For anyone who has not read Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, if you're able, buy it either at a comics shop, a book store (such as Barnes and Noble), or online and delivered to you via a physical copy, because the story is absolutely fantastic! A lot of people today, when they think of Supergirl, they think, "Oh, yeah. I know her. She's just Superman-girl, right?" No, no, no. This comic goes into the mindset of Supergirl. She watched her entire population while floating in space perish around her, and then she went to earth. How does she live in her cousins (Superman's) shadow? How does she stand out? It's an amazing look at all of these ideas, and the art is absolutely stunning, and it DESERVES the big screen treatment.
Spot on! I loved this book and had no idea what I was in for! The writing took me by surprise more than anything. This movie is going to be SO fun to watch!

That is, until I found out that the original pitch for the comic run was a Supergirl and Lobo story, and that put me a bit more at ease.

Most definetly we have decades of Super-man live action Kara was always a more complexed character than Superman she was literally conscious with full memories of living on Krypton then to come to earth and live, am definitely excited
I think it’s just easier to be excited for Supergirl more because you have a full grasp on how the story and tone may be. Superman is much more of a mystery and it makes some of yall glitch.
If you have read the comic, you KNOW this movie has the potential to literally be the BEST comic book movie of ALL TIME! And I will stand on that till I fucking die

in the book I thought she was 14 on the chunk of Krypton that she was left the rock at 14 and found herself on earth then celebrating 21st birthday when she meets Ruthye
Ah yes, I think it was something like that. But yes she meets Ruthye celebrating her 21st birthday and goes to a planet that would allow her to get drunk
As much as I think Molly is a better actress than Meg donnaly, I would've proffered Meg as supergirl, she looks the part, she has a Batgirl vibes she also got a pop punk band so that's working so good, she is supergirl really and I hope she will get some other role in the dcu she's better than milly for the role
