted headboard needs to be a bit wider so that the bed and the wall matches perfectly.
ALEXANDRA GATOR, I love love this bedroom. What a challenge, to not only come up with something your friend loved, have it be natural, relaxing, and include a relaxing and pretty spot for her dogs, but to also design it so she could do it herself, leaving her choices for overhead lighting and art work, and in addition, you never got to spend a second in the room you were designing. It looks doable even to this 76 year old woman with a bad back. You are definitely a wonderful designer with a super good creative imagination. QUESTION?? Did she send you tons of accurately measured dimensions of the room/windows, and existing furniture? Everything is so nicely proportional and comfy, and also tasteful and calming. She genuinely appeared to love the completed room. QUESTION #2?? Do you have a picture of the room with the new rung? Congratulations on yet another successful project, and happy client. If my place weren't such a wreck, I'd love to have you redo my living room, bedroom and garden/craft room. It will take me at least another six months to sort through, give away, clean, and organize my stuff, before I can know what I want in each room. I've been collecting things for about three years, to begin making mixed media journals and memory boxes for my siblings and eight nieces, and a few friends. Three years ago, I started watching mixed media artists on you tube and fell in love with their "junk journals." I have years of old pictures and bits and bobs of little things, which would take someone else ages to go through. I and my two sisters were overwhelmed with "stuff" to sort through after our parents died, so I'd hate to have anyone go through my stuff when I'm gone. This way, by making them each a journal and giving them decorated boxes of material to pick and chose from, they can have fun projects they can take years to work on, instead of endless piles of confusion and decisions to make. Wish me luck. As for you, you just keep taking care of yourself, and be safe. It is so nice to see you enjoying helping to make over your and others' homes. Love and hugs to you Alexandra, from Alice in South Carolina, US - your southern neighbor.
You both did a really great job! Alexandra's beautiful design and Tasha's making it happen. Yay! :D ♥ ♥ I am so glad Tasha opted for no TV in the bedroom, as TV is anything but tranquil. This space is lovely and calm and serene.
That curtain rod idea is awesome! And it looks like it makes the curtains sit more flush against the wall at the top, which I love. I frequently need my curtains to block out as much light as possible, and my traditional curtain rods and mountings hold them out from the wall, creating a gap that lets more light in than I'd like, even with decent blackout curtains. So, I love that idea, and I think I may just give it a shot and see if it helps stop some of the light coming out from the top! 😀
This style works for social distancing, but would definitely be good as a feature to expand your styling without having to travel. Great job on the design and she did fabulous executing it!

I a terracotta wall in a home during the 2000-2200 and its great to see it coming back. I was keying off of the color in my Indiana limestone fireplace. I'm a dog owner and I would have to have a dog blanket on the daybed 24/7.
That’s a really good makeover. I love that it completely reflects her own style. It’s interesting that the painted headboard doesn’t have to huge to work - a grown up way for what could otherwise look a bit teenage. Very inspiring.
Terrific makeover! The ochre semi circle behind the bed could be higher, or maybe toned out to expand it? I would love to see that Article lamp on so we can see how it looks at night. Love the dogs clinging to the bed as she pulled it around 💖💕 great dog bed by the way, and adding the cushions is a great touch.
You should actually do this with one of your fans, that would be so epic!!!!
She already does this with her subscribers
Dayah AuNaturale Not really, she gives subscribers design suggestions, but not the actual free furniture and material for a makeover
@@a_tots nothing is free. Even on makeover TV shows, most pay something. Her labor and work should not be free and neither should yours

The headboard looks like a rising sun and considering Tasha’s vintage business is called Soleil, that’s very fitting 😍

Hello Kokeshi Doll, I noticed your user name. I study kokeshi. Why did you choose this name?
Ditto! The painted wall behind the headboard needs to be as wide as the headboard and taller! Otherwise, it's a pretty space :)

Personally would have painted the circle higher or larger. I do like that she didn’t tape it off to give it a more natural edge
Definitely! Otherwise, the room looks fantastic!
I kinda like it, it gives like a sun setting effect
I think that if it was higher, she would have had to make it wider in order to keep the same shape, but going wider would take up too much wall space and throw out the balance.
