All those pilots truly deserved their flying wings today. Such skill determination perseverance and courage. God Bless you all. Feel sorry for passengers, I hope they were not too freaked out!!
We do not normally get these sort of landings at Heathrow though they seem to be more common at Manchester, but this is nothing new to those of us who experienced landings at old Kai-Tak - they were fun.
If I had been a passenger on any of those flights the cleaning staff would have had their work cut out lol well done the pilots though extreme skill in extreme weather
Look at that I really enjoyed watching the landing. I salute all the pilots. May GOD project and guide all of them in this bad weather In JESUS CHRIST Mighty Name I Pray Amen.
Big Jet, I live on the Heathrow flightpath. What you are doing is fantastic. Yes, the pilots deserves medals for what they do. Well done matey for bringing this fantastic stuff to us. You have me hook
haha so funny i was watching this guy and before the news knew about this and my family was around me watching it on my other screen and it was so funny to see the planes that i saw live on the news
You guys are doing a great job, you ain't even concerned the plane could land on your head. I had such fear decades ago from a close range descending plane over my father's house
Sometimes you just can’t be worried about that grease job and you just gotta set her down on the tarmac. The landing gear can take it! Just get it down and get it stopped! And if you don’t like what’s happening, push the throttles to the firewall and GTFO out of there!
It is very Old School with modern to expect them to stop on the runway when they can push passengers and their luggage out the doors at slow speed a few meters above the runway
Now we got a show on planes landing sideways! 🤦🏽♀️. We ALL SCREWED! ANYTHING for thrills, including DANGEROUS LANDINGS where PEOPLE can be KILLED! What next! 😳
Pilots should of refused to fly in such precarious weather conditions! Maybe Richard Branson was hoping to stand on the wing...such a dangerous foolish decision of Britain to allow any flights!
With all due respect a lot of theses flights left their respective countries before the storm hit! With fuel running out, a lot of them had to try and land otherwise their fate would’ve been a lot worse 😂 it’s testimony to the skills of the pilots that they’re able to land, it’s what they train for after all!
@@Charlotte._.102 I know what you mean in as far as they left prior to storm but the weather was also pre forcasted. Its because ive been in planes that dropped so low the oxygen masks fell out and engine broke, thats all.I know their fuel may run and of course commend the pilots skill but control shouldnt take risks in my opinion. Think about your statement. Planes hold 200-300 passengers, let's assume 250 on average. Heathrow is the busiest airport in all of Europe, and receives 45 planes per hour. That equates to 11,250 people arriving into Heathrow every hour. London City gets an average of 18 per hour, Luton 13, not sure about Stansted, but let's say 10. We now have a total of 21,500 people arriving into London by air, per hour. Suppose now that you decide to halt landings for the storm, let's say a cumulative 5h across the day. Then, suddenly, 107,500 passengers are stuck in airports across the globe -- but they need to get home. So tomorrow, air travel has over a hundred thousand passengers that need to be on planes. Do you see the problem? Air traffic control know very well what can and cannot be handled by planes and pilots; pilots themselves are incredibly well trained and skilled in general (the proof is in this video).
I want you people to listen to me very carefully. There is a reason why there is an attendance policy in the employee handbook. This is for that reason. I am calling off today. And I'm watching the weather report like I watch Clubhouse. And when things clear up then my stomach will stop hurting and I can report into work. Hold on let me practice my cough. In fact we're living in the days of coronavirus. So why don't I just use that excuse. Because I'm not coming in today.
Hey Amigo there was people’s life at risk during that landing and u commented like it was an RC plane game, that was very selfish and arrogant, go make a live inside a plane in that situation or in another similar dangerous situation. You didn’t acknowledge and respected a threating life situation, just looking the live views man what’s going on i your head? This is contributing to see people’s risking their life as an entertainment thing on the like one of those episodes in black mirror. be more respectful and if you don’t aknowledge this then i hope one of the people in that flight would explain it you

I don't know where the BA pilots train, God only knows they good!
Expertise at the highest level!
Incredible skills these pilots have! Such huge responsibility of landing the plane safely with so many lives at stake!!

Sadly can't put 200 people in the restroom at the same time. Everywhere is restroom now.
Great stuff. Amazing landings. People inside those aircrafts though 😳. Thanks for this great film!
Imagine the pilots looking back and being like, dang, I did that :D

Thank you Lord to our CP Eunice KQ
I was on a flight in 2019 into Manchester that had an aborted landing after a nasty crosswind. Every day of that one is a GIFT!
And when they were up they were up , and when they were down they were down, and when they there were only half way up they were neither up nor down .
Commentator you are an inspiration.😃
Malaysia airline had very good landing

anyone feeling a lil bit patriotic when you see your country’s plane☺️

I do not understand why London flights not diverted. Flights to UK should be suspended
You sound so much better with tje phone muted
Good one Gerry great entertainment.🤪
the pilots of course knew there's a storm, so why land and not divert? just curious cause where im from, flights are cancelled when theres a big storm
Why haven't you showed the Egypt Air dream liner that landed smoothly while the reporter was shouting like an idiot "you can't do it"

Crabbing is a bona-fide landing technique in wind sheer

Why did they let them land. ??
If not, where should they go with the limited fuel they have?

Good video ruined by drama queen voice over. Natural wind noise would be better and more respectful to the pilots.
That’s a horrible landing 😳
Jerry we love you.😉
These landings are worse than pearl harbours.
Lol they closes schools stop public transport but let planes fly 🙄🙄
