People are the same now as they were in biblical days. The health food laws were given by God because he knew what was healthy for our bodies. He told us what we could eat and what not to eat. He made certain animals to be scavengers to clean up the earth to keep diseases under control. We are not suppose to eat scavengers. Our bodies have not changed since they were made. Common sense goes a long way sometimes and knowing God's word.

Thankful for this valuable info but I would like Dr. Axe to address the unclean foods that were mentioned in the Old Testament, like shellfish and all things pork. I have eliminated these foods from my diet while enjoying a clean diet.
