  • Join us on the hill with Peter Gibbon for Rod's first guided Highland Red Deer Stalk. Back in April at the Stalking Show Rod won a guided Stag stalk with Peter Gibbon, which was a wee bit ironic as stalking deer is what Rod does for a living. However being from the South of Scotland - he'd never done much in the way of Highland Stalking and so this was a good opportunity to experience a different kind of stalking.
A huge thank you to Wells Sporting and Peter Gibbon for having us!

Thank you so much for capturing the moments of the day on film most of the time our focus is on getting the guest into an animal and have no time to take it all in this was great to see myself doing what I love.

It was a bloody good day. Those deer knew exactly where to bed up in the most awkward place to approach. That was an epic stalk in with three of us and managing to get it all on film.
Very hard to put across just how hard that stalk in was.

Great film Charlie. I've spent a lifetime stalking in Devon and now in Ireland. I've had four days stalking in Scotland, and your film rekindled so many happy memories. Thank you.

@tomhopkinson4626 Kuiu icon - we use them as roe / sika sacks at work and to carry our gear in Colorado. They're a great bit of of kit 😊

@tomhopkinson4626 If you are looking to carry a rifle then their pro divide pack system is definately the best choice. It has all the same features of the older packs but the option to load the rifle into the pack in more ways. They have instructional videos if you want to find out more.

If it is just a rifle and a bit of lunch I use the Vorn pack, it is what I have on my back. In this video.
