    Now I got the = meaning. Transitive n intransitive. I really got ahead a long step. Thanks . I used to know most aspects . This is nice. I know grammar n its terms.

    How do I change the two following sentences from passive to active voice structures?
    Jerry is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lena (Hewes) Mills, daughter, Tammy Mills, and son, Michael Mills,
    all of Plainfield, New Hampshire; sister, Susie Armstrong of Florida; and brother, Percy Mills of Lyndeborough,
    New Hampshire.
    In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Labine and Irene Hill; brother,
    Garnett Mills; and thirteen half-siblings.

    In French the transitives take être in passé composé . Verbs of movement , state n process. Réflexives take the be-verb. I believe this is concise in all languages . In the main. I get this.

    Now I know why I never did well in English. Take something simple,make as confusing as humanely possible. Half way through totally lost😢.really see no differance in sate verbs

    Subject + verb + object = transitive Active voice
