  • In this video, we are testing if DPF really makes power, not only that, with an intake and exhaust. This is what you can expect from modding your MK6 TDI.
I enjoy making content like this, testing equipment, and discovering what power something makes. Amazing! If you only have so much money, what will you buy? I hope this video will help.

The horsepower is relative to what dyno you use. The dyno I was on is a Mustang dyno, if your on a Dynojet that's what a lot of companies use because they run fairly close together no matter where you are, but they have quite a bit of correction.
I just use the Mustang to show percentage increases.
It's quite noticeable let me tell you.

No, I've previously done the same test with a golf previously where it was only Stage 2 no delete tune.

    Hi
I made some comments on your other channel before I saw this.
Would be awesome to dyno the CP3 conversion.
I did mine earlier this spring and saw huge gains seat of the pants.
I did timing belt kit, CP3 conversion, Fluidamper “vdamper” & aluminum lower timing cover.
How much gain came from CP3 conversion and how much came from fluidamper I’m not sure, but both are awesome upgrades.
I already had a buzzken downpipe, Banks “cat back” exhaust, German Diesel Motorwerks EGR delete, Euro CR170 clutch (6sp) and Malone stg 2 tune.
I bought the car new used from someone freaking about the diesel gate. I have ran 5w-40 synthetic in it since I got it with 17k miles.

      @SouthdownGarage  Год назад

      What a find, that's awesome.
I'm going to start looking into the CP3 conversion.
I'm also switching to 5w40. I bought mine after it was bought back from VW, when they flooded the market a few years ago. It had less then 40k miles on it.

The fluid damper “vdamper” a machine shop machines fluidamper meant for 2.0 gas VW to work in TDI applications.
I have a 6 speed manual and what I noticed immediately was the gearbox chatter with the O2M transaxle was gone. I had already upgraded to a CR170 dual mass flywheel clutch, as my first experiment with a single mass flywheel killed the synchronizer’s and I had to swap transaxles.
Between the upgraded dual mass flywheel and later the fluidamper I have smooth shifting and zero gearbox clatter like I did when the car was first tuned and deleted.

Also the aluminum lower timing cover is a needed upgrade as the stock plastic cover deforms over time and can rub on the timing belt. This can potentially lead to a timing belt failure and catastrophic engine damage. I feel doing the below upgrades all at once:
      -Cp3 conversion
      - deluxe timing belt kit with upgraded metal impeller water pump
      - vdamper harmonic balancer
      -aluminum belt cover
Was a great synergistic set of needed upgrades

      @@SimonWatson-zv1cy whats your correction factore?
On a mustang dyno you'll get two readings, corrected which is dyno jet numbers and uncorrected which is what the mustang dyno reads.
Depending on the dyno, they may give you the Dyno Jet numbers.
If you look back to our fist video of the series we dyno'd this stock. The whole point is to show percentages of increase. So if a dyno reads lower, you take the percentage of increase over stock.
Stock these things only make 118 - 120 hp at the wheels. We tested both a golf and jetta and found identical results.
If you did these mods and test it on the dyno you took yours to, the percentage gained would be the same. Your hp and torque number would be higher then ours.
