    This just go to show how much respect pilots need because in situations like this they put in their all to give passengers a safe flight.

    Hats off to all the pilots for landing peacefully,proud of our own lady Captain Karauri for landing Kenya airways safely at Heathrow airport despite of the storm

    the pilots are massive heroes. Takes a lot of guts and amazing skill to control a machine like that. They saved a lot of lives today.... respect

    Ive watched sky news all day today and like most its been amazing watching these amazing pilots land these big aircraft in such a storm. Absolutely take my hat off to them.

    Those split second decisions to abort landing when the plane is almost down had my heart in my mouth. In awe of the tremendous skill and courage shown by the pilots!!

    All these pilots are heroes. Landing is one of the most dangerous/accident prone moments of the flight. They did it with this storm.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    Give every pilot an enormous round of applause, what skill, what micro second application of skill; deciding at the last second whether to land or go around. A tribute to their training and cool thinking.

    I’ve been on a flight that aborted landing at last minute due to cross wind. It’s scary AF. Big big respect to these pilots.

    Surprised the flights were not cancelled or set to land at another airport for 24hrs so the weather improved making it safer for all.
