Heath Ledger as Joker, Keanu Reeves as The One, Keanu Reeves as John Wick, Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Wesley Snipes as Blade.
Cristoph Waltz as Hans Landa. Imagine finding an actor who not only can deliver a perfect performance but was also already fluent in the three languages required. His performance was chilling. I felt anxious, nervous and already defeated even though I don't know anything yet 😅
Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Also, Richard Dawson as corrupt game show host Damon Killian in The Running Man was an absolutely brilliant bit of casting.

Julie Andrews is practically perfect in every way for Mary Poppins. Just as well that Audrey Hepburn got cast in My Fair Lady instead, as it freed up Julie to win an Oscar.

Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The single biggest no-brainer casting in Hollywood history. Seriously, that role was cast as early as 1987. It was just a matter of who would be directing him in the role.
Mary Poppins was BEFORE The Sound of Music. As a matter of fact, Julie Andrews took time off from the filming of TSOM to accept her Best Actress Oscar for MP.
There's no way Christopher Reeves should be an honourable mention. Without him, there'd be no superhero movies period. The Marvel & DC cinematic universes wouldn't exist furthermore be popular without him.
Jim Carrey as The Grinch - The Grinch (2000), Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - X-Men franchise (2000 - ), Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man - Spider-Man franchise (2002 - ) and J.K Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson - Spider-Man franchise (2002 - )
Ah yes-Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka was such an iconic part of my childhood! He will always be Willy Wonka to me! Although I’ve yet to check out Timothee Chalamet-it looks like he’s playing the younger version of Gene’s Willy which makes me happy.
Samuel L. Jackson as Jules Winnfield (Pulp Fiction)..."It's the one that says bad motherf*cker" Dennis Hopper as Frank Booth (Blue Velvet)..."I'll f*ck anything that moves!! HAHAHAHAHA..." Angela Bassett as Tina Turner (What's Love Got To Do With It)..."Is that supposed to scare me, huh?" Sidney Poitier as Virgil Tibbs (Heat Of The Night)..."They call me MISTER TIBBS!" Joe Pesci as Tommy DeVito (Goodfellas)..."Funny how? I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you?”

Allan Rickman in every role he did. But how could you leave out the holy trio of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Hugh Jackman in X men? Those 3 actors are 100% the reason that franchise was so successful.
Any role Robin Williams did was perfect for him. You shoudl do list of comedians who were good, perfect doing dramatic roles like Robin Williams, Jim, Jamie and Whoopi
Willem Dafoe as The Green Goblin Dave Grohl as The Devil in "Tenacious D " RDJ as his character in "Tropic Thunder " Vin Diesel as his character in "The Pacifier " Matthew Lillard as Norville "Shaggy" Rogers Felicia Day as Charlie in "Supernatural" Jim Carrey as Truman in "The Truman Show" Kaley Cuoco as Billie in "Charmed " I can go on for people (in my personal opinion)
Tom Cruise as Vincent in Collateral. Whatever people may think of Cruise IRL, he delivers as a complete, unredeemable, murderous psychopath in this movie. He should’ve been nominated for an Oscar as Best Actor. The only other role that Tom Cruise would’ve been perfect for - serial killer Ted Bundy. He would’ve been great.
Ron Perlman as Hellboy? Damn, even without the makeup the guy’s over 50% of the way there … … and Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange. Just because, okay?
Brian Cox made a better Hannibal - Tony Hopkins portrayal was too nutty - Brian made a more believable psychopath - someone who appeared rational, but wasn't.
1) I would have announced Robin Williams for Mork from Ork rather the GMV. 2) Keanu Reeves as John Wick is missing. 3) And finally the best Character(s) ever played by an Actor, imo, is Christian Bale in Le Prestige.
Did you know, that "I'll be back" originally comes from Czech(oslovakia) movie "Lemonade Joe"? Actually, full sentence is: "I'll be back, Doug Badman, and with me, with me will come the LAW!" :-))

Everything about him and his character just screams dinosaur expert. It's like he IS Alan Grant, and completely 100 percent dedicated to the role.
I've heard many times that on the many movies Robin Williams starred in, the crew would end up just letting him riff when he got on a roll... which was pretty much all of the time. His improvisational skills were top notch. A true legend
So it's no wonder that Robin was practically perfect for every role he was in, Sometimes he knew what the character would say and do even better than the scriptwriters themselves!
Johnny Depp-Jack Sparrow (c'mon......pirate attire AND black eyeliner? Hell's yeah!!!!!) Robin Williams-Genie, Mrs. Doubtfire Christopher Lloyd-Doc John Travolta-Vince Vega Eddie Murphy-Donkey Josh Gadd-Olaf Michael Keaton-Beetlejuice Samuel L. Jackson-Frozone
Bruce Willis as John McClane in the Diehard series. About as perfectly cast and iconic as it gets...and the first one is my favorite Christmas movie. 😂
Absolutely. Especially when you consider the other actors that were offered the role first, Stallone, Frank Sinatra, Richard Gere, Burt Reynolds etc. Bruce nailed it, couldn't imagine anyone else as McClane.
Thank you for calling Die Hard a Christmas movie. Just like It's A Wonderful Life or Miracle On 34th Street, only with a little more violence and swearing.
they themself leaked the footage because they had a very limited budget for a trailer and the trailer was so successful that FOX finally gave them the green light. i saw a latenight show where Ryan Reynolds talked about it.
What about Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man, James Earl Jones as Darth Vader, Christian Bale as Batman, Keanu Reeves as John Wick, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, and Ron Perlman as Hellboy?
Fun fact - Nick Fury was redrawn to look like Samuel L Jackson in the comics. They didn’t ask for Jacksons permission and he was a bit peeved about it. Jackson said they can keep using his image only if he would be the first and only choice to play Fury in live action. It worked out perfectly.
nah, tom holland was the perfect spiderman, i'm actually really upset that we only got 3 movies with him. tobey maguire looks too old to be a high school student. i do agree that christian bale has probably been the best batman so far (except for that weird voice), and i'm so glad carrey came back to comedy movies as robotnik because he fits the role so well. ron perlman is also the superior hellboy, sad that they recast him (with david harbor of all people?)
Fun Fact: Deadpool actually cast himself. In a Cable and Deadpool comic, he's briefly asked about his looks under the mask, and he describes himself as "if Ryan Reynolds was bitten by a radioactive Shar-pei".
i'm sure that was the comic writers acknowledging how reynolds' humor and delivery so closely mirrors deadpool's. you can see it in some of his earlier movies like "just friends" and "van wilder." he got the part because he's got the mouth that "the merc with a mouth" needs.
Ryan Reynolds talked in an interview about his time in Blade: Trinity. Apparently during production, Reynolds was trying to find some motivation for his character of Hannibal King. A studio exec handed Reynolds a stack of Deadpool comics and basically said to portray Wade as if he was real. After reading, Reynolds basically felt he was perfect for the role of Deadpool.
Liam Neeson as Oscar Schindler: He is way too handsome for that role, but damn did he act the shit out of it! Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow: No comment needed Mel Gibson as William Wallace: He had the proper amount of grit, depth and insanity for this semi-fictional role Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator: The flat delivery with the unnatural(non-Anglo) accent just fit right in Also: There are two types of people: Those who think of Harrison Ford as Han Solo, and those who think of him as Indiana Jones.
Harrison Ford is versatile enough to play just about anything. A highly underrated role: as Allie Fox in The Mosquito Coast (1986). Should have gotten an Oscar for that one.
I think Christopher Reeve deserves more than a honorable mention! I may be biased, he was the first celebrity that I found shares my birthday....so he has a special place in my heart!! Definitely need a part 2.
Meryl Streep was suppose to play Ellen Ripley in Aliens. At least the studio wanted her in the movie. She turned it down because her boyfriend John Cazale was dying. So Ridley Scott got his first choice, which was Sigourney Weaver. It was a perfect choice. Also Weaver and Streep were classmates.
speaking of meryl streep, though, she should get a mention for playing miranda priestley in "the devil wears prada." absolutely flawless casting there.
ledger's joker was the worst one until joaquin phoenix. honestly nobody has been able to capture the perfection of mark hamill's animated joker in live action.

Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime & James Earl Jones as Mufasa
Arnold Schwarzenegger as Conan or T-800
I believe that Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther should've gained honourable mentions.
Hence all These lists come from Personal Feelings you have done IT the best. I Just left a comment, what i think was missing😊

Heath Ledger as Joker, Keanu Reeves as The One,
Keanu Reeves as John Wick,
Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Wesley Snipes as Blade.
Heath Ledger as the Joker and Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles
Remember Jack also did a great joker. So that is why Heath would not be on this list.
Facts
True
Mark Hamill imo beats them all as joker
Heath Ledger's Joker sounds like an over the top nerd from high school stereotype. Corny.
Where on earth is Sylvester Stallone as Rocky? He was phenomenal
Fun fact: he cast himself.
He also wrote the screenplay and even had to sell his dog and car while waiting for a studio to pick up the script.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Nobody else could play Rocky.
@@jaaustin500And that's why he was perfect.
Cristoph Waltz as Hans Landa. Imagine finding an actor who not only can deliver a perfect performance but was also already fluent in the three languages required. His performance was chilling. I felt anxious, nervous and already defeated even though I don't know anything yet 😅
Agreed
Tom Hiddleston as Loki? He was perfect for the role
Very accurate statement.
you could fill this whole list with MCU characters, that casting was insanely on-point.
the whole MCU should be #1, period.
Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Also, Richard Dawson as corrupt game show host Damon Killian in The Running Man was an absolutely brilliant bit of casting.
Antonio Banderas - Zorro and Puss In Boots.

We could never imagine anyone replacing these amazing actors in their legendary roles. Man I always loved Christopher Reeve as Superman legit looked like the hero too
Ron Perlman as Hellboy
Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The single biggest no-brainer casting in Hollywood history.
Seriously, that role was cast as early as 1987. It was just a matter of who would be directing him in the role.
I was hoping to see Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump or Viktor from The Terminal, but everyone from list really deserves a place!
I love Reese Witherspoon in "Election" so much!

Everyone seems to be saying Heath Ledger as Joker, but Joaquin Phoenix was just as good

Michal J Fox as Marty Mc Fly is very iconic and should be in this list.

Jeff Goldblum as Seth Brundle in Fly

Allan Rickman in every role he did.

speaking of meryl streep, though, she should get a mention for playing miranda priestley in "the devil wears prada." absolutely flawless casting there.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine should have been on this list.
Only controversy in Johnny Depth's personal live is that he's a victim of domestic abuse that no one believed for so long
that whole thing with the dogs and Australia was a little bit.... privileged....
Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse in Beetlejuice (1988)
Jim Carrey as the Grinch
Glenn Close as Cruella DeVil in 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians
Oh, Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. Brilliant.
Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik...He was absolutely made for that role. 🧏🏿♂️
Dont forget about the Mask 👍
He was also great as Andy Kauffman in Man on the Moon.
Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura. Don't think anyone could have pulled it off.
Wtf? Heath Ledger as The Joker is the most iconic actor character portrayal ever, not even a mention.. Wow
ledger's joker was the worst one until joaquin phoenix. honestly nobody has been able to capture the perfection of mark hamill's animated joker in live action.
@@dietotaku Worst you say... he won an Oscar for his legendary performance !
