Ah, akhi! Wallahi Ustad, Allah is the only reason I love you. And may Allah provide you the ilmatun nafiyan and barakah, as well as blessings. Insha Allah, I want to meet you in person sometime. I'm from Bangladesh. May Allah fulfil my desire. You could say that meeting you once in a lifetime is my wish; it's a dream come true for me. Should this not be possible here, may Allah see you in Jannatul Firdous. Ameen. 🌧🇧🇩
It was reported that the Prophet (SAAS) stayed up all night, standing until his feet became swollen. When he was asked, “Why are you doing this, when Allâh has forgiven all your past and future wrong actions?” he replied, “Should I not be a grateful slave?” (al-Bukhârî, Muslim) The Prophet (SAAS) told Mu‘âdh (RA): “By Allâh, I love you, so do not forget to say at the end of every salâh, ‘O Allâh, help me to remember You and to give thanks to You and to worship You well’” (Ahmad, at-Tirmidhî). Hishâm ibn Urwah said: “Among the du‘â of the Prophet (SAAS) is: ‘O Allâh, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You and to worship You well.’” Ibn ‘Abbâs (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAAS) said: “There are four qualities, whoever is given them has truly been given the best in this world and the next. They are: a grateful heart (that is thankful to Allâh), a remembering tongue (that mentions Allâh often), an enduring body (to persevere through the trials which Allâh may send), and a faithful wife (who does not cheat him of her body or his wealth).” Al-Qâsim ibn Muhammad reported from ‘Ā’ishah (RA) that the Prophet (SAAS) said: “No blessing is bestowed on a slave and he realizes that it is from Allâh, but the reward of giving gratitude for it is written for him. Never does Allâh know the regret of His slave for a wrong action he has committed, but Allâh forgives his wrong action before the slave seeks forgiveness. No man buys a garment with his own money then puts it on and thanks Allâh, but Allâh will have forgiven him all his wrong action before the garment reaches his knees.” The Prophet (SAAS) said: “Allâh is pleased with His slave if, when he eats something, he thanks Allâh for it, and when he drinks something, he thanks Allâh for it” (Muslim).
Thawban reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best wealth is a tongue that remembers Allah, a grateful heart, and a believing wife to help one in his faith.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3094 Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Tirmidhi
Yah Ustadh. I know a family who's surname is Fakier and they've been poor generation after generation. Would it be beneficial for them to change their surname?
Assalamu aleykoum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, rizq comes from Allah, not from a surname. May Allah Subhanahua t'ala ease the affairs of the family, Ameen
What greater purpose is there but to worship the rabb, the sustainer, the creator, the maintainer and earn his mercy. And then passing that on to your kids and leading the household and gaining barakah from that.
Mixing and involving too much with worldly life is exactly why Muslim world is in shambles. One need only look at the golden era of Islam, when people were arguably more pious, and falsehood and fitnah was not spread so far and wide. Both the dunya and the akhirah were given to the early generations! We believe this to be a favour from Allah swt. As Umar RA said, we only seek honour through Islam (or something like it) not via worldly means
Today's muslims are already giving too much importance to the dunya and that's exactly why the Islamic nations are in shambles today! The Muslim populations want to do away with Islamic etiquette and Usher in concerts and crop tops and call out their leader in public and protest. One need only look at the golden era of Islam when Muslim intellectuals led in field of dunya as well, and the ummah was definitely more mindful of Allah and had taqwa higher than what is seen today. It is indeed through Islam you are honoured, not through anything from the dunya , as Umar RA said
@@senzududethere is no separation between the secular world and religious world in Islam. Enjoying time with your family can be worship, being good to people can be worship, being clean and taking care of yourself can be worship. Fear Allah. And be patient with knowledge.
