Great advice, this is an amazing path. I started off with Angela Yu's Python course on Udemy then after some time did the cs50 course which took me from a script Andy to a gigachad system dev, currently rewriting Arch with Rust in Vim btw.

Thanks for these tips Luca. This applies to me because I just started learning coding and im trying to transition to software engineering from Cybersecurity. Im not a unicorn, i dont have any connections, and i dont have great people skills. Im just an ordinary average guy, so I will work and grind my butt off to make this work,

I'm new to this channel what are the thoughts on coding boot camps like bloomtech or flatiron, shecodes etc. I'm in a bachelor's program now and I've been thinking maybe I should've enrolled in a boot camp

if you are in school I don’t recommend bootcamp you can always enroll in a relevant degree which is more valuable atm for most companies

Hi!! Just wondering what “topic” to start out with on Harvard CS50. I know you mentioned algorithm and others… is introduction to programming with Python the best to start with?

If you don’t have any programming experience you can start with intro to Python. Otherwise the syntax may not make the most sense. Good luck!
