I believe he managed to save some Stuff, but this was a much needed re-stock as it were. As for Juliette you have to bare in mind that she was someone who had never grown up with the Power she had and also had no training, She was quite literally drunk on power and being driven insane by it to boot. Only when she was captured by Hadrian wall and given training and Being shown she was not top dog did she manage to gain control. what she did was wrong for sure, but I think of it more as temporary insanity and she wasn't in control of her actions.

I really wished we could have seen more of uncle Felix! He resembles Monroe in so many traits, only with books instead of clocks! I kind of feel a certain affinity with him since I too love books! I was saddened by his death although when Monroe pointed out that, like a real Blutbad, he put up quite a fight I was a bit less sad. I disagree a bit with the title of this video though: Felix did not hate Trubel, he was merely caught by surprise that Nick had brought another Grimm with him. Without doubt for him it was already a major shock meeting one Grimm (and Felix, most likely, had prepared himself for that) but meeting two Grimm was totally unexpected and so he was sort of overcome by his instinct and snarled in a defensive/threatening manner to which Trouble responded in a equally aggressive manner (which is understandable considering her experiences before learning of Grimm).
I don't think Uncle Felix "hates" Trubel. He just wasn't expecting two Grimms to show up. He was expecting Nick, but seeing a second Grimm surprised him; he probably thought Nick had decided to double-cross him and just take the books.
theory: he's Monroe's mother's brother, yet he has a German accent, while she doesn't, so I think, he grew up in Germany, while his sister (Monroe's mom) was prolly born in, or grew up in America, maybe, maybe not, you decide
We're talking one-of-a-kind, handwritten journals... some of them possibly a thousand years old (or more). In reality, you'd probably be talking $100,000 EACH if sold at a rare books auction or something. A hundred grand for 20 of 'em would be a steal. Not that I will ever in my life see a hundred grand, but still... it's all relative.
Even then, this was a dire straight for him, and he was still trying to get money for it. He should have given it to Nick in exchange for X hours protection. He gets rid of the books, and gains protection of a Grimm. Would have been a Win/Win.
The problem is how valuable they are. They are so valuable who ever owns them WILL get killed for them. Not just a "might be killed" the people after the books will kill for them. To risky for someone old and alone to have, especially when the people after the books, know who has them. He needed the money so he could spend it traveling around the world avoiding the ones after the books until he lost them, or they learned he no longer has them, and who has them now. So they don't hunt him down and torture that information out of him.
@@WolfFireheart Yeah he basically needed the money in order to go on the run for awhile and he was underselling them because he needed the money quickly. But he should have stayed with Rosalie and Monroe at least.
A whole set of related books is always more valuable to a collector than a single volume, so that would certainly jack up the price for these books even more.
scared and overwhelmed, two of your mortal enemies showing up must be jaring. Even knowing that Nick is friendly wouldnt be enough to suppress fight or flight instincts
Esta serie es inmortal. Los personajes principales y los extras. Felix es genial. Amo esta serie. Y este capitulo es buenisimo Es ficcion. Cuentos. Comico y tenebrosa. La mejor historia.
If I meet Truble I would be scared and hateful at first sight (literally w/ those eyes of infinite darkness) but like Uncle Felix I will be able to see how cool and badass she is!!! Also IF a fight were to ever break out I think we all know who the winner would be
He was scared, I would be scared too if people know to hunt my people are in my house and can possibly end my loved ones and I. He is nerdy and cute like his nephew
Agreed. Also Blutbaden; like real world wolves, are FIERCELY PROTECTIVE of family so two Grimms so near to his sisters’ boy and his wife would immediately trigger that defensive / protective instinct whether Nick was a friend of Munroe and Rosalie or not.
for a serialized show the transformation effects really do stand up well to scrutiny who ever was in charge of the VFX did a great job a of handling all those transitions..
@@Destiny2Seishi Monroe kills them savagely and when Nick looks at him, he spits out their blood and says `my uncle was a good man`. Now there is a nephew to be proud of.
If... If this 'Grimm dictionaries' can be copied using Xerox, Canon, Konica or any ordinary photocopy machines. I think it'll help when the original book perished because of unidentified reason.
Is it just me or are female Grimms more agressive than male? Sure we only saw Nick as a male Grimm but both his mother and his aunt were pretty agressive. We can assume that aunt Marie and Kelly had someone to explain to them what being a Grimm meant. However, even though both Nick and Trubel didn't know what they were in the beginning, Nick was never agressive or immediately jumping into killing mode like Trubel. It is just something curious to consider. I wonder if it is like with many animal species in which the female is more agressive than the male.
I think that in Trubel's case she only experienced the "bad" ones. It make sense she was a street kid and had a rough life before meeting Nick. Any "normal" wesen wouldn't have interacted with her on a regular basis. The only other male Grimm we see is Bernard (don't remember his character name in this show, so going with his Lost character). And he is also calm but will fight when needed to. So it is possible but not really known for sure.

200,000, they're history alone would probably make it even more than that, though.
My price would be F*****G SPINOFF
Priceless. You should give it to someone who will take good care of it
$215,000

The fact that he spoke so passionately about the book and went into such in dept explanation really shows the fact he is Monroe's uncle
Yup, that is exactly what Monroe's face says at 03:07.
Imagine if Juliette never burned down nicks trailer, he’d have so many Grimm books and relics.
Yup i hated her so much at that time
Such a dumb thing

Yep he's definitely your uncle is probably one of the best lines in the entire series!!!😂
Given everything Felix said about the books' history, $100,000 for twenty of them is probably generously under-priced.

When uncle Felix starts talking about how he could not bring himself to destroy the books it sounds like something monroe would say.
Wow Félix is like the coolest person after Nick's mom
She was a good fighter and what she did for Adalind and Diana but her old fashioned mentality as a Grimm was wrong.
$100,000 for 20 Grimm books = $5000 per book. That's a steal if you ask me.
Particularly since to a collector, sets of books are more valuable collectively than each book would be individually.
