How come ? , I guess you play NA server , (me EU) is there option to buy it for free xp ? , or you sugest that you have spend free xp to do regrind ?

I got exited because I have 3mil free xp , I have only 30k and next regrind I could get RP ship , I plan to get Hector as I have most RB ships , but yes I agree that ship should be coal ship .

The ship even though it's pretty bland does look pretty strong tbh BUT it seems to fix a lot of the issues with the Dutch cruisers have with the 60 sec fires and BC dispersion all be it with only one charge of airstrikes and 203s, but the AP performance does seem nice. I feel like they put more focus on the ship itself with the airstrikes being a side thing. Great for down time when you are behind islands and have nothing to shoot, just to keep those numbers up. This is probably for people who already have Ohio or Slava.
I havent played Dutch cruisers besides De Zeven Provincien, and i love it. I loved the concept when i saw the devblog and i knew i have to get that ship (my only shipyard ship so far), i love the gameplay on it, it's great.
If I play Dutch, I play for Airstrikes. This ship only has one, so it is a no-go, unless they cheapen it massively.
As someone who is Dutch, you actually pronounced the name quite good.
De zeven provinciën and gouden leeuw tho💀 but ofcourse who cares, we got a strange language.
I like playing the Dutch Cruisers. Dispersion sucks sometimes, but to beable to annoying island campers is awesome.

On EU we do play the Dutch cruisers, maybe in NA there’s less incentive to play them. Especially the D7P is played a lot here.

As the biggest Dutch cruisers simp in world of warships and having 60k RB points and every other RB ship, I am buying this as soon as I get home

Cruiser dispersion is a huge UPGRADE because these tech tree dutch ships are so bad with accuracy I had to sell mine.
this is a ship that will likely be sitting in the armory until I'm down to the last few RB ships to get, then it will be in consideration.
As someone who ground out the dutch cruiser line; this seems like a ship for people who dont know how to play the line very well.
Could we get a research bureau tier list?
I used to be able to name all the ships by memory, but not anymore. Every day in battle I see a new ship. I can’t keep up. I used to familiarize myself with the stats of each ship in the game. That is definitely impossible now. At one time I had over 500 ships. At some point I realized that it was no longer sensible to keep adding ships to my port. Since then I’ve sold or traded in for research points about 80% of my fleet. I have my favorite ships at each tier and don’t see the point of researching or buying more.
As a coal ship this might been a consideration, not for RB points though. There is nothing here of advantage over the tech tree ships that makes this worth the RB points.

I think you meant the airstrike reload is going from 1:50 to 1:30 not 150 seconds to 130 seconds based on what i saw on screen.
Not sure, but what you're seeing onscreen is from his capt skill and the module.
I enjoy the Dutch line alot but I do agree only having one airstrike is kinda a waste I would've like to see better armor w/ faster reload its basically a harlem with out the extra airstrike.... But I wouldve paid the balloons or actual money for this ship

I don’t play Dutch cruisers much. I’ll have to pass on this one. My next RB ship will be the OHIO. I’m enjoying the Vampire II now and the Marceau. Great DD’s. Thanks for the video on this ship! o7 PQ!

up to t7 dutch cruisers are okish, after that the longer reload for no reason is meh
As Dutch cruisers/Airstike fun(yes, i exist), very hyped for this. While people say this ship is underwheliming... lets be honest Gouden Leuuw is also underwhelming from competitive point at the very least. Still enjoy playing it personally!
I already have Ohio, Colbert and Illinois. Guess I know which RP ship to go after next. haha

Your pronunciation is pretty good. The only thing wrong is the first word: van. the A in 'van' sounds like the A in 'after' . Or like in the word 'farm'. So say the word farm, and change the rm into an n. van Speijk.
to me the dutch line is very fun,
I only stopped playing them because with onboard ASW, subs can just sit there and torture me
But they have had ASW for months and months now, just not as airstrikes.
@@Ned-Ryerson He means stern-launched depth charges vs airstrike depth charges. In all but late game, trying to close in to use stern depth charges in a large cruiser is guaranteed death.

I would be interested if this thing gets the Tromp planes where the delay between aim and the damage is much shorter. As it is.... meh. I'd rather get myself a Slava/Paolo if i ever motivate myself to get another research ship. Already have Illinois and Ohio.
what? no, Tromp's airstrikes suck. they might be easier to land but they do significantly less direct damage
@trancybrat98 skill issue and personal opinion. I can't aim the cruiser airstrikes even if my life depended on it.
Anyways, imo there are more fun RB ships I still haven't gotten, so this is going to be on the backburner

She looks like she has the potential to be a good ship. But i would rather see her more as a coal ship than RB ship

My experience with the tech tree Dutch cruisers is that they give up WAY too much main battery DPM for the air strikes. If you don't get good results out of the airstrikes your damage totals will be rather unimpressive. I had hoped that Van Speijk would remedy this, but it doesn't sound like they've gone far enough with it.
was really excited about this ship as I play the dutch ships pretty well, but the single airstrike is kind of holding me back. that's the gimmick - why give it less gimmick? it's already got shitty range and shitty dpm. seems a bit weak.
I'll choose Illinois instead.
It's better than the whole tech tree already with the 30 second fires. Also the guns seem reasonable instead of the tech tree, which is just atrocious the entire way.
Dont use the Dutch cruisers much, they seem to lack some power and are not tanky enough to act like battleships. A shame tho because I am Dutch and would love to play the ships of my country.
Dutch cruisers are like unsalted cooked potatos , yes you can eat those and survive , but that will be terrible meal .

To not give this a two a three bomb plane charges is beyond me. It's research point ffs. Not worth it imo.

Oof, tough sell. Its like WG asked the question, what if it were a CA with 1 airstrike? Too many trade offs and T9 is super bad since they see super ships and dont forget subs. If I had RB pts to burn I would get it, as it stands now way too many trade offs and I love the Dutch CAs.

Tbh, I would rather have torpedoes on these Dutch cruisers. Airstrikes are not that great, and WG is making Dutch cruisers worse because of airstrikes. I mean, Van Speijk looks stronger than Goudeen Leeuw, even though it's a tier 9, but still, I don't think this ship is worth all that research bureau grind.
Sidegrades are what we need, WG's powercreep ruins the game

I plan to sell my main account , so I play on my spare account to get some things done , and I have taken today T6 Franch bb Normadie for a few games as I grinded Lyon , and I had battle random 9 vs 9 , MM look like that 1 bb (me) , 1 ca , 2dd , 2 cv , 3 subs per team , I shit you not , I died in first 4min of battle , I had nowhere to hide , no place was safe , I manage to do 12k dmg , terrible game , and that was first for me , I never before had such battle , I have quit game after that , and I think that is future of wows :/
