I mix these in with regular spaghetti. 2/3 zoodles, 1/3 regular spaghetti. Put on the sauce and any toppings as you normally would. You've just cut 2/3 of the calories out of the dish and you really won't miss the extra pasta. You get a nice big plate of food, bumped up the nutrition and lowered the calories! Easiest way to cook is to add them in with the spaghetti for the last 2 minutes of cooking.

I sauteed some mushroom, onion and garlic first. Removed that from pan and sauteed the zoodles. Added the veggies back to the pan with the cooked zoodles and added 2 heaping tablespoons of diced tomatoes. Sautee all together for another minute. Delicious!

I've been making zoodles with my veggeti since it came out! :) I use zoodles in pho instead of rice noodles, with a cottage cheese sauce as an alfredo, with homemade marinara sauce as spaghetti, just fried up with garlic and pepper and sometimes just steamed with mrs dash salt free seasonings! Zoodles are great!

We cooked them in the pan with avocado oil, but I guess that part doesn't matter, as any healthier oil should do, and we put lean ground chicken with Classico pasta sauce on top, and sprinkled parmesan cheese. I picked up a veggetti spiralizer after watching this video. My favorite way is to serve zoodles with light Alfredo sauce and baked chicken. I do my weekly meal prep with raw zoodles covered in sauce, then when I want to eat my meal, I only need to microwave everything for 2 minutes and it's all perfectly cook. Remember to use less sauce than you think you would need when meal prepping, because zoodles release some water and thin out the sauce: you don't want zoodle soup, jut zoodle sauce. Also I love using yellow squash, the yellow color really makes it taste like pasta lol.

I'm making teriyaki chicken and will also cook zoodles with the same sauce. I only have one metre of intestine left after many operations to remove blocked parts of my intestine due to having crohns disease since I was a little girl. This really restricts how much I can eat and also whether I can digest things or not. I also have other illnesses that complicate my nutrition and I was given two years to live eleven years ago when I was 32 but I'm determined to live to see my niece and nephew grow up even though my health and ability to do things is becoming worse. The hardest part was having to give up teaching and being a foster Mum. I also have aspergers which means I don't like trying new food and the texture of food is a big deal for me. I also struggle to eat combinations of food for example I would never eat a stir-fry but I will eat the ingredients separately. So I will have teriyaki chicken on one side of my plate and teriyaki zoodles on the other (it frustrates me so I can only imagine how hard it was for my Mum when I was little). Over the past few years I've been challenging myself to try a new food item every couple of weeks. This week it's courgettes so I appreciate your knowledge on this. Thank you. Xx

I was wondering if the "Zoodles" had to be cooked, but I read a previous comment below and I think some people also like it in its raw form. I really like how compact, portable and easy it is to use the Veggetti. I just got the Veggetti PRO and I can't wait to try it out on Zucchini and other vegetables. Thank you for sharing that great tool. I will buy it from Amazon. I will add mushrooms and a few tablespoons of tomato sauce and garlic and it will be a delicious spaghetti dinner without the fattening traditional noodles. Thank you for this video!

I just bought a new spiralizer today and-ahh... It's great. Now, I never gave zucchinis the time of day, but boy oh boy was I missing out. It's hella good. It's a great substitute for pasta. If I want it plain, I'll simply steam it and add a lil' Himalayan pink sea salt to it. If I wanna be cute then I'll simply make some mango/avocado sauce and it's all good.

Hi- I have stopped cutting the stem end off first because the teeth of handle bite into it better and don't strip out your zucchini!

Great video, Dani! I was wondering if anyone has ever used them as a substitute for Hash Browns? I love a cheesy, sausage breakfast casserole and was wondering if you could bake the Zoodles without having them get soggy. Anyone?

My favorite way to eat zoodles is raw. I top them with my favorite homemade sauce and that's about it. I prefer their raw texture, it's more like "al dente" pasta.

I use "zoodles" (zucchini noodles) in place of the traditional spaghetti noodles for spaghetti. I love it. :)
