Installing DEI heat wrap onto exhaust system is actually a very easy process. I will show you how to install DEI aka "Design Engineering" heat wrap the right way onto your exhaust system. I removed my old fiberglass heat wrap because it was fraying apart and falling off my exhaust. The DEI heat titanium heat wrap is made out of pulverized lava rock compared to fiberglass. The DEI heat wrap is much softer and easier to work with during the install process compared to fiberglass heat wraps. The DEI heat wrap did not leave me feeling itchy or give me slivers like fiberglass does. The DEI product looks much nicer compared to fiberglass and you can see it one you finish wrapping the exhaust system. I did some IR thermometer testing on heat wrap and the surface temperature was cooler comparer to the bare metal. After heat wrapping the downpipe for my Skyline GTR, I am happy I ordered this, it looks amazing compared to before.

Stainless exhausts are usually intended to disapate heat quicker, wrapping it can effect performance and could damage it where it traps heat.
Excellent install of the DEI Lava wrap 👍
Great job as usual man. Thumbs up.
Much appreciated!
Freaking awesome dude
Thanks man!
fiberglass heat reduce good?
How did you make out with your oil pressure problem? As of today my 32 gtr stated 0 when stopped and idle and went to about 2 bar when driving... Was perfectly fine the other day. Hoping it's just the sender. Has a 3rd gen RB26 in it. Thanks and keep up the good content.
If you look in the factory service manual it shows that it's supposed to be about six bars while driving under load in higher rpm range. Should be around 2 to 3 bar at idle. You might have a bad oil pressure sending unit. Before I replace mine my car would also read zero bar and idle. Glad you like the content
So the benefits are reduced heat & produce more power?
*reduced radiant heat. Your exhaust will prolly be hotter, but supposedly a hotter exhaust side will help you spool
*on turbod cars, stock cars idk
