The most common thing a women will do in this instance is to put herself in front of you and pretend she cant see you(even though you JUST saw her looking at you before this). They use themselves as bait and assume if a man sees their body as the most effective way to get him to come over to speak. Dont play their game, men. Doing so only reinforces the stereotype that men only think with what's in between our legs. Soon as you reveal yourself as that, she will lose interest and QUICKLY.
Well a woman's only weapon and agency is their sexuality, so if they can't get any attention or reciprocation from that, its pretty much game over for them. But I think showing interest wont turn them off instantly, but if you suddenly become profoundly obsessed with her to the point where you start to chase her, then she will definitely lose interest
Don't you find it a tad bit creepy? I have excellent peripheral vision, so I can literally see them think about what they do before they do it - but I find it slightly creepy. They walk past you, and use their own peripheral vision to see if you're looking. I just up the game by pretending that I don't notice that they're pretending not to notice - kind of fun haha 😆

If a woman shows geniune desire in you, it is your best sign she's gonna walk into your frame, if you can handle it. If she's not your type, take initiative and put her in the friendzone.
