Finally, I found what I needed after HOURS on RUclips and the internet trying to learn working with svg's and Cricut, and only I really learned is that it is sooooo frustrating. I've signed up for the Masterclass. So excited!
For the original floral design you traced, was that your own file you created/licensed, or did you just find it online and trace it? If it's the latter, would that be legal to sell, even if you added some text to it? Does the original copyright holder maintain rights even if there's been an alteration to their work? I'd hate to trace someone else's work only to have them angry when I try to make a sellable file that includes their work.
The original copyright holder maintains their rights. You can't just steal someone else's work and sell it as your own. People do it all the time though, unfortunately.

I’m having difficulty with even just the first step. I drew my own design in procreate then exported as a png with no background and now when I click on it and try and go to create outlines, the tab is greyed and won’t let me do it
