that was a perfect instructional video! I called Toyota and they wanted me to have car towed using Toyota roadside assistance! Then I spoke with service advisor and he told me that I could take key and they could replace. That's when I remembered to look it up on RUclips. I've learned to use RUclips as my mechanic, plumber, therapist, etc. It's my go to resource for everything, just like my Bible! Thank you and God bless you for sharing.
I really appreciate your teaching. I've been struggling trying to fix this but I was putting the battery wrong and now my control works. Thank you very much 🙏🏽
Comment 100: I used instructions from another video went through all the steps, went downstairs to my car and...nothing! Didn't know what I did wrong. came back, looked up your video and your attention to detail and understanding made the difference. Took it aparent again, re-situated the battery, and VOILA! Thank you very much! Plus you have a cool accent ;)
The first tutorial i watched didn't show how they got the battery out, just how they got to the battery. Thank you for showing us how to get the battery out and a new one in. Considering that's the whole point of the tutorial. This was great.
Excellent video! I never change a key fob battery before. I watched the vid, got my $1.98 Duracell coin CR2016 battery in the mail from Amazon, got my dime & nickle coins to get to the battery & used the tip of a thin steak knife to pop the battery out. Done in a couple minutes! You made it so simple I'm a pro, LOL.
Thanks so much this worked perfectly for me. Very simple to do. It was easier to change the battery in the fob, then taking it out of the plastic packaging! My only tip (I got it from another video) is to tape the buttons down first before I did anything. This is what I like about RUclips…ppl that share good advice.
Very nicely done. Your instructions were very helpful and the use of coins was good. I used the paper insulator that comes with the Energizer battery to help keep my skin off the battery.
Great video. You should have an amazon affiliate link to the battery. It is more convenient for viewers to find the correct part and you can make money.
I so appreciate your very helpful video! They sure don’t make them like they used to, as my son’s 2017 key batteries both need replacing and my 20 year old Toyota Avalon’s keys battery have never needed replacing, still to this day.
You're perfectly thorough, Peter. Thank you for this - I own a '19 but just wanted to see how the older models worked as well. It's cool to see the progress Toyota makes from one generation to the next. The improvements are vast and many.
Thanks Peter for the video, You explained very clear and perfect. I did change it very well. It "s working now ! You are the best ! jGood Job !Many Thanks and Luv!
Fabulous job Peter! Love your videos...I found the replacement battery at Walmart and was easily able to replace it following your instructions. Well done as always...God bless and Merry Christmas 2021!
Hi Peter I always benefit from your videos. My question is that My Camry 2015 has two origional fobs and nither works. Initially I thought was the battery, but after replacing batteries still does not work. What else would you advise? Thanks

I put the new battery in and it doesn't work, did anyone have to do that manual reset? I put the old battery back in and it works after I drive, maybe it recharges while in the ignition? Anyhow with the new battery in it won't work, any ideas?
Hello sir Peter, i have a question, i hear a clanked noise on my left front tire everytime i hit ramps or small holes. Is it my bushing being worn out or something else? Please i want to know how to fix it.. thank you very much, from Canada

There is a faster video (just 2 min and 16 sec):

However, I like both videos, both are appreciated.
I'm thinking of doing it for the Canadian version on 30 sec.

I have read your post. Thank you for the message. 👍😀
Toyota should face a lawsuit for this horrible battery compartment engineering.
He says that the fatter coin is a quarter, but it is a NICKEL. Not a quarter.
Good point 👍
Viewers: Do yourself a favor and mute this video and just watch. Cannot decipher what language he is attempting to speak. Very annoying.
