@Ry-bz7rp maghrib is a short prayer but it's been narrated sometimes the prophet peace be upon him prolonged it so in general the prayer is short but no problem if you make it long .and Allah knows
Take care with the children I don't know how old they are but do not copy the Jews overwhelming them with book knowledge Too much too soon. Begin at age 7 seriously and implement your daily program not before age 10 it is counter productive for the development of their minds they cannot be on the same program as an adult don't forget physical activity Social interaction with their peers is a must as well. May allah make it easy for you by your intention.

I heard before that Maqrib was one of the shortest prayers if not the shortest prayer of the Prophet ﷺ
