Hedgehogs in my area won't be happy if the cull ends!!! Oyster catchers that have just got established will also be eaten. Badgers are far too successful to need protection, what they do need is control for the benefit and balance of all wildlife.

The likes of Facebook and Instagram (also a Meta division) only understand a financial loss from advertising. Move yourself to an alternative platform like TikTok or one of the UK based providers.
Listening to an astrophysicist attempting to hold forth on epidemiology and biology is really rather tiresome and really, he ought to know better. The science on badgers and bTB is really extremely clear indeed; badgers are the main reservoir host of this disease and are also right at the carrying capacity of the land in many parts of the country. This means that badgers spend much of the year actually starving, and that tuberculosis and starvation are the two main limiting factors on their population.
I'm glad that other hunters are getting invested in using lead-free ammunition. Like he says, there's no excuse for us to be operating in 2024 and still using lead
