Yes snow and Christmas is always perfect, as I am from Hong Kong and we don't get any snow with the sub-tropical weather, we always have many fake snow on the Christmas decoration during Christmas time and imagine we are having a white Christmas, hahaha.
Japan’s milk fat is normally a 3.5% level, so having cereal as an exchange student was almost like being a kid again when you are used to 1%. So sweet. With the sweet potatoes you’ll hear trucks with a sound track, “yagaimo (sweet potato)”. They roasted them in the back as buy them steaming hot and fresh.
So interesting! Yeah the milk was so creamy it made the ice cream fantastic, even in the freezing cold hahaha. And cool! Have you had those roasted sweet potatoes before?
I have not been to Sapporo, let alone in the winter. We were looking at Aomori at the beginning of November last year, but cancelled our reservations and switched to March 2023. However, Aomori has some of Japan’s worst snow totals and we will not be going. Also you need to look for curry ramen which is different that curry rice.
@@WyattandReyka Aomori's curry ramen is called Miso Curry Milk Ramen, plus through on a pat of butter on top. So a miso ramen, but add Japanese curry power, milk together. Curry rice is just Japanese curry (not to say you couldn't do Thai or Indian, but Japanese curry can be very mild) usually made of beef, but can be combined with a fried pork cutlet for katsu curry. Curry Chain CoCo Ichibanya, does have some vegetarian options for their curry. Let alone how spicy you want to make it, or even putting cheese on it (I don't think that they have vegan cheese as an option).
