Around minute 3.20 you mentioned roti canai, well in Malaysia pronounce it Raw tee Chaa nai. Not to correct you just give you extra on it. Thank you for trying our Malaysian dish. We happy you've help in promoting and sharing our food to the world. Again thank you

Famous Ramly burgers are from the street, and the recipes vary depending on the cook, some put bbq sauce and cabbage, another put maggi seasoning and lettuce, wostershire (idk how to spell), smoke thousand island, they have their own way of cooking the patty too. The only similarity is the patties, they are all supplied by Ramly, hence the name Ramly burger. Make sure to ask for less sauce, it’ll suit foreigners’ pallate more bcs usually the burgers were drowned in a hefty amount of sweet chilli sauce and it will ruin the experience. Malaysians on the other hand, love their Ramly burgers sweet.
This is a ramli burger restaurant chain, it's just open in 3 years time and it's quite new actually, before the company only produce all a product to make a burger. The burger ramly that your heard of it from the street. They used ramly burger since 25-30 years ago. So you must try a street burger. Each burger place had a different taste. Great video. But _roti canai_ is malay word pronounced char-nye where the c is like ch in english (change, chin, choc, cheese) and not pronounced car-nye, unlike the c's in cabbage, cart, colorado, etc because in malay we have the letter k to do that job eg _kaki_ (car-key) = foot/feet, _sakit_ (sar-kate) = pain/painful, and not to forget, kuala lumpur = KL Notes: - nye for _nai_ in _canai_ above rhymes with dye - in malay _roti_ also means bread
@@ChovyTravel Too many out there...just make sure you see the 'Ramly' sign...each stalls has its own style of making the burger...but the patty is the same...my favourite is 'beef special + cheese'... 'roti canai' & 'nasi lemak' should also be in your list

Come on guys! Burgers??? Go and eat some awesome seafood, like Ikan Bakar (grilled stingray) or have the black chili crab. Sure, more expensive, but relatively cheaper there.
@@ChovyTravel You will find it at hawker centers or seafood restaurants where it is on display over ice. Essentially, grilled stingray is like fish although I understand people do eat the cartilage too. If you can find it, black chili crap is quite good too.
U may try various delicious types of Chinese food at ICC Pudu. (Please check their operating time) But, be prepared it can be unbearable hot and crowded 😅 Don’t miss yummy chendol and their coconut bun using authentic gula Melaka at Kwong Wah Ais Kacang in PJ too
Ramley burger u buy at the hawkers food street is tasteful rather than go to their restaurant.then u can compare both which is tasteful. Malaysian go buy at the stall. Cos the way they cooked is different with the restaurant. The restaurant is kinda dry. Like a McDonald’s for me lol. 😅 u can buy any food stall with a logo Ramley burger.
@@ChovyTravel don't forget to try Malaysia durian. In Penang island this Penang island the best durian variety in Malaysia. Buy ioi variety will do. Expensive is blackthorn. And second expensive is musang king. Me I prefer ioi. Blackthorn and musang king too hot for me. This 3 is yellow colour. Don't buy white and dull colour. And U can compare Thailand durian vs Malaysia durian.
@@ChovyTravel yes u need to pick good variety. Some ppl they go cheap variety the taste is awful lol 😂. Check the stem must new and fresh. Not dry stem. If new is just fall . But if dry stem is old durian fell a couple of days taste not good.

RAMLY is da name of the founder of dis business.. he is a malay entreprenuer one of successful businessman in malaysia.. all of their ingredients are all made by them.. ramly burger has more than thousand people invest on this product.. they are all fresh and totally HALAL
u should try the roadside ramly burger stall 1st, see what's the different, to be honest, i'm from east malaysia and i havent try this "ramly restaurant" yet, obviously, the "ramly restaurant burger" is different from "roadside ramly burger stall", the "ramly burger " stall's patty is way thin & smaller , but the sauce is definitely way more & different then the "ramly restaurant" . Btw, plz dont mimic those youtubers eating ramly burger without the wrapped paper.... either they are dumb enough or just to get more views.
We will definitely try the ones off the street for sure next time. Do you happen to have a favorite roadside Ramly joint? 😅😅😅 Typically, we always wrap a saucy burger. I think other RUclipsrs don’t use it because it disrupts the mic so the sound is awful at least that has happened with us in the past.
@@ChovyTravel probly wait others to advice, i went to jalan alor, the end of jalan alor (downward), which next to a durian stall for straight 2 nights, but different chef, and 2nd night wasnt that good. ohh, personally i always go for the beef, double & special is a MUST , the chicken it's nothing to shout bout. i believe thre's more stall which is better then jalan alor one.
In malaysia don’t they the Ramlee burger in their own restaurant, the street ones are the better, it comes with the environment of eating in the street.
You guys wrongly ordered... order anything with special instead of anything with egg on the menu. Eg. Chicken special or beef special, then you will get the patty wrap in egg.
@@ChovyTravel one of the best recommendations is Brader John located in Damansara Utama. Another two are Hassan Burger and Om burger located at Ampang. Unfortunately, we are not 😩
However, thank you so much for the list because we are definitely visiting KL again! 😁 Really appreciate the list! That really helps! 🥰🥰❤️❤️🫰🫰
@ChovyTravel if you are ever in Penang, hmu. Happy to bring you around!
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
It’s the street version that you need to try. That’s the kind most tourists like.
The burgers you tried are not the saucy sloppy ones from the street stalls.
Icic! Any particular street stall that is your favorite spot?
Wah.. Sedapnya.. Ramly burger lagi best dari MCD burger.
Right!!?? Really!? We had MCD at Malaysia and it’s pretty good! So many items they don’t have in the states!
Try the ramly burger at Boss burger jln alor
Thank you so much for the recommendation! Appreciate it! 😃🫰❤️🙏
@@ChovyTravel BurgerBoss. Order the special ones which comes with cheese and egg. I prefer beef patty . Best I have tasted in Malaysia
Really!? Guess we definitely have to go there next time 😅. Appreciate you sharing your secret Ramly Creation 🥰❤️🫰🙏 Can’t wait to try it next time we’re there!
Great video. But _roti canai_ is malay word pronounced char-nye where the c is like ch in english (change, chin, choc, cheese) and not pronounced car-nye, unlike the c's in cabbage, cart, colorado, etc because in malay we have the letter k to do that job eg _kaki_ (car-key) = foot/feet, _sakit_ (sar-kate) = pain/painful, and not to forget, kuala lumpur = KL
Notes:
- nye for _nai_ in _canai_ above rhymes with dye
- in malay _roti_ also means bread
Ahh! Got it! Thank you for letting us know! 😃❤️🫰🙏 Really appreciate the break down! That helps! 😁
Whereabouts these Ramly burger's shops..would like to visit one of these days
Unfortunately, we’re not very familiar with Malaysia but we have the location in the description down below of the video 😁
1 more info, we Malaysian crazy with mayo and sauces.
It seems that way 😅. Caroline is a saucy person but if she can’t even handle it. There’s no way I can hang 😂
this is not the ramli burger people are referring to they are referring to the street stall ramli burger, this restaurant is the franchise version
Icic! Next time for sure we will try the Ramly Burger off the street 😁 Thank you for the info! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Should try the street's version...you gonna love it
I know, right!? Next time for sure we will try the ones off of the streets. Any particular one that is your favorite?
@@ChovyTravel Too many out there...just make sure you see the 'Ramly' sign...each stalls has its own style of making the burger...but the patty is the same...my favourite is 'beef special + cheese'... 'roti canai' & 'nasi lemak' should also be in your list
Got it! So many to choose from that’s the hard part 😂
heyyy this place near to my house......
Oh really!? 😅 How funny! Have you gone there before?
Almost all ramly stalls have the same standard of burgers presentation. So please try the one from the street stall. I think they’re better than the restaurant’s.
Definitely will for sure the next time we visit Malaysia. On our To Do List! Thank you for the recommendation! Any particular that you consider your favorite stall?
Even though the ramly franchise is not bad.. But the streets one is the most authentic.. Sapa tau dekat mana dia belah burger tu n letak serbuk kari dekat tengah dekat kl ni?
Got it, Thank you! Any specific street Ramly Burger that is your favorite?
Most RUclipsrs went for the Boss Burger at Jalan Alor(Alor street) at Bukit Bintang area. you went there ( Pavilion Bukit Bintang) Ask anyone Boss Burger their burger are one of the delicious one.
Icic! Guess we definitely need to check them out in the future! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
@@ChovyTravel oh you guys have travelled out to Thailand. Hope to see u guys back in KL soon

Cheap and Tasty I want to try Remly Burger .
It’s Amazing! Definitely worth it! 🤤😁
ramly street burger is the best.. U can find them usually in front of 7-Eleven at night

we always eat with lot of chili sauce.
Icic! Thank you for sharing! 🥰❤️🫰🙏 We definitely can’t handle all of that sauce 😅
How you give those decimal point rating lol
😁😜 Every decimal point counts! Lol 😆
Come on guys! Burgers??? Go and eat some awesome seafood, like Ikan Bakar (grilled stingray) or have the black chili crab. Sure, more expensive, but relatively cheaper there.
Ramly burger is local brand that tourist should try
What!!?? Grilled Stingray!? That’s crazy! Where do we go eat those at!? 😅 Any specific seafood joints that are your favorite?
We would definitely go try more Ramly Burgers! 😁 We have yet to try the right ones.
@@ChovyTravel You will find it at hawker centers or seafood restaurants where it is on display over ice. Essentially, grilled stingray is like fish although I understand people do eat the cartilage too. If you can find it, black chili crap is quite good too.
Wow! Thank you so much! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Definitely peeked my interest 😁
The C in Canai is pronounced as Ch in Cherry.... thus it is Rrawhtee Chanai
Got it, thank you! That helps with the pronunciation! Appreciate it! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Sos Cili = Chilli Sauce
Thank you for letting us know! 🤦😅❤️🫰🙏
Lol sos chill
We literally just caught that, started laughing and then saw your comment. Laughed even more! 😂😂😂
Chill Sauce😂
😅🤦😅
The best Ramly burgers are the ones outside the 7Elevens.
Got it! Definitely have to check them 7 Elevens out 😅 Thank you so much! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
ask around for burger stalls.
Definitely will ask more people for burger stalls next time for sure! Thank you! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
The famous Ramly Burgers are the ones sold by street vendors.. they'll have a better taste..
Thank you for the heads up! We’re definitely going to have to try the Ramly Burgers on the street for sure next time 😁❤️🫰🙏
The best way to experience ramly burger is to eat the ones from the stalls on the street 😬
Definitely going to try it at the street stalls next time for sure! Any specific stall that is your favorite!?
Not recommend for shop. For ramly burger, you find a stall at end of Jalan Alor. The flovour too much difference between shop and stall at street😂
Really!? I guess we have to try it from the streets next time! Thank you for the recommendation! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Jalan Alor bangla stall.
Thank you so very much! 😃❤️🫰🙏
U may try various delicious types of Chinese food at ICC Pudu. (Please check their operating time)
But, be prepared it can be unbearable hot and crowded 😅
Don’t miss yummy chendol and their coconut bun using authentic gula Melaka at Kwong Wah Ais Kacang in PJ too
Heard about that place. Guess we definitely need to check that out next time! Appreciate the tip/heads up! 😃❤️🫰🙏
Icic! Thank you for the recommendation! Appreciate it! 😃🫰❤️🙏
Wow! Thank you so much for the breakdown! Really appreciate it! So many different Durians! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
@@ChovyTravel yes u need to pick good variety. Some ppl they go cheap variety the taste is awful lol 😂. Check the stem must new and fresh. Not dry stem. If new is just fall . But if dry stem is old durian fell a couple of days taste not good.
We don’t want cheap and low quality. We want the best to see how good it really is 😁
Thank you so much for the breakdown to distinguish which is new/fresh 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Yummy 😋😊
Right!!?? It was delicious! 🤤😁
10k subs is near! Hope you guy celebrate 10k subs in Thailand🙂🙂🙂🙂
Yes! How did you know!? 🤔😅
Our 10K celebration is going to be in Thailand 😁. We do have something special planned 😉

Nooooooo..not from the restaurant 😢😂...u need to try from the street one.. it's cheaper and 100x better from restaurant ,trust me👍👍..

If someone can open a Ramly Burger stall / Franchise in US or anywhere.
That would be interesting! 😁
Ramly burger from streets not a restaurant
Icic! Any particular Ramly Burger from the streets that’s your favorite?
Why you don't eat burger with chili sauce..
🤷 We’re such noobies we don’t really know how to eat them 😅
u should try the roadside ramly burger stall 1st, see what's the different, to be honest, i'm from east malaysia and i havent try this "ramly restaurant" yet, obviously, the "ramly restaurant burger" is different from "roadside ramly burger stall", the "ramly burger " stall's patty is way thin & smaller , but the sauce is definitely way more & different then the "ramly restaurant" .
Really!? I think that’s the hard part, to find the exact one that suits your tastebuds. Looks we definitely getting the double beef! 😅😅😅
Don't go to Ramly restaurant. Go to the street vendors which selling the Ramly burger. That where the hype is happening.
Got it! Next time for sure we will try it on the streets 😁 Thank you for the tip! 😃❤️🫰🙏
In malaysia don’t they the Ramlee burger in their own restaurant, the street ones are the better, it comes with the environment of eating in the street.
Next time for sure we’re eating Ramly off the streets 😅
You guys wrongly ordered... order anything with special instead of anything with egg on the menu. Eg. Chicken special or beef special, then you will get the patty wrap in egg.
😅 Any specific location you recommend so we can go to the right place next time?
@@ChovyTravel one of the best recommendations is Brader John located in Damansara Utama. Another two are Hassan Burger and Om burger located at Ampang. Last but not least is Kaw Kaw burger at Wangsa Maju. If you can take extreme hot chili, can try cili padi burger but would only recommended for those that really love hot. Can actually check online for best ramly burger in KL&Selangor. You will get tonnes of results...
Wow! Thank you so very much for the recommendation! Really appreciate it! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Go to the roadside Ramly...
Any particular one you recommend?
Please allow me to correct your pronunciation for roti canai its Cha-nai.. Not Ke-nai. Shld read with “c” not “k”.
