Interesting bit of kit. You know you have a good camera when you have to buy a specialty lens to actually degrade the image into a "nostalgic" look. Now that Nikon owns RED, I wonder if we will see one of these lenses on a RED camera sometime soon. I kind of doubt it! How does the lens compare to just using a "normal" lens and then applying a filter or preset in Lightroom to get that sort of look? It is probably easier to use software, but I guess some of the appeal is using the lens in the field for a special touch of creativity. Thanks for the insight and review.
I am always interested in options.... Even thou I am interested in an inexpensive option I would not buy after seeing Your photos... I am glad to have the inexpensive Nikkor Z 28mm f2.8...... and My F-Mount lenses for another look

Yes it’s more for a interesting experience for the shoot. Maybe a prototype for future innovations more than practical for good results

There wouldn’t be anywhere to fit a lens hood. But then it’d ruin the size novelty?
