There is a way to do this without new tone, once you have put your melody into edison, go to tools and select "Convert to score and dump to piano roll" from there you can correct any midi vocal errors and give you a basis to work from

I think you can still do this if you only have the trial of newtone also. I only bought the producer edition of FL Studio when I got it but I can still use newtone trial to get the notes and then copy them to the piano roll. The full version of newtone is incredible for vocals though as well if you don't already use melodyne. I know plenty of people will have newtone after "buying" FL Studio but not many people actually use the plugins you get with the better versions. You should make more videos on the stock FL plugins Arcade I'd love to see the potential that some of them have
quick tip, when you edit your video disable resample, so when you render your video the refresh rate of the source will match the output, i can see ghosting on your cursor, anyway great tutorial and hope to see more!

There's a "export to midi function". In The Mix covered that so if you don't have NewTone go check that video out
you can directly dump audio into midi using edison in cases of making remixes and making melody ideas. :)

Keystroke Ctrl-A selects all slices in Newtone or all notes if in the Piano Roll.
