I miss Lost
In lost Jakob had a list of people to take over him in protecting the island, each had a number associated with them and the last 6 candidates to take over were numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42... Seems answered to me

Yeah, I've always thought that the real Syrio was dead before he ever met Arya. His whole, "what do we tell the god of Death- not today" thing seemed way too on the nose and Benioff and Weiss have said that Syrio is dead, without giving it much consideration. If Syrio was dead before he went from Bravos to King's Landing, the producers' statement(s) makes perfect sense (and we've seen that Joffrey's king's guard was kinda shit...). I REALLY doubt they killed him when he had the wooden sword and Sir Meryn Trant would have NEVER admitted that he was bested by "some Bravosi fool with a wooden sword." With Arya on her way out of King's Landing, the faceless man had kickstarted her adventure to Bravos (a city where her ambition, being a great sword fighter, was promised and it was away from the chaos in Westeros).

We never really got the chance to fully figure it out but the talk in the writers room was that Earl Jr.'s Dad was going to be someone famous. Like Dave Chappelle or Lil Jon. Someone that came to town on tour and Joy slept with. But when we got canceled we never got the chance to figure it out. I was worried about doing a cliffhanger but I asked NBC if it was safe to do one at the end of the season and they told me it was. I guess it wasn't.
I had always had an ending to Earl and I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to see it happen. You've got a show about a guy with a list so not seeing him finish it is a bummer. But the truth is, he wasn't ever going to finish the list. The basic idea of the ending was that while he was stuck on a really hard list item he was going to start to get frustrated that he was never going to finish it. Then he runs into someone who had a list of their own and Earl was on it. They needed to make up for something bad they had done to Earl. He asks them where they got the idea of making a list and they tell him that someone came to them with a list and that person got the idea from someone else. Earl eventually realizes that his list started a chain reaction of people with lists and that he's finally put more good into the world than bad. So at that point he was going to tear up his list and go live his life. Walk into the sunset a free man. With good karma.

Lost always talk about faith and destiny, in the lighthouse episode they explain that each number is one character, the use of this numbers made the characters end up on that island , at the end of lost you see all the characters in the purgatory and all of them are together because it was their destiny to end there

For the record, the meaning of the numbers on Lost was answered, just not on the TV show. Look up "the Valenzetti Equation" on Google. It might not satisfy you, but it satisfied me. :)

How did the ending of Terra Nova not end up on here? We never learn why the Pheonix Group went out to the badlands, or what that ship was doing in the container, or what happened to Lucas. Such a great show with no answers!

Chuck from Happy Days also disappeared. During the series finale, Howard says, "We brought up two wonderful children." Which means either Chuck never existed or he did something seriously wrong.
The series 'John Doe' ended with a major what-the-hell?!?!!? It only lasted one season and made us question a lot of what we previously saw.

Personally, I was not aware of what the finale of "Mork & Mindy" was like, but still, I miss the show because it was a great sitcom, and in my opinion, just better than NBC's "Third Rock from the Sun."
The numbers from Lost are actually explained, but never in the show itself. They represent the six factors of the Valenzetti Equation, which is what the Dharma Initiative was funded to do research into. That's a ridiculously disappointing answer, I know.
I like to think that even if Jesse Pinkman goes to prison I like to think he doesn't go for that long maybe 5 years. And then after that hangs out with skinny Pete and Badger. Maybe reconnects with his family.
Just wanna add emerald city only having one season having to find out Dorothy's mom was actually in the land of Oz and having to go back Oz at the end of the series aired in 2017 on NBC

The show Kyle XY ended on a huge cliff hanger...I was angry for awhile ...it was like making love and you get close to the top of the mountain but never peak! That was the only show that ended in a way that annoyed me for awhile.

My #1: whatever happened to Peter's Irish girlfriend who got stuck in the alternate dystopian timeline in "Heroes" season 2? I know this storyline got screwed up because of the writer's strike, but it always annoyed me that it was never referenced again, not even by Peter.

Lisa got killed by her brother in law in Six Feet Under with whom she WAS having an affair, but stopped since she started seeing Nate. The brother in law didnt like that and killed her. It was all revealed... We know for sure. Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean that wasn't the outcome.

Even though we don't really know what each number MEANS, each one seems to represent each of the most important characters on the show. A name was next to each number on the stone wall in that cave when Ford was in there. There were other numbers, too, scratched off. Maybe failed characters. Still don't know why the specific numerical value for each character. They didn't seem to be in particular order.
