Great list. My intro into board gaming was ticket to ride London. It was small and quick, but gave the added decisions to the game. I then ventured into villainous and have not stopped collecting board games.
Haha! It's a hobby that really sinks its claws into you. Which Villainous do you play or prefer? We were talking about doing a video on that soon. Stay tuned!
@@CrunchyCozyGames my favorite to play is Star Wars, but I will always love the variety and nostalgia of Disney villainous. Marvel is ok but it just never clicked with me. I play mostly solo, and I have not found the marvel solo variant that feels as good as Disney and Star Wars. Thanks and look forward to hearing your opinions on the series of games.
Thank you for your fun videos! These 10 are readily available and under $60, with many a good bit cheaper! These are what’s on our most accessible shelves: ⁃ Quacks - fun push your luck bag builder - but get some coin capsules for the ingredient chips ⁃ Isle of Cats - polyominos and cats and boats and a ridiculous theme ⁃ Meadow - open drafting nature tableau builder with a unique mechanism for choosing your cards ⁃ Living Forest - open drafting and tile placement in a fantasy nature setting, with a card mechanic that’s reminiscent of Mystic Vale but without the fiddliness ⁃ Egizia Shifting Sands - sailing one-way down the Nile and building beautiful things ⁃ Ra - a straight forward auction game that works for people who usually dislike or are uncomfortable with auctions ⁃ Alhambra - an old tile-laying classic with open drafting that’s always in print ⁃ Terra Nova - a simpler sequel to Terra Mystica which introduces asymmetric player powers, territory building, and area influence ⁃ Asking For Trobils - pick up and deliver, worker placement game with worker bumping, and a completely ridiculous theme and artwork ⁃ Woodcraft - this one is a heavier game that might not seem to fit in this list, but the mechanics feed into the theme so well that people seem to be able to engage with it - not an easy game to master but one that’s fun to play anyway

We've only played the Disney and Marvel variations. We have all of the Disney expansions, but our friends are the ones with Marvel.
Dominion was my gateway game and still one of my favorites!
I (Adam) definitely like it more than Kara. Lately, I've played a lot of games of it on the mobile app they released.
Thank you for your fun videos!

Love the suggestions! We haven't had the chance to play anything on your list below Meadow. I've had my eye on Ra for awhile.
