Stupid plot, even worse costume. Why WB/DC can’t just stop overthinking things and give fans a good version of the source material like marvel & Amazon/Sony
@@Kalel2.0 it actually looked pretty accurate to the first new 52 reverse flash/dark flash - Daniel West. But im still not really a fan of the whole sequence
And sometimes when the costumes are accurate to the comic book, they still look goofy. In that case, it’s a no-win situation. The Fantastic Four films and the 1990 made for video Captain America would be excellent examples.
@melissawickersham9912 Fair point. Good thing the 2000's FF movie costumes and the MCU Captain America suits are a lot better and it was a necessary change and redesign. Not everything has to look just like in the comics all the time.
8:37 Fox had comic accurate concept art for Apocalypse and in the words of Th3Birdman, Fox went *"Nah, we know better than Jackson Guice, fuck him"* 12:39 Why can't they use simple Reverse Flash?
13:23 - Literally not a single human being alive on this Earth would say "green" after seeing their friend turn into a superhero. Stupid dialogue for a stupid movie.
Madame Web......everyone.....damn...lol...I thought the suits were pretty good. You just barely seen them...now those island spider men..they looked ridiculous!
Agreed. They were so boring. I personally prefer the garish Schumacher Batman movie look to the Singer X-Men film costumes. As least Schumacher's Batman costumes are visually stimulating.
Corman's Fantastic 4 is the most comic accurate version we've gotten. Given the no budget and the 90's release it surpasses the 2000's FF. That Dr.Doom is stellar compared to the other 2 live action versions.
Thirty-four years later, still cannot get over how there isn’t a single shot of Captain America, from the 1990 movie, where he doesn’t look like an idiot. NOT ONE!!! That has to have been intentional.
Yeah even Linkara would put a permanent end to that running gag of the "Nostalgia Critic" when he reviewed the comic adaptation of "Batman & Robin" which by the way didn't have the Bat credit card in it there
Yes, but the Bat-family costumes were the worst. Poison Ivy looked vaguely like her comic-book counterpart in some scenes, and I like aspects of Arnie's look (including the blue makeup, bald head and the dressing gown).
At least they largely got Bane right in Batman & Robin… Mr Freeze’s suit has grown on me over the years, but mostly because of the “Batman & Robin: the Musical” parody video that was made Seriously it actually makes the movie look like it had potential… also check out their “Commando: The Musical” and “Terminator 2: The Musical” … both are superb
Green Lantern was not a bad costume and it is unfairly criticized for being CGI. If the ring makes the costume, CGI makes perfect sense. Captain America 1990 looks great for the budget and trying to look like the comics.
A dishonorable mention goes to the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spiderman 2 (2014). That Green Goblin portrayed by Dane DeHaan was awful & terrible, the same goes for Rhino in that movie portrayed by Paul Giamatti. The Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's first Spiderman film from 2002 was more tolerable than in the 2014 film.
You can't really fault the older movies because of limitations back then. But from 2000 and and should have no excuse. And the exception of those other movies that just didn't try
Did you guys forget about Dolph Lungren's Punisher, Shaq's Steel, Reb Brown's Captain America, or the entire cast of that unaired pilot for the Justice League, or was this only for theatrical releases?

He proceeds to tell him it's so when he finally realizes what everyone else does about how sad Bullseye is, he has a target to aim for when he kills himself.

Me not totally being surprised that Hailey Berry's Catwoman was in this list
Dark Flash's costune wasn't meant to be seen as a costume, but a result of Young Barry's countless attempts to save his world
Felt like a cheap version of Savitar from the show
They can just solve it with Reverse Flash but didn't
It was a stupid idea
Stupid plot, even worse costume. Why WB/DC can’t just stop overthinking things and give fans a good version of the source material like marvel & Amazon/Sony
@@Kalel2.0 it actually looked pretty accurate to the first new 52 reverse flash/dark flash - Daniel West. But im still not really a fan of the whole sequence
Wait a minute? There was a 1994 Fantastic Four movie?😭
It was never officially released... But pirated copies are out there.
It was a Roger Corman production made solely so he could keep hold of the license, and was never intended to be released.
@@bgcloon oh I see. Good to know
You can watch it on RUclips.
Lesson learned: Sometimes, when filmmakers want to go in a different direction with comic book costumes, they mess up.
The studio can also come with the worst ideas for the sake of toy sales
And sometimes when the costumes are accurate to the comic book, they still look goofy. In that case, it’s a no-win situation. The Fantastic Four films and the 1990 made for video Captain America would be excellent examples.
@melissawickersham9912 Fair point.
Good thing the 2000's FF movie costumes and the MCU Captain America suits are a lot better and it was a necessary change and redesign.
Not everything has to look just like in the comics all the time.
I agree @@jeuryrabassa4724
@@jeuryrabassa4724 Even the comics get redesigns every now and then. So nothing is entirely comic-accurate, only comic-accurate to a specific period.
I still don’t see how Kristen Wiig was casted as a villain in a non-satire film
She did look hot when she transformed. I might have a bias since I'm a bit into Furries.
And she was actually the best part of Wonder Woman 1984.
8:37 Fox had comic accurate concept art for Apocalypse and
in the words of Th3Birdman, Fox went *"Nah, we know better than Jackson Guice, fuck him"*
12:39 Why can't they use simple Reverse Flash?
"Batman & Robin" only got Poison Ivy's first cotume right; namely the leotard and thights she wears when discarding the monkey suit.
You know the Batman with the nipples on here
13:23 - Literally not a single human being alive on this Earth would say "green" after seeing their friend turn into a superhero. Stupid dialogue for a stupid movie.
Madame Web......everyone.....damn...lol...I thought the suits were pretty good. You just barely seen them...now those island spider men..they looked ridiculous!
Rubber nipples is the worst they done to DC
Didn't like The Juggernaut's outfit in X3 he looked more like a Transformer than an X-Men bad guy. 🙅🏿♂️
He looked like Shao Kahn.
Before thie video is over.....easily the worst superhero suit .....Steel!!!
Most of the first X-Men costumes were bad
Agreed. They were so boring. I personally prefer the garish Schumacher Batman movie look to the Singer X-Men film costumes. As least Schumacher's Batman costumes are visually stimulating.
Deadpool and Wolverine will finally give us Wolverine's costume.
No. 20, let's hope in James Gunn's revitalized DCU Black Canary will get a more faithful and accurate look ripped straight from the comics there then
Corman's Fantastic 4 is the most comic accurate version we've gotten. Given the no budget and the 90's release it surpasses the 2000's FF. That Dr.Doom is stellar compared to the other 2 live action versions.
You're drunnk on eggnog kid.
though bad, Caps costume in the 90s movie was accurate...just poorly made
Thirty-four years later, still cannot get over how there isn’t a single shot of Captain America, from the 1990 movie, where he doesn’t look like an idiot. NOT ONE!!! That has to have been intentional.
Where's Mystique in Dark Phoenix, it deserved to be in the top 3
My personal pick: Thor from The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988)
17:10 A BAT CREDIT CARD!!! 😡
Yeah even Linkara would put a permanent end to that running gag of the "Nostalgia Critic" when he reviewed the comic adaptation of "Batman & Robin" which by the way didn't have the Bat credit card in it there
"The problem with these movies wasn't the race and gender swapping, and for sure it wasn't the woke ideology, it was the costumes" -WatchBlackrock
Batman & Robin should have been ALL costumes
Yes, but the Bat-family costumes were the worst. Poison Ivy looked vaguely like her comic-book counterpart in some scenes, and I like aspects of Arnie's look (including the blue makeup, bald head and the dressing gown).
Please don't make the super suit green or animated. More serious words were never spoken..
5:53 Not Only does the cgi I look bad But I felt that Kristen Wiig was not the right casting choice considering Cheetah is British in the comics
Justin Whalin Super Capers (2009) a Movie So forgettable that It sounds like a Cartoon Show
1970's Dr. Strange as Dr. Disco? Generation X? The villains of Mystery Men?
The General Zod costume was not bad for the time. It just didn't age well
Somebody seriously needs to make a Goth ABBA cover album! This needs to be a thing.
Worst on this list? BarakaKanoPool
At least they largely got Bane right in Batman & Robin…
Mr Freeze’s suit has grown on me over the years, but mostly because of the “Batman & Robin: the Musical” parody video that was made
Seriously it actually makes the movie look like it had potential… also check out their “Commando: The Musical” and “Terminator 2: The Musical” … both are superb
The costumes in these movies look like they got them at the clearance rack at the dollar store. 😂🎉
Bot
I completely disagree with Zod, as that is the reason he became a popular villain.
Green Lantern was not a bad costume and it is unfairly criticized for being CGI. If the ring makes the costume, CGI makes perfect sense.
Captain America 1990 looks great for the budget and trying to look like the comics.
Most COSPLAYS I’ve seen are better than these actual movie costumes
A dishonorable mention goes to the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spiderman 2 (2014). That Green Goblin portrayed by Dane DeHaan was awful & terrible, the same goes for Rhino in that movie portrayed by Paul Giamatti. The Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's first Spiderman film from 2002 was more tolerable than in the 2014
film.
Hello good afternoon 😮😅😮🎉

@@BlackHatCinephile your medals are pointless spam and that's facts
You can't really fault the older movies because of limitations back then. But from 2000 and and should have no excuse. And the exception of those other movies that just didn't try
The worst costume in super hero movie history is easily the Deadpool faker.
Worst part about Batman and Robin movie was that the nipples were on the wrong costumes! Not Batgirl's!
Did you guys forget about Dolph Lungren's Punisher, Shaq's Steel, Reb Brown's Captain America, or the entire cast of that unaired pilot for the Justice League, or was this only for theatrical releases?
They also left out Harley Quinn from her solo film.
Dude, Dolph looked sweet. The only thing missing was the skull but whatever, that comes and goes even in the comics
Barb Wire is definitely a blast from the past, i totally forgot about the that film!
Just admit it.. only Lynda Carter could make the Wonder Woman costume work at all!
6:59 Personally, I thought the heroes' costumes were terrific because they looked like they were pulled from the comics.
Elektra was a spinoff, not a sequel
Was it not both?
@@corbinowens2437 Elektra is a 2005 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Elektra Natchios and directed by Rob Bowman. It is a spin-off from the film Daredevil (2003), with Jennifer Garner reprising her role as the titular character. The story follows Elektra, an assassin who must protect a man and his prodigy daughter from another assassin who was hired by the Hand. Goran Višnjić, Will Yun Lee, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Terence Stamp also star.
So the answer is no.

I agree with many. General Zod,Superman II is child movie😊Naive, easy. I like Fantastic Four before this you mentioned. Barb Wire bad costume. She want's to be an actress🙂I agree about Madame Webb. I watched a video analysis how bad it is. I agree. Wrote comment too. Joker Suicide Squad is very bad. Very bad. Green Lantern too. I don't like Sabertooth. I don't agree with comment. He looks psychotic and evil. Very bad. Catwoman costume is pretty bad too. They should make her like in Arkham. I agree about Batman and Robin. Very bad. You know it's them, you see it. Everyone sees it. I thought it's Ivy. Talking to herself after meeting Bruce so everyone can here. Great list
Black Canary's costume is not a costume it's her casual wear.
Also I liked the original Zod suit, it was good for the 70s. Same for Jaugernaght in Last Stand.
4tastic's Doom looks scary and is the only thing I like about that movie. I also like 2000s Sabertooth, WW84 Cheetah, and Apocalypse.
I also actually like the Madame Web costumes, they looked interesting, too bad the movie sucked.
And Dark Flash is pretty scary.
Everything else l agree with.
7:51 oh, that’s why my grandma liked it
just when i was starting to forget about George Clooney Batman, you bring him up again........
Other than the ugly mask. The Cat Woman costume was amazing.
And Barbwire was pretty good also.
