He's too technical. I mean it's served him extremely well as he's been largely healthy and avoided injury other than his nemesis elephant bar, throughout a VERY long career. My take is he's always been a little bit too safe to win, but it's let him come back strong again and again every year. I think if this is his last, and he's willing to push hard enough to risk injury, we may see something extra from him this time.

I think that’s pretty disrespectful to the other athletes to say Brain has “by far the most spirit and drive.” If anything he has less, he’s been doing this for damn near 20 years has won more than anyone except for Z, and has a massive business outside his career as a strongman. Guys like Novikov, Mateusz, Hooper, and Trey are much younger and hungrier and feel they have far more to prove than Brian does.

I really hope Brian can pull off a win. He's been fantastic to watch over all these years, and I think it would do he and the sport a world of good to get that 5th win.

I think there’s numerous independent factors mainly dependent on who’s in the final. Once the groups are done I think there will be a better assessment.

I think a top 3 finish would be good for him this year. Honestly dont see his fifth title in the cards but itd be awesome to see

I’m interested to see what Brian does. His strategy generally seems to be about keeping his performances even across all events in order to conserve his body and energy. With it being his last we might see him push it harder in individual events.

I truly thought it was going to be in California again and I just found out like two days ago. It was in Myrtle Beach and I live two hours from Myrtle Beach. I’m a huge Brian fan and I have never seen him compete so I can’t believe I’m going to see him for the first time compete and it’s going to be his last. I just hope I get the opportunity to take a 10 second selfie with him and just say thank you lol
