For the Skytrax sign, I think they don't mean to overly proud about it.. In my opinion, it more like to gives all the passengers "guarantee" that they really can put their trust to this airline as one of the most qualified air transportation in Southeast Asia.. Why so important? Cuz many many many years ago, only Singapore Airlines that always won those kind of qualities.. Foods, safetiness, hospitalities, and also cabin design.. Others are quite underestimated though.. But now, as u can see, Malaysian Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Thai, etc, are following behind.. Thats why 5 stars from Skytrax IS that important :D

Wow. Garuda must be one of only a handful of international airlines who have their welcoming and safety message in Dutch (also). One other thing I noticed: the air hostesses are of a more mature age. It's good to see Garuda Airways makes optimal use of its personnel. I can only imagine the 'forced retirements' on other airlines when air hostesses become older than 30.
as Indonesian, I have never been on Garuda Indonesia airlines. my favorite is Garuda's company, Citilink Indonesia. but, in the near future I'm glad I would've tried to fly with Garuda Indonesia due my travel to Japan. thank you by the way for making such a great video review on your travel with Garuda Indonesia regards

I was flying with Garuda from Amsterdam to JKT, and i thought this Airline made me so comfortable and fun. the Cabin crews are friendly and they're always asking something what we need with smile.. And i love it.. I'm forget, that the foods are also Delicouse :)
Well i might said, i always happy and satisfied with Garuda. Only the price just expensive but hey... at least they give very good service, less delayed and good kind friendly cabin crew. For me still i cant believed it that if i go from Amsterdam - Jakarta gonna cost 600€ until 800€ (economy class). But if i go from Jakarta - Amsterdam gonna start from cheapest is 800€ - 1.000€ Soooo big different! I dont know why they do that :/

Actually, having a displayed board/ certificate of rating like that is ensuring the benefit you get. Like customer satisfaction guarantor. You can complain as much as you want or demand anything all you want as long as they can provide it to you

I'm doing four hops on Emirates business in November and December. Hoping they keep me well fed and watered.
Emirates are good too, I've only tried their First Class, which was over the top. Their Business should be good!
