Dear mam , this video provides nice information about modifiers and i really appreciate it , referring to this sentence "and she called her mother " kindly i would love to lead your attention towards a little mistake if i am not wrong about that , here the word " Her" is not a Pronoun, it's a Possessive Adjective because it is not a case of direct object where the word " her" becomes an Object Pronoun but we already have a direct object in the sentence which is " Mother " . The first sentence is correct " Jill gave the phone to Sally, and she called her mother". why it is correct ? ..... because the Pronoun " she" replaces the word " Sally". As we all know that " a pronoun replaces a Noun ". And what will happen if we don't replace a Noun with pronoun ? .... then we will have to repeat the word " Sally" all the time in the conversation and the conversation will end up like a mess. This is my opinion and i would love to know more if there is any mistakes in my opinion. It's only the errors that make us perfect.
The first sentence was clearer prior to change. If you know the thematic role of the verb "gave" , you could see that "Jill" as the source and agent, gave the phone to "Sally" - the recipient. So, Jill's role ended and subsequent modifiers refer to Sally (in this particular sentence). Sorry but the sentence made more sense before you changed it.

Have i lost my skills to criticise? I hope not . Yes . This is very true.
The normal is Tim sold only two tacos . The French adjective can confuse since they predominantly put adjectives after nouns.

what a great video, thanks for the help.
I was ,actually ,thinking that I could have written sth the other way round. I didn't switch the order.
5:07 HER NAME IS JILL

If you use names , the confusion is less likely.
You are awesome. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for the great video. Just one thing that I didn't like is the way the word /sentence/ is pronounced.
