    Please folks...
    Don't fall for misinformation or disinformation.
    Any branded CR2016 battery will work besides Panasonic brand...
    I just installed a Duracell 2016 battery in my fob and it works perfectly fine and as designed...
    The Panasonic bots need to stop misleading people into going through the trouble of exclusively seeking out their brand of battery on this one...

    Besure to replace with PANASONIC branded battery otherwise the keyfob buttons wont work.

      Not true...
      Just replaced mine with a Duracell 2016 and it works perfectly fine, as designed and tested multiple times, even as I'm typing in this reply...
